i changed our blog's theme like a month ago but i want to change it again. we're also thinking abt changing our sys name

What being mediple means to us:

Having what we call "the shared self", but that on its own having no identity. We are all Fluffy, but Fluffy is more a concept than a person. We describe it as a stream that flows through all our selves, being a part of who we are but not the only thing.

I am you and you are me, but we are not the same person. We are separate and together all at once. I see into your mind and understand you as I understand myself.

Experiencing what we call "same mind", which is the idea that thoughts, emotions, and memories are fully shared and create a sense of us all being facets of the same person.

Despite having "same mind", we are our own separate people. We have one actually median member and they can't envision themselves being completely separate from the whole. Meanwhile the mediple members can, even if we would feel very much like part of us is missing.

We are often complimentary counterparts and foils to one another. We are interconnected in ways that go far deeper than what we can see on the surface.

There's not much mediple content out there! It took a while to come to the realization that we were mediple, but it was undeniable once we started actually putting how we felt into words. I hope that our experiences can help other systems discover that they might be mediple too.

If you want to be plural you can just be plural

By that I mean, there are methods you can use to become plural, of course. But if you want to be plural, you probably already are plural. You don't have to figure out headmates or names or roles or origin or separation levels or communication or headspace or anything right away to claim that as your own. You can just be plural. You can sit with that label for as long as you want without taking any other steps. Being plural doesn't mean you have to have all the answers. It doesn't mean you need to know a certain amount about your system. It doesn't mean you have to take any actions beyond identifying as plural. You can just be plural. You will, probably, eventually take more steps – learn who your headmates are, learn who you are, learn how things work for you, learn who you all want to be and what you want to do moving forward. But you don't have to do any of that if it would be too much for you. You don't have to push yourself to have a place here. It's okay to be plural. It's okay to want to be plural. You are welcome here. Take a breath, don't push yourself, and congratulate yourself on making it this far. Sit with the plural label as long as you like, and when you're ready to move forward – or if you've decided it's not for you after all – there will be people there for you, ready to help if you need it. And if you never take any other steps, there will people there for you then, too. I hope being plural is a joyous experience for you, one that's all you've ever wanted and more <3

just because someone doesn't talk about some symptoms on tumblr, or on discord, or whatever, does not mean that the person does not experience those symptoms.

people do not have to put their entire life online, especially when it comes to symptoms that make them feel negatively in some manner.

so, do not assume that just because you do not see struggle online automatically means that person does not struggle.

like with us, for example. there's so much negative stuff that we do not talk about on tumblr, or even on discord.

let people be private, for whatever reason. do not dismiss their struggles and assume they do not struggle.
