I had an urge to draw water birds and ended up with my traditional art piece for county fair. I decided to draw a Least Bittern because I think they look silly. It's drawn with copic markers and my dad's prismacolor pencils he lets me steal sometimes.

A Flame Bowerbird inspired by Dancing with the Birds. Very cool movie. It took me SO LONG to make. Definitely the most work I've put into a piece in a long time. Why I chose to do all the painting on one layer I'll never know but I mostly like it. I don't love the back and upper tail coverts.
