Family Dynamics Challenge
Greetings, fellow simmers! Welcome to the landing page for our Family Dynamics Challenge, specifically created for the Sims 4. This challenge was created by Pastella Pixels and standingsimmer with the goal to set forth a unique (and fun!) set of guidelines for a ten-generation legacy challenge centered around a variety of family dynamics.
If you choose to play this challenge on any platform, please feel free to use the hashtag #familydynamicschallenge so we can enjoy your gameplay too!
General Rules
Begin with a single sim
No cheats or mods that serve to enhance gameplay over other simmers (MC Command Center is permitted for baby gender/number control and risky woohoo only)
May use “freerealestate on” when starting the first generation ONLY
Custom saves are allowed, and encouraged, to add an infusion of new gameplay opportunities
Each career and aspiration must be completed unless expressly stated otherwise (if a career branch is not specified, then the choice is completely up to you!)
Have fun! Don’t let the rules of this challenge confine you and inhibit your creativity. Unless the rules explicitly direct you, we encourage you to make the gameplay your own
Generation One: “White picket fence”
From the time that you strike out on your own as a young adult, you dream of cultivating loving familial relationships as rich and unique as the dishes you love to create. You marry younger than some of your friends, raise a bundle of children, and enjoy gardening and entertaining in your spare time. Yet, you still devote a portion of your life to your hidden dream of becoming a master chef.
Traits: Outgoing, Foodie, Family-Oriented
Aspiration: Successful Lineage
Career: Culinary (Master Chef branch)*
Rules:
Complete at least five (5) gold-level dinner parties
Master cooking and baking skills
Marry as a YA and stay happily married until “death do us part”
Have 3-4 children
Maintain a garden with at least 10 unique plants, including a cowplant
Complete at least ¾ levels of aspiration
*Upon completing level 5 of the Culinary career, you may also choose to leave the career and open a restaurant instead
Generation Two: “Why ever leave?”
You were raised to believe that “home is where the heart is.” And because of this, you rarely venture into the outside world unless given a really good reason to do so. You choose not to leave your parents’ home to pursue your own path at the same time that a lot of others do. Video games and programming became your passion while holed up in your basement bedroom, and thankfully your career of choice doesn’t require a lot of socialization. Leftover pizza, anyone?
Traits: Lazy, Slob, Geek
Aspiration: Computer Whiz
Career: Tech Guru (eSport Gamer branch)
Rules:
Win a GeekCon competition while cosplaying
Meet spouse at GeekCon
Master programming and video gaming skills
Play the guitar as a hobby (no skill requirement)
Order pizza for dinner at least one night per week
Never move out of childhood home until parents have died
Generation Three: “Support my family”
Being raised by a parent with an affinity for keeping close to home never quelled your sense of adventure and love for the outdoors when growing up. You love finding hidden treasures and collecting “useless” items, hoping to convince others of their value. Being made a single parent at a young age only helped to build the desire within you to remain free of the clutches of a “normal” job or relationship. And so, you devote your heart to running your own business and being the best parent that you can.
Traits: Cheerful, Unflirty, Loves the Outdoors
Aspiration: The Curator
Career: Self-employed (owns a retail store and sells collectibles/woodworking creations)
Rules:
Become a single parent as a young adult
Master handiness and charisma skills
May sell items at Flea Market whenever possible
Visit the secret lot in Oasis Springs
Travel to a vacation world at least 3 times
Generation Four: “Laugh away the pain”
Let’s be honest: you had a pretty good upbringing. Even though there were some rough patches, you know that your parent did the best they could to raise you alone. But, deep down, being alone is the very thing you fear more than anything. So, you cover it up with laughter,…both the laughter which bubbles from inside you and that which you try to create in others. You marry young in a desperate attempt to fill the emptiness that drives you, only to find later that your spouse has chosen another. Eventually, you have to face the fact that your family and the laughter are enough to hold you up. Oh, and did we mention you mix some crazy DJ tapes in your free time?
Traits: Goofball, Romantic, Active
Aspiration: Joke Star
Career: Entertainer (Comedian branch)
Rules:
Master DJ and comedy skills
Reach level 5 of the fitness skill (jogging only)
DJ at a club at least once per week
Marry first GF/BFas a YA
Turn blind eye to spouse’s cheating
Eventually divorce spouse; never remarry
Generation Five: “Struggling in the city”
You come from a broken home. Growing up, you witnessed first-hand the havoc that infidelity can bring on a family. You determine from a young age that you will pour your soul into forging close relationships with your spouse and children. The city draws you, and it is there that you decide to make your home. However, despite your best efforts as a doctor later in life, tragedy claims one of your children long before their time. You wear a shroud of sadness from then on, but find that the love of your remaining child(ren) and your ability to express yourself through song might just pull you through in the end.
Traits: Gloomy, Genius, Music Lover
Aspiration: Super Parent
Career: Doctor
Rules:
Master singing and parenting skills
Reach level 5 of the logic skill
Live in an apartment from YA onwards
Have more than one child
Win at karaoke night at least once
Lose one child to death
Visit child’s grave at least once per week; leave their bedroom untouched
Generation Six: “Living with a broken heart”
You lost a sibling at a very young age and witnessed your parents’ grief while still trying to process it yourself. Rather than trying to pick up the pieces, you let the sadness consume you. You give into your darkest thoughts. Theft and criminal activity appeal to you, and eventually you give yourself over to that lifestyle. Even though you’re more at home in your contemplative solitude, you take comfort once in a one-night-stand. But there’s a surprising side to you; the raging in your heart is only calmed by the time you spend cultivating life in the soil.
Traits: Kleptomaniac, Loner, Vegetarian
Aspiration: Public Enemy
Career: Criminal
Rules:
Run away from home as a teen & never speak to parents again
Do not “inherit” any money from parents
Garden as a coping method
Master mischief and gardening skills
Steal at least 10 items over the course of generation
Have a one-night-stand with a coworker that results in pregnancy
Generation Seven: “Here to make a difference”
There is only one word to describe your childhood: lonely. You knew from a young age that the parent you lived with took no pleasure in your company, and you’ve always felt that you were the “mistake” that resulted from a careless decision. As a result, you pour effort into building relationships with those who truly care about you, and even attempt to mend relationships with those who don’t. You have a core group of people who mean the world to you, and you spend as much time with them as you can. Becoming a politician was an obvious choice, as it provides you with the tools you need to reach others. And while you’re a social creature by nature, you never turn down the opportunity to curl up with a good book.
Traits: Good, Insider, Bookworm
Aspiration: Friend of the World
Career: Politician (Charity Organizer branch)
Rules:
Attempt to mend relationships with estranged grandparents and parent
Maintain a club of “besties” from YA onwards
Have a movie night with club once per week
Master the charisma and wellness skills
Marry a club member
Read at least 10 unique books over the course of the generation
Have at least two biological children and adopt at least one child
Volunteer with family at least twice
Generation Eight: “Working with animals is my passion”
Growing up, you were constantly surrounded by family and close friends who loved you. But you desired more than just human interaction. Animals are your passion, and your biggest dream is becoming a vet and opening your own clinic someday. Even though starting up your own business means you have to live with your parents longer than most of your friends, you don’t mind because it means you’re close the people you love. In fact, closeness and similar interests cause you to fall in love with someone who works at your vet clinic, and they don’t mind that you can’t yet afford a place of your own. In your “spare time” (hah!), you enjoy photographing places near and far, searching for that perfect shot. Between trying to run a successful clinic and your photography hobby, you’re not able to spend as much time with your children as you like. But that’s okay; you’re out there living your dreams.
Traits: Cheerful, Self-Assured, Cat Lover OR Dog Lover (player chooses)
Aspiration: Friend of the Animals
Career: Self-Employed (runs a vet clinic)
Rules:
Live with parents until they die while trying to get clinic off the ground
Have a child as a YA with someone who works at vet clinic
Marry the father/mother of their child once parents die
Master veterinarian, pet training, and photography skills
Achieve 4/5 star vet clinic rating
Must take at least one photo in every world
Have collage wall in their clinic of pets
Generation Nine: “Business-minded and musically-inclined”
Your parents worked hard for every penny that they earned, but you were just left feeling like they didn’t care about you as much as the animals they tended. Your grandparents are your closest friends while they’re still alive. After all, they practically raised you. As a young adult, you desire the family you feel you never had and start a family quickly…only to find out that you’re married to someone you don’t love as much as you should. You have a “responsible” 9-5 at the local business office, but you also possess real musical talent. Even though you would never consider leaving your job at the office, investing in your music is something you do quite regularly. You eventually remarry after finding real love, and enjoy the rest of your life mediating a mixed family. Will you find true happiness amidst the wealth and your high-powered job?
Traits: Ambitious, Clumsy, Snob
Aspiration: Musical Genius
Career: Business (Management branch)
Rules:
Become good friends with one or both grandparents
Marry and have at least one child; divorce spouse
Later remarry and have at least one child (think “Yours, Mine & Ours”)
Master piano and charisma skills
Achieve level 5 of either the violin or guitar skill
Hire and keep a butler
Eat out at a restaurant at least once per week
Generation Ten: “I will make our happy ending”
Objectively speaking, your life is great. You never really wanted for anything as a child. The overactive imagination that you possess lends itself perfectly to your love of writing. The supernatural fascinates you, but more than anything you desire to find true love. When your significant other suddenly dies prematurely, you immediately begin to seek out a way to bring them back to you. As you search, drinking becomes your method to quiet a broken heart and provide a false sense of peace. But at a time when your hope begins to lag, your decision to adopt a child despite your own childlessness is the final push you need to persevere. You succeed in creating your own happy ending following a long line of sims with odd stories: some happy, and some not.
Traits: Hot-Headed, Creative, Erratic
Aspiration: Soulmate
Career: Self-employed (writer)
Rules:
Master writing and gourmet cooking skills
Achieve level 5 of mixology skill
Find true love at a young age, significant other dies prematurely
Successfully resurrect significant other
Adopt a child before spouse is resurrected

Little Did I Know Master List | Should Have Known Master List | All Works
After quickly changing my top, I made my way back out to the party. I did a little mental check over my lovely little family, Theo had his trousers on, and Tom was talking to Harrison. I looked around a couple more times, but I couldn’t see her. I did the weird little jog walk thing over to Tom and Harrison, not wanting to alert anyone to the fear that I was feeling.
“Hey, where have you been?” Harrison asked as soon as he saw me coming.
“Tilly? Where is she?!” I ignored him.
They both looked around, neither of them appearing too fearful that something had happened. Tom nodded to Harrison and he walked over to Harry, whispered in his ear then made his was to Sam and repeated.
“You’ve changed your top.” Tom remarked.
I looked at him, properly for the first time today, “There was a situation, I sorted it.”
“What kind of situation?”
“The kind that proves that you were right. No need to worry though, she accidently told me everything that we need to know.”
“Do we need to have a meeting?” Tom looked concerned and I nodded.
“She was hidden under the table eating chocolate!” Harry’s voice brought us back to the party.
We both turned to him and he was carrying a very messy little girl. We both laughed at the sight before us, before Tom and grabbed Tilly from Harry. Tom told me that he was going to get her cleaned up before giving me a kiss on the check.
All of them were looking at the table. No one wanted to make eye contact with me. Of course, they wouldn’t, they knew that whoever thought that they were brave enough to look me in the eye would be on the receiving end of their worst nightmare.
One by one, I looked at them. Willing them to look at me so that I could take all of my fury out on me. I needed an outlet.
The loud bang of the door closing informed me of Tom’s arrival. He walked straight over to behind me. His familiar cologne filled my nose and calmed me down. He whispered in my ear that he had put the children to bed.
“So…” A few people shuffled around so I moved away from Tom to show everyone that I was just as powerful by myself as I was next to Tom, “A mistake has been made. A big mistake. The only thing that I had asked of you was to ensure that no intruders made their way into the party. That is all that I asked of you. But you couldn’t do it. Why is that?” My words hung in the air. I wanted their fear to fester until they couldn’t handle it anymore. Someone will know something and soon so will I. “I am going to go sit in my office. If anyone has anything to say, I will be listening.”
With that, I left the office. Tom had more things to talk to them about that did not concern me, I had my own business to attend to.
“Are you sure? Because what you are saying is a very serious accusation.” I asked.
“I swear on my life.” John confirmed.
“Good. Because if you are lying then it will be on your life,” I reminded him.
“George was talking to Zendaya, I saw it with my own eyes.”
“Did you hear what they were saying?”
“He told her about the party. Where, when and how to get into the party.”
I turned away and started going through my draws before I grabbed what I was looking for, “And why didn’t you tell me this beforehand?”
“Erm…”
“I thought that you wouldn’t have an answer to that.” I walked towards him and showed him what was in my hands, “Do you know what these are?” He nodded and I smiled, “Do you know what I am going to do with these?” Once again, he nodded again.
The bolt cutters were heavy in my hands, but all that I could think about was how much fun I was going to have. I called for two more men to join us. They instantly knew the drill and grabbed John’s shoulders, holding him in place.
“So, do you want to retract your statement?” I asked and he started backtracking.
I put his fingers between the cutters and the more he spoke, the less I cared. The bolt cutters crushed his fingers and he screamed. The sound was like music to my ears. The look in his eyes as he knew that I was going to slowly kill him was intoxicating. Every single plea that left his mouth made me more excited to end his pitiful life.
“What did you think was going to happen?” I inquired as I out down the bolt cutters and looked at the other toys that I had in my office.
“He was going to pay me. He wanted me to say this. Harrison. It’s all Harrison.”
Quickly, I turned and punched him square in the face. Definitely, breaking his nose in the process. Grabbing the crowbar, I smashed his knees in, ensuring that he couldn’t try to run.
“You can leave boys. You don’t want to see this.”
“But Mrs. Holland,” One of them started, but the other punched his arm and shook his head. They left without another word.
“(y/n), I promise you. It’s Harrison. He’s working with Zendaya to bring you down from the inside.”
“Do you know how many layers of skin we have?”
“Erm, no.”
“Neither do I. But I like to play this game where I try to find out how far I have to cut for it to hit your nerves.”
My phone started ringing which brought me out of the moment. I wiped my hands on my skirt as I picked up my phone. It was Tom, he asked me how long I was going to be. I looked over at John and saw how lifeless he looked.
“Give me about 20 minutes, I need to finish this then clean myself up.” I hung up the phone, grabbed the gun and shot the all but dead John.
Walking out of the office, I nodded at the men outside and they in walked into my office to clean it up. As I walked through my bedroom into the bathroom. As I looked at myself in the mirror, my (y/c/h) was matted together with blood. The blood went down my face and was speckled over my clothes.
I turned the shower on before slipping out of my skirt. I unbutton my shirt and dropped it to the floor. As I reached behind my back to undo my bra, I felt a pair of hands start touching my stomach from behind. I turned my head a tiny bit to see Tom smirk as he started kissing my shoulder. Between kisses, he pulls my bra strap off and takes off his own top.
We both made our way to the shower as Tom slowly took the rest of his clothes off. The hot water engulfed our bodies as Tom grabbed a sponge and soap before washing my body. He took his time and extra care on my breasts. I turned around to face him and kissed him properly. My hands found their way into his wet brown curls while his grabbed my arse.
I moved down his body and marked the way with little light kisses. As I reached his penis, Tom’s hands tangled themselves in my hair. He tensed up as I lightly kissed around him. A loan groan came from the back of his throat as he pulled my hair tighter. I knew that he would go crazy if I didn’t do anything.
His pre cum mixed with the shower water as I took all of him in my mouth. Instinctively, Tom pushed my head until I was gagging on him. He fucked my face as fast as he could before he suddenly stopped.
He grabbed my arms and pulled my up to kiss me. Tom turned me around before pushing me up against the glass door. He sucked on my neck while his hands played with my breasts.
“I love you, (y/n)” Tom whispered in my ear as he entered me.
“I… I… lo..lo…ve.. you Tom” I managed to tell him in between moans as he sped up, hitting my g-spot multiple times.

Little Did I Know Master List | Should Have Known Master List | All Works

I have never been so stressed in my life. Nothing compares to the horrors and fear that something like this.
Who would have known that planning a sixth birthday party would be so crazy? Especially when the birthday boy did not want to but his pants on and was just running around in his underwear.
“Tom!” I shouted and he came into the room. I looked at him with the saddest face possible and handed him the pants without any words.
“If I do this, then you need to get Tilly ready.”
“Deal!” I told him, “She doesn’t want to take her clothes off all the time… yet.”
“Key word there is yet.”
“Don’t remind me” I laughed as I left Theo’s room.
I poked my head around the corner into Tilly’s room, but I could not see her. As I started walking further around the corner, I could see Sam running around.
“Samantha,” I called to get his attention and he looked at me like a child caught with his hand in the cookie jar, “you wouldn’t be chance know where my daughter is, would you?”
At that I heard a little giggle come from inside the room and Sam told me no, with a massive smile on his face. I rolled my eyes and shouted out “Guess no party for her then!”
“MUMMY!” I heard Tilly scream as she came running out of her hiding spot, fake crying.
Laughing, I shook my head at the pair of them before picking the little girl up and took her to her room to get ready for the party.
The party seemed to go without any hiccups, so far. Theo invited some of his friends from school over for his birthday, so for security, we had decided to rent a house for the weekend. It was just safer for everyone. As we appeared to be a regular family who seemed to be a little over the top when it came to security, people assumed that we were related to someone important. You know, rather than being a part of the mob.
There was a massive bouncy castle; teacups ride; a ball pit; a miniature petting zoo; and the biggest table ever filled to the brim with food. Looking around, I thought about everything that we had gone through to get here. It was not easy, but it was definitely worth it. Two children, Six years, and a hell of a lot trouble, but I wouldn’t change a single second of it.
Tom came up behind me and pulled me into a hug before whispering in my ear, “Your son took his trousers off again.”
“Can you not come up to me ONE TIME and tell me something nice?” I asked pretending to be angry at him.
“You can’t even tell Theo off, it’s his birthday. If he wants to be free, let him, I say”
“No. We have guests. Go put his trousers on him!”
As Tom walked off, I noticed one of our guards walking towards me with an expression that I did not like at all. He whispered in my ear that we had a problem. But we were prepared for this. Everyone knew that if a situation like this was to occur then we do not react, we couldn’t possibly worry the children. I followed the guard into the house and down into the basement.
“It’s through there.” He told me before turning back around and resuming his post.
I knew what to expect when I opened the door, but it was still a surprise. Tom warned me that something like this could happen since we tried so hard to act like a regular family. I told him that I would be careful. More importantly, I told him that if it happened then I would take care of it.
Walking into the room only made everything even more real. Outside, it was all ‘what ifs’ and ‘maybes’, but now, now I was face to face with the rat. She looked scared. She looked so afraid of what was about to happen to her, and I loved it. There was a single cut on her forehead which I assumed was from her being knocked out before being tied up in the room she was now being held prisoner. Looking at it made me smile and I could not wait.
“You have one chance. Only one chance.” I whispered in her ear, “You are going to die, so it doesn’t matter to you. But, it matters what happens to your family.” A single tear slid down her check and I took out her gag.
“I’m not tell you shit!” She shouted.
“Shame. And to think, I liked your husband. He’s always been so nice. Oh, and little Charlie gets on so well with Theo. I would hate to make her an orphan. I mean, how would poor Charlie cope wi…”
“OKAY!” She interrupted me and I knew that she was putty.
“So, Amy, who do you work for?”
“The FBI. They know that I’m here. They’re expecting an update from me after the party. If I don’t turn up, then you’ll be arrested.”
“But, how could they arrest me when I had nothing to do with it. You’re just a junkie who needed another dose, after already drinking too much, and recked her car. I can’t believe that I let someone like you near my son and daughter. And poor, Sean and Charlie. Life insurance doesn’t pay out for druggies. And all the gambling debt that you’ve accumulated, it’ll kill them.”
“You’re a monster.”
“No. I’m a mother. And I will kill whoever put my babies in the way of harm.”

I don’t know how, but I did it. I managed to get Tom to go and wait outside my parent’s house until I got out of the hospital. The doctors had told me that I wasn’t going to be long and I was not really bothered if I made him wait, anyways. My main focus was on making sure that my baby boy was safe and healthy.
I had been terrified when the doctors told me that I was in labour because he was not due for another two weeks. I thought that I had done something wrong. But I was so lucky, and he is fine. He is so beautiful and all mine. I dressed him up in a white all in one with little grey stars all over it as well as wrapping him up in a warm blanket. He was fast asleep in his car seat and I got ready to leave the hospital with him and my parents.
As we approached the car, I could tell that something felt off. I instinctively shouted, “GET DOWN!” and dropped to the floor. I covered the baby’s body with my own as gun shots rang out from all around me. The baby was now crying so I tried my hardest to sooth him and calm him down, but I was freaking out as well. Even once the shooting stopped, I stayed down. I didn’t move an inch and kept all of my focus on my baby. I could hear shouting all around me, but I knew that it would be safer to stay down for as long as possible. Nothing could have moved me.
I had been as silent as a mouse, until a pair of arms pulled me up and I screamed my lungs out. Until I was met with a familiar face. Harry Holland had wrapped his arms around me and was guiding me to the car. I kept the car seat in my hands, you wouldn’t have been able to take him from my cold dead hands. I turned to tell my parents that Harry was okay, but I couldn’t.
“Harry…” I tried to tell him, but the words would not come out of my mouth.
“Just don’t’ look. We can’t do anything. Our focus is on getting you two out of here.” Harry told me.
When I was sat in the back of the car which Sam was in, Harry took the car seat and plugged it in for me as I just started to cry. This was all my fault. I had put my son in danger and gotten my own parents killed in the process. I had thought that I was going to be able to do this, but I had no idea what I was going to do without my parents, they were meant to help me.
I could hear Harry and Sam talking with a muffled voice, but I couldn’t make out any of the words. However, a part of me knew exactly who they were talking to.
“Are you taking me to him?” I asked and the car went silent. Maybe they were unsure what I would do if they answered it, “Because I need you to take me to him.”
The drive to the house was long and silent. We stopped at a service station because I was starving and needed to eat and so did the baby. I had never seen the twins act more nervous then when I was feeding the baby and it kind of made me laugh. Harry and Sam were acting differently around me. I wasn’t sure if it was because I had just had a baby, or just had their brother’s baby or I had just lost both of my parents. I was also curious to know how they felt about everything. Because, from the way that Tom had acted earlier, Harrison had kept his word and kept my secret.
I was so grateful when we finally arrived at the house, but it looked vastly different to the one that I had grown used to.
“New house?” I asked
“Yeah. After everything that happened, Tom decided that it would be best to move.”
Sam offered to take the baby for me, but I told him that I needed to take him. As quickly as I could, I made the way from the car to the house. Harry and Sam took me to a room that had been set up for me and baby. As soon as I had got the baby settled, I got into bed and cried myself to sleep.
I was awoken by the sound of the baby crying, something that I was going to have to get use to. I gave him his breakfast while I went through everything that happened. I suddenly realised that I still had not named the baby.
There was a light knock on my door, and I held the baby close to me before I called out, “Who is it?”
“Tom” I heard his familiar voice call back to me.
I put him down in his cot and ran to the door. In a couple of seconds, I threw open the door and pulled Tom close to me. For a split second, his body stiffened up before he relaxed into it and wrapped his arms around me. The tears came flooding out again. I just felt so overwhelmed by everything and I had no idea what to do.
“I messed up,” I told him. “I thought that I was doing the best thing, now they’re dead.”
He let go of me, closed the door and sat me down on the bed, “You did what you thought was best. I can’t blame you for being scared and leaving. You never did anything wrong. You didn’t put yourself first, you put our baby first.”
I was shocked that he was so calm about everything. I thought that he was going to go mental, like he had in the hospital. Instead, he was so supportive and caring. Now, we were both looking over the cot to see the baby.
“Theo. His name is Theo. After my dad.”
“That is a beautiful name. Can I hold him?”
I nodded and Tom picked him up. Seeing them together- Tom and Theo- was like looking a puzzle which has just been completed. It was perfect and it was right. Moments like this made me wonder why I had ever left. But only for a second.

1/100
I decided to use lockdown as a way to increase my productivity. I need to try and do something everyday to help my mental health! Otherwise, I’ll slowly go mad.
Today, I cleaned the kitchen. We had had a street party yesterday (social distancing style) so there was a ton of washing up. I did all of the washing up in the house, cleaned out the fridge and sorted out all of the counters in the kitchen.
It’s really nice to walk into the kitchen and everything be very nice and organised how I like it…
What did you do today?

“I can’t stay here anymore, not after what happened.” I told Tom after I had gotten back to his house. Everything that had happened with his dad showed me how much danger I will always be in. While I don’t mind putting myself in danger to be with Tom, I couldn’t do that to a defenceless baby or child.
Tom turned to me and held my face in his hands, “What do you mean? You’ll be safe now. I’ve sorted everything out and you will be fine.”
I moved away from him while shaking my head, “You don’t get it.” I should have known that Tom would never let me go. What we have is strange, but it something real.
“What don’t I get?”
“As long as I am with you, I am at risk. I WILL end up getting hurt until I either resent you or I’m dead.” I winced at my own words and I apologised to him a million time, in my head. I had to hurt him, otherwise he would talk me out of leaving.
“Don’t say that.”
“It’s better if I leave now. While I still care about you and I’m alive.”
“You can’t do this?!”
“Then you keep me here and I end up dead.”
“GO THEN! JUST LEAVE!” Tom screamed from behind me.
I expected to jump at his words. To still be scared of him. But, I wasn’t so I left as quickly as I could. I had no idea where I was and no idea how to get home. I walked out of the driveway and sat on the sidewalk to try and pull myself together. I needed to figure out a plan of action.
“Was you going to leave without saying goodbye?” Harrison asked as he walked up to me.
I stood up to talk to him, “I’m sorry, I just had to leave.”
“I understand. Do you need a lift?”
I chucked at his question, “Maybe. I didn’t really think these things through.”
Harrison nodded before telling me that he was going to go grab the car. It did not take long for Harrison to come back around in the car and I got in. As much as I could trust Harrison and I loved him like family, I didn’t want him to know where I was going. He will always be loyal to Tom, they’re best friends. I decided to ask him to drop me off a 24-hour café where I would call my dad to come and pick me up.
As we stopped in the carpark of the café, I turned to get out. But, before I could do anything, Harrison locked the doors.
“Let me give you some money.” Harrison offered.
I turned to him and smiled, “I have some in my bag, I’ll be safe”
“You certainly don’t have enough money to sort out a baby.” My face dropped at his words; how did he know? Does Tom know? What do I do now? “Are you going to keep it?”
I trust Harrison so I thought that it would be easier to tell the truth, “I don’t know. Are you going to tell him?”
“That’s not my call.” We sat in silence for what felt like 100 years, but was less than a minute, “I can see why you are running away from him. I think that I probably would if I were in your shoes. Seeing as I know, can I drop you anywhere else that is not the dodgy little café?”
“I don’t want Tom to know anything. It’s easier.”
“(y/n), you do know that will never happen. He knows everyone, he knows everything. He knew everything about you before you moved in. He said that you two have a special connection that no one else would ever understand so he NEEDED to know more about you. So, no matter where you go, he will know. He loves you too much.”
“Then, can you do me a favour?” Harrison nodded, “Distract him. Try and help him not think about me and tell him that I’m planning on moving to another country.”
“Of course. Now, where should I drop you?”
“I’m guessing that you know where my parents live, right?”
The drive to my parents was long and awkward. My body was exhausted, but I couldn’t fall asleep. Not after what I had just been through. Protectively, my hand held my stomach where my little baby was. I had a decision to make and I had no idea what I was going to decide. Could I raise a baby by myself? No, of course not. But I do have my parents who I know will help me. The scariest thought was, what would Tom do? Would he be angry? Probably. Either way, I’m having his baby, but taking it away from him, or I’m not having his baby and he had no say.
Harrison rounded the corner to a familiar road. I was home. And, more importantly, I had made a decision. When the car stopped outside of my parents, I hugged Harrison goodbye and told him what I was going to do.
I was going to have a baby. Tom’s baby.

Promises {Chapter One}
“If you make a promise, you have to keep it. You can’t go back on one, because if you do, you have to flush your little finger down the toilet.”
There is nothing more sacred to Jasmine Dixon than a promise. When the world was destroyed and nothing was left, her promises became even more important to her and nothing would be able to stop her. All Jasmine wants to do is to be safe and, maybe try to, be happy.

AN: This is a story that I wrote about five years ago and I have tried to rewrite it to make sense but stuck to the central storyline that I created when I was 14. I hope that you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed finding it and rekindling my love for the walking dead. Please do tell me if you would be interested in reading more and if you would want to join the tag list for this story.

I was lying in bed, trying to get to sleep, but I couldn’t; something felt off and it was keeping me awake. Looking around my room to try and take my mind off of things, I could see the wallpaper slowly peeling itself away from the walls, yellowing as it made it’s escape for freedom. I had a set of drawers that were basically useless as one of them didn’t open at all while the others took so long to open, that they may as well not open at all either. It made sense to just leave the draws empty (apart from the few trapped items) and just use the top as a shelf. The rug beside my bed was stained with so many different things and half of them I couldn’t even guess as to what they were. But I kept it there so that when I got out of bed, my feet wouldn’t become frozen when they touched the floor. Next to me on my bed was the teddy bear that my mom put in m…
“GET UP!” I heard dad yell as he ran into my room.
“Why? What is it?” I asked as I sat up, wrapping my blanket around me, “What’s going on?”
“We’re leaving.” My uncle yelled from his room.
“Jas, sweetie, pack some stuff and get into the truck.” Dad ordered, “Be quick. We have to leave as soon as we can.”
I stumbled out of bed and grabbed a bag; I ransacked my wardrobe and threw in a range of clothes as I didn’t know where we were going. I also made sure to grab the spare blankets that I kept under my bed before placing my teddy on top. Once I was sure that I had everything important, I grabbed my bag and ran to the car in my pyjamas.
“Where are we going?” I asked as uncle Merle got into the car.
“We have to go on a little trip.” He answered, “We just have to wait for your dad.”
“Why do we have to leave?”
“Can you stop asking questions. We just have to!” Merle yelled.
“Hey! Leave her alone.” Dad said as he got into the drivers’ seat before starting the car, “She’s just scared and confused.”
“We both know that she is going to have to grow up.”
“She doesn’t. She is still a child and she is not going to change because of this.”
“We all are going to have to change, nothing is going to be the same.” Merle whispered.
“Are you okay, Jas?” Dad asked after a while and I nodded, “No matter what happens, you listen to me and Merle, okay?”
“Yes, daddy.” I answered, “I promise.”
I fell asleep, leaning on Merle, with my legs against my chest and my blanket covered all of my body. The car stopped with a sudden jolt which woke me up. As my hair was everywhere, I grabbed a hair band to tie my long blonde hair into a messy ponytail: I couldn’t be bothered to tie it up neatly and just wanted it out of my face.
“Where are we, now?” I asked. Without even looking at me, dad responded with “Atlanta.”
“Lil’ brother, do you see those people over there?” Merle asked, pointing at a group of people.
“We should go and see if they need anything!” I told dad.
“Or we could rob them…” Merle suggested.
“Dad! Please don’t do that.” I shouted, “We’re nice people.”
“Stay with your uncle.” Dad ordered as he got out of the car and walked over to the people.
“He’s going to leave you.” Merle told me, “He’ll drop you like a sack of potatoes!”
“No! He loves me…” I whispered.
Dad walked back over and jumped into the car, “There’s a group of people and they’re setting up camp, not far from here. We can join them, or we can just sit here, your choice.”
“Let’s go! Maybe they’re nice people and we’ll have a fun holiday.”
“Or maybe, they want to kill us in our sleep.” Merle whispered to try and frighten me.
“We’re joining them.” Dad told us.
Dad started driving again, he went off road and drove past the people he had been talking to. It was a long drive and I just sat there, fiddling with my thumbs while humming to myself, “Can we listen to the radio, please?”
“No, Jazzy, the music isn’t on at this time of night.” Dad answered and I could tell that something was wrong.
“Why couldn’t we go on holiday tomorrow? During the day, when the music is on.” I asked, curious as to why we had gone on a midnight drive.
“Because we’re not going on holiday.” Merle admitted after a couple moments of silence, “We left because there has been a really big emergency.”
“W-what?” I asked, terrified, “He’s lying, isn’t he daddy?”
“I’m sorry, Jas, but he’s not.” Dad finally told me after what felt like an eternity.
We all sat in silence after that. I thought of all the things that could’ve happened that would make my dad scared. I could tell that that he was trying not to show it, but it was clear to me that he was terrified. If this made the strongest person that I know scared, it must be terrible.
When a clearing come into view, I knew that this was where we had been driving to. We got out of the car, but I left my bags in case we needed to leave suddenly. I started to look around at the people who were introducing themselves to me. I wasn’t really paying attention to what they were saying, instead focusing on staying close to dad.
“Hi, I’m Carl.” A boy who was not much taller or older than me came over, “What’s your name?”
“I’m Jasmine, how old are you?”
“10, you?”
“I’m nearly 10.”
“Wanna be friends?” He asked, sheepishly.
“I don’t know if my dad would allow that,” I admitted.
He gave me a big smile and whispered, “Don’t worry. I promise that I won’t hurt you.”
“Do you want to play a game with us?” Sophia asked.
“Yeah.” I replied sarcastically, “Because a game is a great idea, let’s all play a fun little game called survival.”
“You don’t have to be so mean!” Sophia yelled as she walked away with Carl.
I immediately regretted not saying yes. It was actually fun to play with them, well it looked fun. I never actually played any of their games. Even before the apocalypse, this would happen as I always played by myself. I wasn’t allowed to talk to the other children, but even if I had been allowed, they were too scared of daddy and Merle, so they tried to avoid me. At least, no one ever tried to mess with me. I was snapped back into reality when I heard the radio which everyone was no crowded around as we all tried to listen. I didn’t move from my spot on the floor. The adults started talking about the roads and signs, so I zoned out again because they never said anything that concerned me. I’m the youngest so they basically let me do what I want, as long as I don’t wonder too far.
I was searching the forest, looking for berries and other stuff when I heard moaning, but it was a weird kind of moaning and not the same as the usual geek moans. I followed he sound, and I saw something that will scar me for life: Shane and Lori doing the dirty. I gasped but covered my mouth and walked away. If Shane saw me, he would go mad. Not only did I find out about his little secret, but I was definitely too far away from camp. I started running back to camp when I tripped over. I went to get back up, but there was a geek right next to me. I screamed and tried to move away from it.
“HELP!” I yelled at the top of my voice.
I was petrified. This was the first time that I’ve seen a geek up close. The walker grabbed my leg, so I kicked it in the face. When I looked up, I saw Dale running over to me before he shot it. I ran and hugged him as he put his arm around me and led me back to camp. He stroked my hair and started telling me off for going out on my own, but none of it was going in.

Should Have Known {Chapter One}
Everyone wants to escape from their life, the mundane and the ordinary. That happened to (y/n) when a mob boss became infatuated with her and wants to get involved in her life, turning everything that she has ever known upside down.
Turning to Tom Holland, the mob boss, for safety did not work out. Will (y/n) go back or will she attempt to look after not only herself, but their child.
Word Count: 557
Warnings: swearing, hospitals
AN: So this is a little shorter than usual, but I just wanted to put this out and get everyone ready for the sequal. Obviously, my schedule is a lot clearer at the moement, so I plan on writting more. Hope you enjoy this and sorry for the long wait. If you wish to join the tag list, just message and I’ll add ya.
Quickly, I sat up in the middle of the night. Excruciating pain radiating throughout my body and I shouted for help. Just as soon as I shouted, my mum and dad came running into my bedroom and straight to my bed.
“Something is wrong, everything hurts.” I cried to them as my mum pulled me into a hug.
My parents looked at each other and before my dad got up off my bed, “Honey, can you get the car ready? I’ll carry (y/n) to the car.”
“Of course.” My mum started running around the room, while my dad picked me up as carefully as he could and carried me to the car.
As I sat in the backseat of the car, clutching my stomach. My father both tried to get to the hospital as fast as he could, but while still ensuring that the journey did not cause me too much pain.
Sitting in the dining room, my men and I were talking about how we were going to make sure that no one is ever able to infiltrate us again. After everything that happened with Dom, I realised that I couldn’t trust anyone. People will always let me down. People will always leave you. Unless you had power. The whole situation meant that I finally understood why I needed to gain more power and money.
Suddenly, a man ran into the room and everyone turned their guns on him. I looked up and realised who it was. Waving my hand, all of my men put down their guns.
“Give me a moment, I’ll be back.” I told everyone as I got up.
As I stood up, I sorted my suit jacket and walked out of the room which the man who had just ran in. Once we were outside, I signalled for him to start talking.
“It’s (y/n).” He started, “Her parents have taken her to hospital.”
At this news, I just walked out of the house and straight to my car. Speeding down the roads, I made my way to the closest hospital to (y/n)’s house as fear filled me. When I was about half-way to the hospital, I received a call from Harrison.
“Where the FUCK are you?” Harrison yelled.
Taking a deep breath, I told him, “(Y/n) is in the hospital. I don’t know why. I just need to make sure that she is okay.”
“Keep me updated, I’ll look after everything on this end.”
“I don’t know what I would do without you.”
“Not be a mob boss.”
I arrived at the hospital not long after my conversation with Harrison. After parking my car, I went to a reception desk and asked about (y/n) (y/l/n). Originally, they told me that they could not give out patient information to anyone but family. It didn’t take much to persuade them otherwise- just a couple of hundreds.
The maternity ward. That is the last place that I would ever expect (y/n) to be. Why would she be there? Don’t you only go there was one reason? Does this mean what I think it means? As quickly as I could, I made my way to her room.
Her mother opened the door and I pushed my way past her into the room. Looking at the bed, I could see (y/n). And a baby wrapped in blankets.

Untitled Writing
I am drowning. I don’t know what in and I don’t know how I’ve gotten to this point, but I am. Maybe, just maybe, it is all in my head. It’s definitely all in my head- I can hear the voices shouting at each other really loudly.
They are telling me that it’s not worth it anymore. Life isn’t worth living. I’m not worth keeping alive. I don’t worthy to be at university because I am faking it. I deserve to be in pain. I deserve to have no friends because I am a bad person. Not always these exact words, but always these messages.
I know not to listen. Sometimes I have taken small actions. Things to remind myself that I am still alive because this doesn’t feel real. None of this feels real to me. Why should it? I’m not truly living my life. Another person is. She looks exactly like me, but she smiles more. She sounds exactly like me, but she laughs more. But the same thoughts are going through her head.
When I am with people, I don’t feel like I am actually around people. I am both there and far away. If they laugh enough then they must hate me. If they laugh too much then they are laughing at me.
You may think “what has brought this out? Why is this so depressing?”. I have an answer for you, dear reader, but you may not like it. I certainly don’t.
I was happy. I had gotten everything that I wanted for Christmas. I have so much to look forward to- holiday, friends, theatre, a boyfriend. But the nagging came back and it all came at once. I was not ready, but I never am. I have no one to turn to and I don’t believe that will change.
But I am a believer. Not in religion- though I did ask the higher-ups for a sign as I am desperate. I am a believer in the healing power of the written word. Getting feelings out is powerful. I hope that someone will read this and feel what I have felt while writing- pain and pride.

Little Did I Know {Chapter Twelve}
Summary: While working in a local café, a mysterious man comes to your rescue. How will this end? Not very well. You should know that, but it would never stop you. Tom Holland x Reader
Word Count: 1580
Warnings: violence, swearing, pregnancy, guns
AN: This is the end of Little Did I Know, but it is not the end this story at the same time. I may continue this saga in a new story called ‘Should Have Guessed’, so stay tuned to see if that happens. I will be going on a little Tom Holland hiatious.
Previous | Sequal Chapter One
When I woke up, I was laying on a sofa in a small living room with a blanket over me. Slowly, I got up and started walking around the room. As I looked around the room, I saw that there were many photos of a family. Picking one up, I saw two parents and four boys who all looked so loving and normal. I would never of thought that the eldest would become the head of the London mafia, but he looked adorable no matter what the outcome of his life would be.
“That one was taken four years ago.” A woman said.
I quickly put the photo down and turner around to see the woman from the photo, “I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to intrude.”
“It’s fine, don’t you worry.” She laughed as she walked over to me, “I’m Nikki, Tom’s mum.”
“I’m (y/n), Tom’s…” I had to stop and think about what I was to Tom. Friends? But with benefits. Were we together? I had no idea how to finish the sentence, so I went with the safe option, “friend.”
“I know that he likes you. A lot.” Nikki smiled to me, before picking up another photo frame. “He wouldn’t have brought you to the safe house. He would just have some guard look after you or sent you to a different place away from his family.”
“She is right.” Tom’s voice came from behind me.
“I’ll give you two some space” Nikki smirked at us as she left the room.
Tom took my hands and sat me on the sofa before sitting next to me. Holding my hands, circling his thumb over the back of my hand. Tom was just looking deep into my eyes and I could tell that the next thing to come out of his mouth was not going to be a good thing.
“Please don’t draw this out.” I leaned forward so that my head was on his shoulder, “Just tell me what you are going to say.”
“I can’t stay.” He whispered into my ear.
“Why?”
“I need to make sure that you are safe from now on. That can’t happen if the person threatening you is still out there. As soon as I find this person and take care of the situation everything will be okay. All I care about is ensuring that you and Paddy are safe. If you don’t want me to leave for you, let me leave for Paddy.”
As bad as I felt, I muttered into his ear, “I love you, please don’t go.”
Tom gave me a kiss on the forehead before he got up and walked out of the room. He stopped in the doorway and looked at me, “My mum and dad will look after you.”
Tom left the room and I started crying because as much as I understood why he was leaving; I did not want him to leave me alone. I grabbed the blanket that was on me before and laid back down.
“Paddy, leave her alone!” I heard Nikki whisper shout.
I opened my eyes and screamed as I saw a boy’s face right in front of me. When I looked at him again, I realised that he must be Tom’s little brother as he just looked like a younger version of him. I quickly sat up from where I was laying on the sofa.
“Hi, I’m Paddy.” He introduced himself.
I smiled at him, “I’m (y/n).”
“I cannot believe that Tom didn’t take you to your room before he left.” A man said as he walked past the living room door. I could instantly tell that he was Tom’s dad from all of the photos.
We all ate breakfast together, which was kind of weird as I didn’t really know any of them and we were all acting as if this was a daily occurrence. I was unsure of how I should act around them. Like how do you act around the parents and younger brother of the boy that you have had sex with when he is not around.
I tried to create normal conversation with Nikki and Dom, who were both incredibly nice. They way they acted with Paddy made me question how they could have made three children who are in the mafia. It is just hard to imagine what kind of childhood they must have had as before, I easily thought that they would have had a hard childhood with parents that were mean. I could not have thought anything further from the truth.
After dinner, I was sitting in my temporary room thinking about what was going on. All that I wanted was to see Tom again, cause even if it had only been a day, it was starting to feel like a lifetime. I went through my bag and opened the little box to read what it said.
Reading the test, the word ‘PREGNANT’ was large and clear.
My heart was filled with fear, anxiety and a little bit of excitement. It felt wrong to be happy, because nothing was right in the world. I had nothing and was currently being hunted by people in the mob. While, the baby daddy (Tom) was the head of a mob and we were not even together. We had never even spoken about if we wanted to be together. But I was excited because there was life inside of me and I really wanted to become a mum someday (even if that day was sooner than I thought).
There was a knock on my door, so I quickly put the box away again before going to open my door. As I opened the door, I was suddenly hit in the face by the unknown guest.
When I regained consciousness, I was tied to a chair and blindfolded. Immediately, I started screaming at the top of my lungs.
“Please stop screaming!” Dom shouted at me.
“Dom? Is that you?” I asked, panicked, “What is going on?”
“Yes, it is me, (y/n)” He pulled off my blindfold.
“Can you help me out of this before they come back?”
“’They come back’. I am the one who is doing this.” Dom laughed, “I don’t think that you understand. See, this is my town, I’m in charge and that means I get to do what I want.”
“Do what you want? What the hell are you talking about?”
Dom leaned forward and grabbed my face, “Tom thinks that he is the one in charge, just because he is the figure head of the mob. I did all of the work; I was the one who gained all of the power that Tom thinks that he has.” After this, he let go of my face and walked away from me.
“Why are you doing this to me?”
“Tom cares about you and I need to show him that he is not invincible.” Before I knew what was happening, Dom walked back over and punched me in the face. It was so hard that the whole chair went backwards, and the back of my head smashed into the floor, “Love makes you weak and I need my mob to be strong.”
I could hear laughing go further away from me as a door opened and closed. I could tell that I was alone, but all that I cared about was going to sleep as I was incredibly tired. As much as I wanted to go to sleep, I thought that it would not be the best idea, so I tried my hardest to stay awake, unsuccessfully.
When I woke up again, I could hear grunting and punches. Opening my eyes, I could see two figures fighting. I could feel dried blood on my face, while my hair was soaking in warm blood that was not mine. As a masked man grabbed my knees and pulled me upwards, I should have known that nothing good was going to happen because as soon as I was upright, I was punched in the face again.
I closed my eyes and just braced myself for whatever was going to happen. I covered my mouth and muffled a small cry, smearing blood over my face in the process. The smell of metal ensnared me. Tears rolled down my face.
Everything in the last 48 hours changed ever so much. I had no idea what was happening anymore, and I was terrified about if I was ever going to have a future at all. I’ve gone from being in a home invasion, to being put in a safe house to finding out that I am pregnant to being held hostage by my baby daddy’s dad. But at this moment in time, I have no idea if I am even still pregnant.
BANG!
The door came down and Tom was standing there. Without a moment’s hesitation, he shot the man that had been hitting me. The man fell right in front of me and I had some of his blood over me, bring the amount of people’s blood that I had on me to three.
“(y/n), are you okay?” Tom asked as he was cutting the ropes off of me.
“I am now that you are here.” I told him as I pulled him into a hug. “Tom, it was your dad.”
I started crying really hard. Tom just rubbed my hair as I cried into his shirt before he picked me up and took me out the room.
