The best radish i ever had was when i worked at an organic farm in ontario and my coworker who was a 60 year old man who had been my brother’s childhood hockey coach picked a radish out of the soil, rinsed it off with a hose and gave it to me and said “try it” and it was cold and crisp and so spicy it made my eyes water and gave me a jolt of energy like an espresso shot
