⚠️ IMPORTANT WARNING FOR VETERAN AND NEW ARTISTS ALIKE ⚠️

Hey friends! Just dropping a quick warning:

Recently, I was contacted by someone pretending to be a buyer. They asked for a commission — a few portraits of their daughter — and everything seemed normal at first. The messages were formal, and it felt like a typical commission process.

But things got weird when we talked about payment. I explained my usual methods to ensure a fair and safe transaction for both of us. The “buyer” rushed things and insisted on paying right away, which didn’t seem unusual at first — I’ve had clients who want to pay in full upfront before.

Then, they claimed to have sent $500 USD through PayPal… but said I needed to “upgrade my account to a Business Account” by paying $300 USD in order to receive the money.

🚨 This is a 100% SCAM.

I checked my actual PayPal account — there was no payment received or pending.

PayPal does NOT charge fees or upgrades to receive money.

The email they sent looked official but was a fake.

‼️ Please stay alert, artists!

Always check your real PayPal account directly before trusting any email.

If someone says you have to pay to receive a payment, that’s a major red flag.

Block, report, and stay safe.

What are the stories behind Tahik and Ata’ro? Do you have fanfics about them? Your art is gorgeous btw!

Hi! Yes, they definitely have their own stories. ^^

Although I’d go on for a while if I explained all the lore I’ve created for Tahik, I can say this: Tahik’a is the daughter of Tonantzin (the Tsahik) and Acatl (the Olo’eyktan) of the Uxkayina clan — a Na’vi community adapted to both the sea and the jungle. This clan has its own spiritual selection system, where sacred creatures choose their leaders, and their Sacred Tree is hidden within a cenote lined with obsidian and jade.

As for Ata’ro, her story loosely follows the original game Frontiers of Pandora, with a few changes — like her preference for staying with the Aranahe and her playful friendship with Eetu and Teylan. I’m planning a comic to tell her story from Ata’ro’s perspective.

I don’t have any fanfics… well, I’ve done roleplays with a friend, but we’ve never formally written anything haha.
