A couple of things that stand out to me in Varang's poster; the first is the ritual scarification. It looks so cool, and I'm super curious as to if we'll get an in-universe explanation for it! The second, and first thing I noticed, is that Varang's earrings appear to be metal.

This is a major deal that falls in with what we know about the Mangkwan, principally that they reject Eywa. One of Eywa's 3 rules is that "metals of the earth" cannot be used. In "The High Ground" we're shown that in order to touch guns/any metal, you have to go through an intense purification ritual. (Seriously, the ritual Jake puts himself through almost kinda makes me sick). Furthermore, Jake elaborates and says about guns: "...The People believe their poison seeps into the heart. Pain of the flesh reminds us that every round we fire takes a bite from our soul." What does this tell us about Varang's soul, if she decorates herself with the thing most Na'vi abhor?
