Jean Grey/Phoenix

Inspired more by the White Phoenix of the Crown, this was a 'goddess' idea I had, but would also work for the Hellfire Gala or something like that. If anyone would like to use this design or edit it, please feel free!

A collection of Jean Grey sketches from one of my costume modules last year, imagining a 1960s X-Men TV show, where I designed different outfits for the original 5 X-Men (inc. Scarlet Witch and Magneto).

Costumes were inspired by fashion designers and other TV shows from the time (Star Trek, Pierre Cardin, Mary Quant, etc.)

My casting for Marvel Girl was Sherry Jackson. So close-up face studies are inspired by her likeness.

A couple of old-ish Anne Boleyn watercolours, was just a test and they got a bit messed up. Also used watercolours and fine liners for a couple of the details.
