unfortunately you can’t save everyone. can’t save every woman. some of them are not interested in the betterment of themselves or other women and you’ll literally just have to leave them where they are 😕 and that just makes me sad

If I’m being honest, one of the things that attracted me to radical feminism was the nuance between acknowledging that while yes, women have been socialized in a patriarchal/male supremacist society, women as individuals are still responsible for their own behavior. Acknowledging this fact doesn’t mean that one is now a misogynist or is excusing men for their behaviour.
This idea that a women can never be critiqued for anything is a liberal/choice feminist way of thinking, we constantly talk about the idea that any choice that is rooted in misogyny can not be feminist. We understand that women are on the losing end in the patriarchy but we also know that women uphold the very thing subjugating them as well. So why is this way of thinking now permeating into radblr? Aren’t we supposed to be against the infantalization of women and supporting the idea that women are in fact adults and not children?
It’s almost like this ‘girls girls’ mentality ( which is actually just a bunch of women lying and coddling each other ) is now making its way over here and now nuance is becoming dead. Women will never gain class consciousness if the women who are honest are being silenced.
I’m not a ‘doomer’ or ‘black pill’ just for stating these observations, I still choose to hold optimism/love in my heart for women at the end of the day because I do want women to be liberated and free but we can’t do that if we are living in la la land🤷🏾‍♀️

“but being a sex worker is the same thing as working as a waitress”
does a waitress have to worry about getting stds from men everyday?
does a waitress have to worry about getting pregnant?
is a waitress expected to have sex with multiple strangers everyday?
is a waitress expected to have sex with men who can and will cause her physical harm?
this is such an americanized and privileged take and view on prostitution. no your shitty retail job with a boss who’s slightly mean to you will never be on the same level as what prostituted women have to go through everyday

pluverapickles has posted detailed fantasies about enslaving and raping and mutilating little boys. it's all over her page, just look. she also has harassed women while pretending to be trans, saying stuff like "you are so rape-able" and "you are of such a rape-ish height" and asking people if their nether regions tore while being raped; her goal was to harm the optics of trans people by pretending to be one of them while saying all this heinous shit. she is psychotic and pedophilic. please can someone bring some kind of attention to this, anyone. she is fucking sick in the head. she was asked if she was "just being ironic" and she said that she's not being ironic, she genuinely believes male children should be raped and enslaved. she also calls black women misogynistic slurs and says hideous shit about women. she is a horrific repulsive person & not any kind of feminist at all, just a hateful pedophilic rape apologist.
I don't know how much attention this post can get, but it seems that many of what anon said here is right. This is the detailed fantasy @pluverapickles have about boys.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The whole thread is very messed up, she basically said she stands with female child molester. There were very few people in the notes calling out this behaviour. There is also another post where she clearly said "force them (men) to perform pedophilic rituals" as a way to break the patriarchy.
Tumblr media
Now, I can't find the prove for claims that she pretended to be trans to harass women but I found disturbing things she said toward trans people. Undermining rape against trans men.
Tumblr media
This is her response toward being called out for wanting to stone trans people to death.
Tumblr media
Even if you don't care about trans people, I think wishing harm/violent scenarios against another marginalised group is not okay. With the kind of trans hate she confidently post on her blog, I don't think anon's claim about her trying to harm the optics of trans people is completely unfounded. Other things I found on her blog.
This is what she said about Megan Thee Stallion.
Tumblr media
Calling rape against black men.
Tumblr media
Using slurs that are also weaponised against women, and clearly stating she doesn't care about intersectionality.
Tumblr media
Fortunately in this post there were some meaningful pushback against the use of slurs. Playing the "asians are effeminate and submissive" stereotype in this particular post.
Tumblr media
I'm sure you can find more if you look at her blog. I understand reblogging a post from someone doesn't mean we endorse everything that person ever said. But we shouldn't allow a pedophile and rape apologist to claim to be part of radical feminism.

“terfbreaking” “dykebreaking” “ddlg” “ageplay” etc. idc if im a “puritan bitch” but i don’t like kinks where women are getting slapped around and harmed for the sexual gratification of a man. what is so sexually arousing about the idea of sexually harming a woman to you? what is so exciting about the idea of raping a woman/girl? why do you get off on the idea of it?

“why did she do this? why didn’t she do that?”
here’s some better questions:
why did he do it?
why did he hit her?
why are you trying to justify her abuse?
it’s always the woman’s fault to these people and it’s sickening goddamn.
halle, megan, cassie, rihanna— time and time again a man does something appalling to a woman and everyone defends it, and especially when they’re black women.
everything bad in a woman’s life is always her fault but men get coddled because he had a bad childhood, he’s mentally ill, blah blah. don’t you get tired?

MEXICO CITY (AP) — Two days before her new album was launched, musical icon Vivir Quintana was behind barbed wire at a women’s prison in Mexico. The singer had spent the past 10 years visiting women incarcerated after defending themselves and, in doing so, killing their abusers.
Their stories became part of “Cosas que Sorprenden a la Audiencia” (Things that Surprise the Audience), Quintana’s latest album, released Thursday.
It tells the story of 10 such women but in a first, Quintana does it through “corridos,” a typically male-dominated and controversial Mexican music genre that’s soared into the spotlight in recent years...Quintana’s corridos turn the genre on its head, paying tribute not to violence or criminals, but to women who have been criminalized for defending themselves.
[...]
The songs are meant to raise awareness about soaring levels of violence against women across Latin America — human rights groups estimate that an average of 10 women are killed in Mexico every day — and a justice system that many believe protects abusers and silences women’s voices.
In many cases, women like the ones in Quintana’s corridos are charged with “excessive legitimate self-defense,” charges that have fueled outrage among many in Mexico.
[...]
With each song, Quintana would follow local news reports, interview the women in prisons and spend time with their families, hoping to capture their personalities — and not just the violent act that transformed their lives.
“It’s something painful that the state tells you that if you defend yourself, we’re going to punish you,” Quintana said. “It’s like up until what point do we care about women’s life?”

quite honestly, idrc who identifies as what. “gender is a social construct” cool you can claim to be anything under the sun. ur biology isn’t gonna change though (and that’s i think what a lot of ppl miss, and i did too). sex based oppression is real and if you can’t admit that, then idk where the hell you’ve been your whole life ?!

i saw a post along these lines many years ago and i haven’t seen it since, but i'd like to discuss it, so i’ll bring it back.
“trans women are women just like black women are women! it’s just a descriptive word!” if a black woman wasnt black, she would still be a woman. if a disabled woman was no longer disabled, she would still be a woman. if a gay woman decided she wasn’t gay, she would still be a woman. if a trans woman wasn’t trans… he would be a man. that’s the difference.
this was one of the first things i saw when i peaked, so I've considered it a lot, and there’s a distinction to be made based on what can realistically happen (a gay woman deciding she’s straight) vs what can only really magically happen (a black woman becoming white). far as I've considered, anything which can only “magically” happen, is an observable reality, not an identity or feeling etc. identity and feeling descriptors can change simply by changing the identity or feeling. (do consider: not vice versa. magical = reality-based, reality-based ≠ magical, e.g. disabled is an observable reality, but does not necessarily need a magical solution (depending on the disability))
trans people may argue “no, if a trans woman wasn’t trans, she would be a cis woman.” but that is a “magical” change. suddenly the past changing so “she” was instead born female. this entirely breaks the previously discussed rule about any “magical” occurrences being based on observable reality, being the case regardless of the identity or decisions of the person. a trans identity… is just that. an identity. therefore there shouldn’t need to be this “magical” solution to occur in order for the rule to be true. it would become true based on a change in identity, not observable reality and without literally breaking the rules of time and space. if a male with a trans identity changes that identity, he’s just a male.
