Socioeconomic development of countries over time using Gapminder Dataset:

1. The sample dataset is the about the study of socioeconomic development of countries around the world. It includes data for over 170 countries from 1950 to 2017, encompassing a wide range of geographic regions and diverse levels of development.  The data provided on countries level. There are 1704 data entries from year 1952 to 2007 country wise. The data helps in studying life expectancy, GDP per capita, population over the time.

2. The dataset was aggregated from various sources through data reporting like WHO, world bank, Human Development Index  etc. The purpose of this data collection was to monitor global development. Data collection involves a mix of methods used by the various contributing sources like surveys, administrative records, censuses. The dataset spans from 1950 to 2017 where some countries have more complete data over the entire period, while others have missing data points in certain years.

3. The higher GDP usually corresponds to a higher life expectancy. Life expectancy is longer in developed countries. And in developed and developing countries the chances of death between 15 - 60 yrs of age increases and the life expectancy decreases.
