“you ready, em?” kadie called into the apartment as she stood outside in the hallway. she tried to peer inside to maybe a catch a glimpse of what was taking the girl so long, but only heard her slightly frantic shuffling. but kadie had always been a patient person, so she simply glanced down at her own bags to distract herself. unzipping the bag, she tilted her head at the contents inside. “you think four pairs of underwear is enough?” she wondered loudly.

CHAUHAN, FARHAN:

farhan could recognize the smile plastered on kadie’s features; causing the older male to gave out a dry scoff, soon leaning forwards from the seat he had spent minutes lazily melting into. “spill it,” he started, an equally mischievous grin growing on the tip of his lips showing nothing but interest. “what are you up to this time monroe?” was all that he needed to ask; his tone keeping low for not only the blonde’s sake but his.

kadie couldn’t help the lopsided grin that her face had broken into, her expression exuding nothing but mischief and smugness. “spill what?” she echoed, giving her voice an airy and innocent as she tilted her head at him, brown eyes widening in question. she stuck her bottom lip out at farhan and slightly knitted her brows together, “i’m not up to anything,” she shrugged. “but buy me a coffee and i might change my mind,” the blonde added quickly with a wink.

FISCHER, KAIOS:

the local coffee shop’s become some kind of a sanctuary for the raven. not only did it produce some of the best coffee that he’s ever tasted, but it also offered him something that he wasn’t able to get back at work or even at home: peace and quiet. with a few sheets of paper spread out of the table in front of him, he leans forward to drags his pen along the printed blood results, his hazel optics remaining fixed on the long list of numbers that were covering most of the documents. in fact, he doesn’t even look up to acknowledge the other’s presence. instead, he simply just nods and continues to scribble away. “ you been running or something ? you sound like you’re out of breath. ”

kadie was a little surprised by the male’s less than nonchalant response, but don’t mistake her confusion for complaining. the less questions that were asked the better. not that she minded the questions, she found them actually quite fun to answer, it just meant less work for her. “yeah, or something,” she smiled with a shrug, the adrenaline still rushing through her but she maintained her composure. “if you don’t mind me asking, whatcha working on? looks..” kadie twisted her head the give the multitude of papers a quick look over and furrowed her brows together slightly, “.. interesting..” she hummed as she tried to make sense of what was in front of her.

O’DONNELL, SALEM:

Salem glanced up from the book he’d been reading, startled by the sudden interruption. “Oh, no problem, lass. Seat’s free,” he said, sitting up straighter and running a hand through his hair. “This land is your land. This land is my land. All that.”

Kadie gave a small laugh. “Why thank you, how very American of you,” she joked with a small nod of her had. “So, whatcha reading?” The blonde questioned, raising a brow as she craned her neck to get a slightly better view of the cover, “anything good?”

sloane looked over at the other girl as she spoke, nodding in understanding. they’re just eggs, she reminded herself. taking a deep breath, sloane put her face in her hands, taking away some of the flour. “i’m not a housewife, but it certainly was a nightmare,” she joked, looking on the bright side of the situation. “eggs, but i mean, i can easily run down to the store. no biggie.”

“why run down to the store when my place is only two floors up ? just saying, i think my solution’s even less of a biggie,” kadie gave the girl a playful smile. just in time, the elevator doors opened with a ding and the blonde took a step inside, a finger reaching out to press the ninth floor button. she held a hand over the doors and raised an eyebrow at her, “well, you coming ? ”

SHAFIR, LUX:

lux glanced up from her phone, raising a brow although a smile rested on her lips. “you know, when people ask, they usually wait to do the thing they’re wanting permission for. but sure, be my guest.” she shifted in her seat before clicking off her phone and turning to kadie. “so, what do you need me for ? running away from a bad date ? killed a man ?”

“ah well, usual is boring, don’t ya think ? ” she grinned, a mischievous hint in her eyes. kadie let out a sigh of relief at the lux’s decision to go along with it but quickly passed it off as a scoff, “is killing my date an option ? ” she wondered in a joking manner. “i swear, from now on, no more blind dates. i should’ve known from the start it was gonna end badly i mean, this guy walked in in a pair of camo cargo shorts, can you believe it ? ” kadie raised her brows and shook her head in pretend disbelief.

ridding herself of the cheap hoodie, kadie tossed the garment of clothing in a nearby garbage can and sped up her pace a little. the blonde swiftly manoeuvred her way down the sidewalk before making a sharp turn into a coffee shop at her right. and without even looking she took up a random seat beside a stranger and put on a wide smile. “hi,” she greeted a little breathlessly. “sorry for interrupting, i hope you don’t mind me sitting here. i won’t be long, promise.”

PETROVA, PETER:

Arms full of groceries, Wolf slowly maneuvered his way around so he could fit all four bags in his arms as well as his large form through the doorway to the apartment building. He was rather coordinated for someone who had a rather broad set of shoulders, but still managed to kick his toe as he tried to close the door without slamming, “глупая дверь… Никто не просил вас закрыть. глупо место, чтобы поставить дверь, если вы спросите меня. [Stupid door… Nobody asked you to close. silly place to put the door, if you ask me].” Wolf grumbled under his breath, turning to head toward the elevators. 

Kadie had been waiting at the elevator doors when she heard a small commotion behind her and spotted a man slightly struggling with a door and an arm full of groceries. As he neared, she offered a friendly smile and couldn’t help the small laugh that escaped her lips, “need some help with that?” She asked, tilting her head slightly at the male.

“oh no, oh no, oh no.” sloane muttered, frantically pressing the button to the elevator, british accent still poking through her words. “i cannot believe i forgot to get eggs,” she rubbed her face, only making matters worse by spreading flour across her cheek. she pushed the elevator button frantically. “oh, come on. any other time you would be here by now,” she scolded the elevator, folding her arms across her chest. 

kadie came up to wait for the elevator alongside a woman who obviously was having a rough day. furrowing her eyebrows together in concern, she took a step towards her and tilted her head at the young woman. “hey, relax. you look like you just came from a housewife’s nightmare,” kadie gave a soft laugh. “you said you needed eggs or something? i got some at my place if you want them.” she offered with a raised eyebrow.

i’m not the only one who just saw carlson young walk by, right ? oh, wait, that was kadie munroe. i don’t know much about them besides that they’re twenty-six years old and moved into golden horizons one year ago. everyone calls them the halcyon because they’re childish and idealistic, but also compassionate and outgoing. i’ve also heard she is currently a con-artist and identifies as female.

her earlier years im still kind of ?? figuring out w another member but its tragic ok .. this could change but so far her parents died when she was 9 in a car accident and she was put into foster care. she had a rough time there honestly and wasnt adopted until she was 14

she just kept bouncing around but was thankfully finally adopted by a rlly nice n cute but more elderly couple !! so think like late 40s early 50s

growing up kadie was a very nice and outgoing girl and still is !! but some people found her a little weird cause she was huge dork yanno all about school and always had her nose in a book and she just learned so much by herself that she was always spouting off these random facts and always rambling about god knows what and people were always like ??? u ok ??? slow down ?? what r u even talking about..

and sometimes she’d get picked on but nothing too intense. and it never discouraged her either. her adoptive parents were always so positive and supportive and taught her to just brush it off and don’t let it affect u and to just keep going

kadie also had a passion for art growing up but ended up going to med school to become a surgeon cause yanno she just thought it was better in the long run but it wasnt too bad cause yanno she hearts science too smh what a nerd

but halfway thru med school ?? she got into some business w more shady people who got her involved in this con and her job was to forge this painting so they could sell it

and after that ?? kadie just loved the experience honestly,, the rush of it all plus she got a big share of the profits and she finished med school bUT didn’t do her residency so she didnt end up becoming a surgeon

over the years shes just become a full blown con artist and just living the high life honestmeme ,, she’s still the same super nice, friendly, dorky girl tho like she hasn’t let the life hardened her in any way bUT her morals are lowkey a lil skewed now

yanno she lives like every day is the weekend and always going 2 partys, getting drunk/high, etc. cause life is good when u got 0 responsibilities lbr

some people see her yanno a girl w no job but w all these nice things and they just assume shes a sugar baby or smth and lol she’ll prob just let them think that cause hey its a good cover so why not
