i was very sad and disappointed to learn that there's not really a significant community for jet lag here on tumblr. i feel like silly youtube guys is right up tumblr's alley but it hasn't really taken off in the way that i would expect
so i'm making it my mission to essentially be as annoying as i can about jet lag until i convince other people to engage with the community more and hopefully we can create more awareness for their channel to get them the recognition they deserve
so if you're a fan of jet lag the game please reblog this post so we can grow our community
i'm going to try to post in the tag several times a day to maybe bring it to life a bit more
also if you do want to share something about jet lag but are too scared to make your own post feel free to send me as many asks as you want so that i can post them

me: i wish i could turn off certain mobs. i’d love to play more survival mode but the spiders really upset me :(
my dad, the most stoic person in existence, LEAPING out of his chair with great concern: I AM NOW OBSESSED WITH THIS PROBLEM. I WILL PROCEED TO SPEND THE NEXT MONTH SCOURING THE INTERNET FOR NICHE MODS OR CONSOLE COMMANDS IN HOPES I CAN BRING YOU AND THE ENTIRE MINECRAFT PLAYERBASE PEACE.
my dad, a week later, more distraught than i’ve ever seen: brittany it’s awful. i’ve been googling around for solutions to your spider problem and lots of little kids have asked for help on the same issue and people online were Mean to them. i cannot type fast enough to stop all of them. this is a crisis right now

I have started making these posters of my favourite lyrics on canva and thought it would be cool to share them on here. This first one is lyrics from the song "Blame the Moon" by Hazlett. Credit to Ecem_Camilla for the artwork

Books I read this week
Nest by Inga Simpson:
This book was such a comforting book to read. I love birds and while I don't know much about Australian birds it was cool to try and imagine them based off the descriptions in the book and then Google them after and compare. I would have liked to find out more about the missing people. I find with stories like this they do drag on for a while and then cram at the end so try and resolve all that has been building throughout the novel, whereas i would prefer a long ending.
Now is not the time to panic by Kevin Wilson: this was my favourite book of the week. I loved the characters, I loved the story. A great balance between the past and present. I appreciated how the character of Zeke was one of those characters that wasn't bad but was far from perfect if that makes sense. All the characters had flaws in a way that felt real.
Where the trees were by Inga Simpson:
I haven't finished this yet but so far I am enjoying it more than nest. A common theme I am finding with the books I chose this week is the going back and forth between events in the past and current which I am enjoying because it kind of makes me think of how all the stuff in my life is helping make me who I am and will shape who I am in the future and how you get choice in how you react to life's challenges

Although it doesn't
Sound the best
The rainy days
The beach is wet
The sand clinging to your shoes
However cold
However wet
The rain will free you
Although my glasses
Are shocking wet
I cannot see
Two feet ahead
The rainy beach
Frees my soul
Let's me open up
My mind to my troubles
Let's me think all my thoughts
My troubles don't melt with the rain
The rain lets them float
So I can see them
So I won't drown.
(froggy-444)

Hi, welcome to my blog. Idk how long I will actually keep up with this but stick around and we will see how it goes. For those interested here is a little bit about me...
