10th May 2025 Empire Strips Back! A burlesque show at Riverside Studios in London. My geek star wars fan friends and I went to see this and as a huge star wars fan myself I was shocked in the best way!

IT WAS FABULOUS!

I was not sure what to expect but I was very impressed and surprised by some of the acts. Without spoiling to much for you - as I know some of you reading this may very much like to one day see this show - it was fun, had everyone laughing and cheering and hooting!

The MC running the show and introducing the act (aka Lando) did a fantastic job at getting everyone excited and upbeat. A side from one technical difficulty and having the poor mc delaying for them with lots of fun jokes, the show ran smoothly. Each act coming on with sexy dancers in uniforms, dancing to perfection with Star Wars props.

I have never seen a show like this and I doubt I will ever.

I will say the show was a little rough around the edges and could do with a little polishing in terms of moving from act to act. However, taking in the whole show, it really was an unbelievable show.

If you are a star wars fan, up for a laugh and ok with watching sexy dancing, then you will not be disappointed.
