I like how the only Andor characters whom we know for certain are surviving Season 2 are Cassian, Mon, Saw, Krennic, K2SO, and Melshi. There's the titular character, the senator who becomes the public face and leader of the Rebellion, the head of the Partisans, the director of the Death Star project, a reprogrammed Imperial droid...and some guy Cassian met in prison.

Listen, I go as crazy for Cassian’s big sad wet panicked eyes post-fry as much as the next person. However, may I provide this screencap for your consideration?

While the reality of Narkina is only just beginning to dawn on Cassian, here’s Melshi, who has not only already resigned himself to the fact that he’s never getting out of this place, but has just gone through yet another arbitrary punishment. How long, how many times has he been through this? How much anger and pain and resignation is there?

Table 5 are already one man down, how did he go out? Did he kill himself like Vemoss did? Is there any place or time for grief in a system like this?

The sentences doubled, no wonder he can’t look at the numbers. Whatever they are, no matter how small they get, it’s not an offer of peace or freedom. How could it possibly be a reassurance that it will come to an end one day, when there’s an endless stretch of torture in between?

I have half an hour left of work and can only think of andor s2, what if the building bix and cassian are blowing up is the one they just rescued melshi from, gorst is in there

Yesss Bix deserves to shoot Gorst a little bit (as a treat) while Cassian busts Melshi out of his cell, and then Melshi and Bix deserve to bond in recovery. They're going to trade notes on hearing aids and ear pieces and start a space pirate rebel radio station, and when Melshi takes up demolition and sabotage work, he and Cassian both think of Bix.

Maybe there's a moment just before Scarif when Cassian is scanning the faces of the newly named Rogue One crew, and he catches Melshi's eye, and they both know they're thinking about all the people who would have been in that hold with them if they'd made it that far (not just fallen Rebels, and Bix and Brasso and Wilmon who are FINE, but Xaul and Birnok and Nemik). And when Cassian says they'll make ten men feel like a hundred, it's because they are: the work of all those people got them free and got them there - put Melshi in position to push that little button, to light it up.
