Hey I've been reading a lot of your prompts lately, are you still using tumblr? I'd love to see more of the prompts and maybe write out some of them :)

Hi! I still love the boys and excitedly watch everything they put out. I'm still on Tumblr on my main and a different sideblog, but I'll admit that I fell out of the shyan fandom side of things. This didn't happen for any particular reason, I just kinda got too interested in another fandom and my attn span wouldn't let me do both at the same time.

Anyone is welcome to use these prompts. I would love that they got some use as I really enjoyed writing them at the time. You don't necessarily have to credit me if you don't want to bc:

1. Unless you tag me on Tumblr or on a03 (itemri), I'm just most likely not going to see it

2. Most of these prompts are generic enough not to need credit anyways probably 🤣

a while ago i came across this prompt and just had to try my hand at it! it’s definitely been a labor of love and i hope you guys enjoy reading it as much as i enjoyed writing it!

He’d laughed with the rest of his friends when they’d seen the billboard advertising the site. They’d all been a little buzzed and high on the adrenaline of another successful semester under their belts, but he’d woken up the next morning with the site’s name poking at his subconscious, and by the end of the day he had created an account and set up a profile.

It wasn’t that he was struggling, per se, but tuition was fucking expensive and he didn’t want his parents to pay for a dime, so he’d buckled down and juggled classes and two part-time jobs to pay for it all, until he’d gotten so used to nights of little to no sleep that the bags beneath his eyes were deep enough to drown in and he was spending most of his waking hours fueled by caffeine and adrenaline and little else. If he had a chance to get compensated for nothing more strenuous than spending some time with a lonely old dude, well, what kind of idiot would he be to pass that up?

In a slight twist to the “Shane is forced to reveal himself as an otherworldly creature in order to protect Ryan from a baddie while on location” trope, it is the whole film crew (Mark, TJ, etc) that Shane has to protect. Reactions are, as expected, varied. Ryan, who already knew, has his back.

Twin Terrors, Or: How Shane Desperately Wished Ryan Was An Only Child

To say that Shane had had a crush on Ryan for like forever, would be an understatement. It took a lot of courage to finally ask him out and he probably looked like a total idiot as he stood there speechless after Ryan excitedly accepted. Shane thought that first step would be the biggest hurdle, unfortunately for him, he had not met Ryan’s twin brothers, Nicky & Ricky, yet.

When Brent let Ryan know he wasn’t going to be able to do Unsolved with him anymore, Ryan told him that he understood, that it was okay, that it wouldn’t be a problem. He had always had a problem with putting other people’s feelings above his own. Truthfully, he was crushed. He had no idea what he was going to do or how he was going to get a new co-host so quickly. So Ryan did was he always does -- stress. He tries for days to find someone to join his project, but everyone was too busy to commit to anything else. Just when he thinks things are truly over and that he was going to explain to the execs why Unsolved couldn’t continue, a savior arrives in the form of a too tall producer that approaches him about filling in. The guy is pretty much a mystery -- his face pings as being very familiar, and everyone seems to know him at least a little, but Ryan can’t recall ever actually speaking to the guy. Ryan is way too excited to think to much about that though.

Here you go, Em: it’s a li’l more fluff than smut, but, well, the smut might come later.  Also, I ended up writing 2800 words and I think that’s more than a ficlet, oops.  Enjoy!!
