mocnlaced:
axel had been keeping an eye on most of the guests at the gala and the red head had caught his eyes easily enough with the suit that he was wearing. still, axel waited until he was sure that the male was alone before approaching them. “i noticed that you haven’t danced with anyone yet.” there’s a pause before he holds out a hand, “would you like to dance with me?”
Roy just stood there and shook his head with a sly smile. “I haven’t, but that’s usually because I’m sort of a lone wolf kinda guy.” As he watches the other hold out a hand, he nods. “Sure. It’s the first offer I got all night, so why the hell not?” He took hold of the other’s hand. “Lead the way.”

selfdestructiive:
This party was turning out to be AWFULLY dull, the music quite slow and the dancing so rigid. Teddy Lupin wasn’t quite sure how much of this he could handle and his date was nowhere in sight. SO without much contemplation he spots a tall,_ good looking_ ginger, a grin preying onto his features as he taps the male gently,·“I need you to dance with me. Please?” A perfected pout tugging on his lips as he batts his long lashes.
The songs weren’t the best, but something about seeing everyone having fun made him want to join in. Sort of un-loner like, but his reputation could handle it. As he felt the tap and turned around, his eyes checked the man out. Tall, dark haired, mysterious and handsome? Just his type. Go figure.
Roy laughed at the man’s offer.·“Need me to, huh?” He did a quick look around and shrugged.·“Why not? Who could say no to a face like yours?” He made a cringe face.·“Gotta warn you though. I’m not a good dancer.” A smile danced on his lips as looked the other man in the eyes.·“You going to lead the way or shall I?”

Music was playing as he made a late entrance to the event. He stood there dressed in this pinkish red colored suit looking around at all the people dancing and just being normal. This was starting to weird him out, but he just shook it off the best he could and slid inside hoping to go unnoticed a little bit until he scoped the area out. Roy was just that kind of guy. With any new environment he entered into, he had to look around. Make a plan in case things were to go badly. One good thing he learned from the blonde archer he called a mentor.
After a few minutes passed and another one of those catchy pop hits played, he laughed and went back over to where he originally was standing. He felt a bit weird like someone was watching him. Shaking his head, he felt someone tap on his arm. He took a brief second to put a smile and turned. “Hi, something you need?”

stcrmbringers:
a tilt of their head , concern in their eyes , his boss had T R I E D to convince him to take the day off. it’s hard to blame them , when he knows how he looks , when the circles under his eyes have deepened & his lips are bitten raw. but it is easier , to work. to focus on anything but the dreams that refuse to leave his head , not even daylight chasing them away. ( pain against his back , the unforgiving cool of steel. blood splattering through his teeth as he had S C R E A M E D. a shock of green against white , white skin , & the high screech of laughter as the building had gone up in flames. ) but perhaps ; he thinks , as a figure crashes into his side & he stumbles back , barely managing to catch himself before he spills onto the sun - baked concrete ; he should be resting. after all , he’s too distracted to see to feet in front of him. ❛ no worries , it was my — do i know you ? ❜
There were memories that he wished he could forget at times, but then again, they were what made him...him. Roy fought vigilantly along some of the greatest heroes in his life, and some anti-heroes. Okay, so he may have fought against some people that weren’t exactly always heroes, but they were the ones who never turned on him shockingly enough.
As he saw the dark haired man crash to the ground, he knelt down to help him up when his eyes went wide. “Oh my god....” Could it...Could it really be him? He had walked around this place looking for someone he knew. Someone he remembered, and of course, he would be the one. Those last words shook him hard. Almost like a steel knife into his chest. “Y-you don’t remember me, do you?” His voice turned cold again. What was going on here?

The red head walked through the place without a real care in the world. He would flash a smile to the people as they walked by. There was something weird about this place, but Roy just chalked it up to being a new place outside of Star City or Gotham. It was just...odd. He was lost in thought when he accidentally knocked into someone. “Oh. My bad sorry.” He spat out as he stepped back. “You okay?”
