Ginny let out a small squeal as Harry pulled her against him and brought his face close to her. Their lips were so close and all she wanted to do was close the inch between. "And just was are you going to do about it?" Before she could respond Harry's mouth was pressed against hers. Wrapping her arms around his neck and standing on her toes she pulled herself closer, a small moan escaping her throat. Too soon Harry was pulling himself away and the mouth that just moments ago was engaged in some good snogging was now forming into a small, but playful, pout. Harry was talking but the red head was only half listening. Most of her attention was on the small touches and kisses that he was giving her. This could not be reality, it was too good. Even if they had to stay a secret they were still together and Harry was far more affectionate then she had ever imagined he'd be. As he placed his hand against her cheek Ginny closed her eyes for a moment, relishing in even this little touch. Slowly she opened them, looking back towards his dimly lit face. "Just how do you propose we vacate this closet without getting noticed? Next time warn me, I'll pack my cloak." "You should probably keep it on you at all times," She chuckled in reply, "Because I particularly enjoy doing this." Grabbing his shirt she pulled him down towards her, allowing mouth moving against his for another brief moment before letting go. "Now since you are so popular," She said sticking her tongue out at him, "I'll check and see if the coast is clear." Pressing her ear against the door Ginny did not hear any noise coming from the other side. Slowly she cracked open the door and peered out in both directions. The hallway was clear. "Looks like we're good to go oh Chosen-One." She used the nickname to tease him but saying it caused the flicker of thoughts after reading the Prophet that morning to creep back into the recesses of her consciousness.
Two Teens and a Broom Closet: @Harry
Harry had done a decent job at not smirking too much as he passed a mildly flustered Ginny on his way out of the hall. This wasnât going to be easy for him, that was sure. Now, to find Ron⌠He wanted his best friendâs approval before letting the cat out of the bag, but he was hoping Ginny would make a move on the break-up front so they didnât have to be so secretive. Granted, things would have to go slow to the public, otherwise itâd be quite obvious as to Ginnyâs real reasons for ending things with Dean.
A sudden clasp of a feminine hand around his wrist and a quick tug into a nearby closet sent Harry into a whirl of mild confusion and immediately brought him out of his love struck musings. âWha-!?â
âLumos.â
Ginny. He should have known. The light from her wand danced upon her cheeks with the same playfulness that littered her bright eyes.
âYou canât just send me flirtatious notes and then walk away Potter.â
He grinned, grabbed her tightly round the waist and pulled her into him. With his lips nearly touching hers he whispered, âAnd just what are you going to do about it?â And with that, he pressed his mouth firmly upon her perfect lips.
After a moment of mild passion, Harry pushed away from the firey red-head and chuckled. âAnd you Miss Weasley, canât be pulling boys into broom closets and expect no one to notice.â He swept a hair from her face, letting his fingers become lightly tangled in her hair. Kissing her forehead, he let a less than pleased sigh escape his lips. âI canât wait to kiss you somewhere a little more romantic than a locker room and a broom closet.â He gave her a subtle smile and cupped her face in his hand, âYou deserve more romance than this little secret allows me to give.â He winked and kissed her nose. I sound like such a git. âSo then, just how do you propose we vacate this closet without getting noticed? Next time warn me,â he laughed, âIâll pack my cloak.â

OOC: Update
Hello all. Just an update. I'm still around and I know I owe a post or two and I want to get something started with Snape but RL is blocking me for the next week or so. The laundry list of things going on right now are: new puppy, moving, graduation (I'm not graduating but I'm an administrator in the English department so this time of the year is awful.), husband, so many birthdays it's ridiculous, friends graduating ergo parties, people moving away/back, and such.Â
I promise at some point soon I will be back in full force. Until then I will try and reply to what is needed.
Sorry to put OOC on your dash but it's the easiest way for me to let you all know I'm still around!

Ginny cut the girl a slice of pie and handed it over. Pulling herself up onto the counter Ginny grabbed her own plate and took a bite. Closing her eyes she enjoyed the sweet taste of the desert, even cold it was delicious. "One thing you cannot deny is that these elves sure know how to cook." Opening her eyes and setting them on the girl she realized that she knew little of the older Gryffindor. Since she woke her up she decided that she might as well make small talk. "So Sara, tell me about yourself? Do you have any siblings?" This was one of the first questions she asked because she found it really did effect a persons personality.
Late Night Trip: @Sara
Sara smiled, weakly. âThanksâ She said. âI know that it willâ She said, a sudden determination built up inside of her. âI will never let them get to me.â She shook her head. She would never ever believe that the Dark Lord and his little followers would win. Not when the the Light Side had Dumbledore. The Light Side a lot of faith and they knew they would win if they never gave up and fought until they couldnât anymore.
The redhead suddenly released Saraâs arm and went to the refrigerator rummanging for something. Then she found what she was looking for and set it on the counter. It was the pie from dinner. âI agreeâ Sara said, going to stand next to the girl. âDo you want some?â Ginny asked. âSureâ Sara smiled, kindly.

Ginny sat at the Gryffindor table in the Great Hall methodically eating her food. She was not really paying attention to what she was shuffling in her mouth, instead her mind with running on overdrive with everything that had happened the last few months, even years. It seemed as if things kept being piled on and the youngest Weasley was beginning to wonder when it would end. As she zoned out the noise from the Great Hall began to filter straight into her ears. It was as if the sounds were being magnified and it was making her tense. She needed to calm down and relax. Pushing her plate away Ginny got up from the table and found herself walking towards the courtyard, where there was just one solitary figure occupying one of the benches. From a distance she could not make out who it was but as she approached she recognized the boy as the captain of the Hufflepuff Quidditch team. Hearing his greeting Ginny walked out from underneath the covered walkway and over towards the bench. "Hey Alex." She said as she wrapped her arms across her chest. It was a chilly day and she had neglected to get a coat before wandering outside. While she was trying to curl into a warm ball the boy did not seem bothered, "How are you not freezing out here?"
@Alex
Alexander had moved away from the rather noisy Hufflepuff table, it was unusual for such sounds to be emitted but then the Quidditch team were hyped up for practice. As he strolled out of those great doors, and towards the court-yards a deep sigh was released from him. He wasnât fond of the noise, he was profoundly more talkative than he had been years ago but he still preferred some time to himself.Â
The male found himself a seat upon one of the cold stone seats, his fingers pressed against the bitter surface as he gazed towards the clear skies. It was bright, could almost pass as a summers day if it wasnât for the bitter winds and lone-some temperature. But it didnât particularly bother the male much, his shirt as usual was un-tucked as he ran his fingers through his messy hair.Â
It was only when his dark blue hue eyes fell upon a female making her way under the covered path-way of the courtyard, that he had the sudden energy to make a conversation for once. As she came closer to him, he stood up and waved a hand towards her. He called out with a friendly voice, âhelloâ.

Ginny's expression softened into one of sympathy as the girl spoke. "I'm so sorry about your dad's family." She offered as she reached out and gave the girls shoulder a reassuring squeeze. "And things will get back to normal," she said with a determination ignited in her eyes, "We have to believe that. If we let them get to us then they win." Releasing the girls arm she turned around and opened the refrigerator, rummaging through for some remnants of the pie that they had at dinner. Finally spotted the object of her search she pulled it out and sat it on the counter. "I know we're all freaked out and unsure but there has to be something or someone that will be able to stop you-know-who." Pulling out a knife she cute herself a piece and placed it on a plate, "Do you want some?"
Late Night Trip: @Sara
Sara knew what the redhead was going through. Just last week she had the same nightmare. To make matters worse, she was a muggle-born. She always loathes going to Hogwarts, knowing her parents are vunerable. Ginny suddenly got pissed as she explained why she hated the masked men so much.
âThey do it because theyâre cowardsâ Sara said. âThey have the fear that if they donât do whatever the âDark Lordâ says, them and their whole family will be killed. âMy dadâs side of the family was murdered last year.â Sara suddenly dropped her voice. âThe day before my birthdayâ She whispered. âIâm scared that with the war coming at us, we will be thrown in it sooner or later.â Sara shrugged. âI just want life to be normalâ She sighed, sadly.

People began to file around Ginny as she continued to leaf through the pages of the Prophet. Dean and Seamus arrived not not after she finished with her eggs, the former sitting next to her and placing a kiss on her cheek before turning to his right and continuing the conversation with his mate. Pretending to still be at the task at hand Ginny began brainstorming ways to break up with Dean. Being engrossed in these thoughts Ginny did not notice the raven haired boy of her dreams entered the Great Hall until she heard him stammer out an awkward greeting behind her. "Er, hey Ginny." Turning towards the voice a huge smile grew on her face that she had to fight to restrain. He looked slightly uncomfortable, shifting back and forth. All she wanted to do was stand up and wrap her arms around him but she could not do that. She had to control her emotions and attempt to act normal. Even though normal for them the past week had been aggressively avoiding encounters with each other but prior to that they had been something like friends. If she could just maintain something close to that hopefully they could keep this whole thing a secret until things were worked out. Clearing her throat Ginny spoke a greeting back, attempting to keep her tone as nonchalant as possible. "Uh, nice practice last night." "Er - yeah." She said as Harry tapped her shoulder and walked away. Shaking her head she turned back to her paper, chuckling to herself. Last nights practice was awful, it was after practice that was not so bad. Thinking of those moments caused her cheeks to turn slightly red. Casting a quick glance out of the corner of her eye told the red head that the boy sitting next to her, the one still considered by most to be her boyfriend, had not noticed any of the occurrences of the previous moments. Something fell in front of Ginny, bringing her attention back forward. Looking down she saw a folded scrap of parchment. Slowly she lifted her left hand to the table, placed it on the paper, and slid them both towards her. Unfolding the parchment in her lap she saw three words written in a messy scrawl. "Good morning beautiful." A subtle look to her left confirmed its sender. Yep, this was going to me much harder then it sounded last night. Before she had a chance to respond the lanky boy had gotten up from the table and was exiting the Hall. Ginny hastily folded up the paper she had been reading and gathered her belongs. Dean turned towards her, a quizzical look on his face. "I need to go talk to Professor Flitwick before class. I'll see you later" She offered as she stood up and quickly excited the Great Hall. As she walked through the double doors she saw the black mess of hair walking down the hallway not to far in front of her. Increasing her pace she was soon a step behind the boy. After casting a glance around to make sure there was no one paying attention, Ginny reached out, grabbed Harry's right arm. Without look at him she whispered, "Come here." and guided Harry to a broom closet just a few feet away. Pushing him in she looked down the hallway once more then stepped inside, closing the door behind her and putting them in complete darkness. "Lumos." A dim light emitted from the tip of her Holly wand, just enough so she could make out the features of the boy in front of her. "You can't just send me flirtatious notes and then walk away Potter." She teased, a cheeky smirk forming on her features.
The Morning Light: @Harry
Harry woke and dreams of Ginny slowly faded into the the morning sun. Heâd overslept, so the dorm was empty. Dressing, he shuffled down the stairs, skipping a few here and there, a bounce to his step. He shot a glance at the chair heâd left Ginny in the night before: empty. He let a shameless grin grow on his face, and headed for the Great Hall, his stomach growling. Walking in, Harryâs eyes fell immediately on the fiery red head of a pretty girl, and he instictively walked to sit next to her, realizing awkwardly too late that he was beelining straight for âDeanâs Girlâ. Shit. âEr, hey GinnyâŚâ he ran his left hand across the back of his neck, and rocked back on his heels. It felt like the whole room was staring at them, their secret screaming at the highest steeple of the school. âUh, nice practice last night.â He slugged her gently on the shoulder and walked past her, finding an open spot father down the bench, putting decent space between them. He wondered where Ron and Hermione were; more than likely Hermione had dragged Ron off to one of their classes. He pulled a small notebook from his back pocket and scribbled a note with his wand. Folding it and glancing around, he quickly whispered, âWingardium leviosa.â and shot the note down the table, letting it fall daintily in front of Ginny who seemed almost depressingly engrossed in her Daily Prophet. Harry was on such a high from the night prior that he had no desire to glance at the news; last thing he wanted was to be brought back down to earth.
âGood morning beautiful.â
He winked at her, and quickly finished his breakfast. He rose with a slight spin, and headed to class, hoping to maybe bump into Ron. He needed to feel out the whole situation and get his approval. Otherwise, things could get awkward.

"Do you want to talk about it?" Now that was loaded question. On one hand getting the issue off her chest would be a good thing but on the other hand her family was so wrapped up in the order that it made it dangerous to say too much outside of a small circle of friends. Ginny's brow furrowed as she thought over what to say and she lifted the goblet of pumpkin juice to her lips to pass some time. Taking a deep breathe she looked at the brunette, "It's probably the same nightmare a lot of people are having now," she sighed. "My family being attacked by Death Eaters and me powerless to stop them." The red head's face became serious and her eyes became unfocused, "We've all become such a target in this war. Mum, dad, my brothers, even I'm on their radar after the fight in the Ministry of Magic last year." Gazing back at the girl her lips pursed as she felt some of her familiar temper ignite, "It just pisses me off. They sit there and destroy families and make our lives a living hell and sit behind a mask."
Late Night Trip: @Sara
Sara took a sip of the pumpkin juice. She sat the goblet down. âWell. Kind of,â Sara shrugged. âI mean. I heard a sound in the common room and I woke up. I couldâve woken up myself, but I decided to investigateâ She explained. âSo, no, you didnât wake me up.â She said. She picked up the goblet again, taking a few sips. She raised an eyebrow, looking at Ginny.
âI fell asleep in the common room and woke up a little shaken. I just wanted⌠something to take my mind off of it.â
Sara felt her face soften instantly. âDid you have a nightmare?â She asked, worriedly. She always got worried when people had nightmares. âDo you want to talk about it?â She asked, softly. She didnât want to pressure Ginny into something she didnât want. âIf you donât, I wonât force you to tell me anythingâ She added, quickly.

As the brown-haired girl began rattling off annoying questions Ginny's level of irritation increased. "Of course I know the consequences!" she exclaimed, eyes narrowing into a withering look. "I am not some lost little first year so you need not worry." Shaking her head she added, "And just so you know there are far worse things then loosing some points or spending some time cleaning trophies for Filch." "Sorry for being soâŚannoying right now. I'm still half-asleep." "It's okay," she mumbled as she grabbed the goblet from Sara's outstretched hand. Leaning against the counter she took a sip, letting the cold juice slide down her throat. "Did I wake you up?" she asked, "If I did I'm sorry." Ginny sat the pumpkin juice on the counter and rubbed her face and ran her hands through her hair. "I fell asleep in the common room and woke up a little shaken. I just wanted⌠something to take my mind off of it."
Late Night Trip: @Sara
Sara let herself be pulled in the kitchens by the redhead. âWhat were thinking when you snuck out of the common room? I thought it was some first year, sleeping walkingâ She accussed. âThe questions is, what are you doing here? I found you out hereâ Sara said, shifting her weight to one side of her body and crossing her arms. âYou couldâve gotten caught, you know that right?â Sara said, raising and eyebrow. âYou couldâve lost Gryffindor house pointsâ She nearly shrilled. âOr even worse, detentionâ She hissed.
âWhat possesed you to come here anyway?â Sara asked. âYou obviously knew of the consequencesâ She rolled her eyes. She sighed, rubbing her temples, slowly. âSorry for being so..annoying right now. Iâm still half-alseepâ She said, apologetically. She searched around for any clean cups and some spare pumpkin juice. She found two goblets and left over pumpkin juice in a cupboard. She poured of them a glass and handed one to the redhead. âHere you goâ Sara said.

Turning around Ginny's eyes fell upon a girl that she recognized as Sara Rivers, a Gryffindor a year ahead of her. Letting out a huge sigh, "Bloody hell, I thought for sure you were Filch." She had not talked to Sara very much but she knew that the girl was studious and not one to be out past curfew. Checking down the corridor she did not see anyone but still felt jitters from her scare. She whispered, "We need to get out of the hallway." Grabbing onto Sara's elbow she moved over to her original destination and tickled the pear, "Let's go in here." Moving into the kitchens she released her grip on the girls arm. Turning towards the girl her eyebrows raised inquisitively, "What are you doing here? It's 2:30 in the morning."
Late Night Trip: @Sara
Sara had been asleep, peacefully, when she heard a loud clanking. She shot up, terrified. She rubbed her eyes and yawned quietly. What was making that noise? She thought. She slipped her petite feet into her slippers and silently made her way out of her dorm. She made sure no one was awake, along with her, before descending the stairs. No one was. She sighed quietly and descended the stairs that led to the common room. She looked around the empty common room and didnât see anybody. But she did see books on one of the couches. She furrowed her eyebrows in confusion. Had someone left them here when they went to their dorm? She was about to go see whoâs they were, when she heard the portrait hole close. Now she knew for sure someone was up.
Sara had inwards battle with herself on whether or not she should go to see who the person was. It was probably a first year sleep walking or something. Finally, she decided to follow the mystery person. She tried silently to go through the portrait hole. I hope this is worth it. She growled in her head. She didnât like breaking the rules often, but she was helping a little first year out? What harm could be done. The portrait hole shut behind her as she tried follow the mystery person. She heard footsteps and quickly followed them. Sara turned a corridor and at the end of it was a person. She curiously and quickly made her way down the corridor. The person had bright red hair. She gasped quietly. âGinny?â She whispered.

As Ginny's eyes fluttered open the first thing that popped into Ginny's mind was the pain in her neck. She had shifted in the night putting her body in an awkward position that was disagreeing with her now. Bloody hell, why do I always fall asleep in this chair? Sitting up a blanket fell towards her lap. Thinking back to the previous night she knew that she did not have it on her when she drifted on. It was not something Dean had done before and she remembered seeing Harry sitting in the common room. A smile grew on her face and she hugged the blanket to her. Standing up and stretching her arms behind her back Ginny looked out the window and realized the sun was already peaking over the trees in the Forbidden Forest. Walking up the stairs to the girls dormitory Ginny could not wipe the goofy smile off her face. As she got ready for the day Ginny put on some lip gloss and surveying her uniform tucked her skirt up to show more leg. Appraising herself in one last time she gave a smug smirk to the mirror and walked back to her trunk, grabbed her books, and headed down to breakfast. Only a few people were at the table and Ginny sat down by herself, putting some eggs and bacon on her plate and grabbed an abandoned Daily Prophet off the table. It was filled with the same grim news that colored every edition as of late. A day did not go by anymore that a death was not reported. One article talked once again about Harry being the final hope for the Wizarding World and her stomach lurched. Had she just entered some version of a relationship with someone doomed to destroy he-who-must-not-be-named? She knew he was not the kind of person to sit on the sidelines, neither was she, but was he destined for it? Just thinking about it placed a weight on her chest. Pushing the Daily Prophet away, Ginny began mechanically taking bites of her egg. Her thoughts far away from the Great Hall as people entered to begin their day.
The Morning Light: @Harry
As he watched her leave, Harry let a relieved sigh escape his lips. It was official⌠sort of. He smiled and shook his head, examining his Quidditch gear that heâd pulled back out. He needed something to do while he put distance between them. Cleaning his braces and shin guards, he reflected on the past week and how quickly itâd flown. He and Ginny. Ginny and Harry. He let out a chuckle; it felt as though an awkward unknown weight had been lifted from his chest. He knew heâd sleep well; things were finally going well.
With his mind finally freeâd from the constant torment of the Ginny episode, his thoughts fell back on the D.A. He had to figure out the details for they couldnât risk getting caught again, and he personally felt everyone needed more training, himself included. He glanced at his watch: 9:30pm. Curfew for 6th years was coming to an end, and he figured a good ten or fifteen minutes would suffice.Â
He walked back to the common room, meeting nearly no one on the trek from the pitch. Aside from grumblings from Filch about Potter pushing the limits as usual, Harry had a quite journey to the Fat Lady. As he gave the password his stomach lurched as he realized he couldnât call her his quite yet. There was still the issue of Dean that which he knew wouldnât be cleared up by then. Thus Harry wasnât surprised, although he was mildly jealous when he saw Dean talking with Ginny, looking at his girl with a hunger Harry wasnât particularly keen on. He figured he hang around the common room for a spell, but he wasnât entirely sure why. It wasnât as though he could really do anything. Snagging an empty corner and a copy of âQuidditch Monthlyâ from a nearby coffee table, he busied himself with various articles on âBettering Your Keeping!â and âCatching the Snitch is a Sitch!âÂ
People slowly trickled out of the common room, heading to their particular dorms. Harry didnât really pay too much attention, and found himself dozing in the chair. One rather heavy head nod woke him abruptly, and he scanned the room. Empty. Stretching to a tired yawn, he put down the magazine and went to head up the stairs to his room, but was stopped at the small sound of light sighs. Turning at the banister, he saw a small figure curled up on one of the chairs near the fire. Walking over, he noticed it was Ginny. He smiled and looked around to see if anyone else was snoozing in the common room. Once assured all persons had vacated, he pulled the throw from an ornate loveseat nearby and wrapped it around her. He wanted to wake her due since a chair is no place to sleep, but she seemed so peaceful he didnât have the heart. Brushing aside a few hairs, he kissed her forehead and turned to his dorm.
Once in bed, Harry couldnât sleep. Heâd thought heâd be relaxed, thought that since his heart was at peace perhaps his mind would rest as well. It seemed all he could think of were various âwhat ifâ scenarios, involving everyone he loved. What if Ron didnât approve. What if Dean went postal? What if Hermione failed an Owl? What if VoldemortâŚÂ Voldemort. Heâd nearly forgotten. He was back, and now, more than ever, Harry had everything to lose.Â

Late Night Trip: @Open
Ginny woke with a start from a nightmare that had become all too common for the Gryffindor as of late. In it her mom, dad and brothers were being tortured by someone in dark robes and a masked face. Ginny was helpless to stop it as she was being held from behind by someone she could not see. The thought that the cowards would destroy peoples lives and not even show their faces enraged the girl. If they were going to destroy families they should at least have the bollocks to do it without a mask. Looking around Ginny noticed that she was alone in the common room. The lights were dimmed and the fire in the grate has settled into embers, glowing red with the little heat that remained. It must be late she thought and a glance at the clock on the wall confirmed that notion. âHow did I end up down here at 2:30?â She whispered as she stretched her arms above her, releasing some of the tension that had developed from the awkward position in which she had drifted off. Still groggy from sleep Ginny stood up. The the books and parchment that had been resting on her lap went clattering to the floor. âShite!â she said louder than she meant to. Pausing, she looked up towards the ceiling where her fellow Gryffindors were hopefully, still, asleep. After a few moments of silence she determined that her shout had not disturbed anyone and proceeded to bend down and collect her materials. Ginny was still shaken from her nightmare and needing something to comfort her. When she was little her mom would always give her some warm milk to soothe her. Deciding that was what she needed now Ginny threw on her slippers. Opening up the portrait hole she scanned the hallway, making sure no one was around before stepping out and quietly making her way towards the kitchens. As she turned the corner and began walking the corridor towards the painting of fruit that required tickling she heard a noise behind her. Ginny froze, sure that Filch had caught her out well after curfew.

Feeling Harry's arm wrap around her waist caused Ginny's breathe to catch in her throat. As her eyes closed and their lips touched a sense of elation overwhelmed her. Here she was, running her hands along the back of Harry's neck and feeling the warmth of his arms clutching her waist. They were going to give this a shot, even if it was hidden for awhile. Her lips stretched into a smile as Harry pulled away. Running her hand along his cheek she stared into his brilliant green eyes as he pushed back her hair. The idea that they were going to have to go back to the tower and act as usual dimmed her happiness some but she knew and completely agreed it was necessary. With a content sigh Ginny stood up, "Goodnight Harry." Leaning down she lightly grazed her lips against his one last time. Pulling away, Ginny gazed at him, the bittersweet emotions that were playing through every part of her making their way onto her face. Reluctantly moving away, Ginny grabbed her bag from in front of her locker. When she turned back to Harry her previous emotions were wiped away, leaving behind her usual playful smirk. "See you around Captain." She said as she walked by, messing up his hair along the way. The walk back to the Gryffindor Common Room gave Ginny some time to process through the many emotions raging inside her. Fortunately it was nearing curfew so the halls were quiet, allowing her to think. She needed to figure out a way to break it off with Dean and soon. Until she did so she would have to act like a normal girlfriend which would not be good for anyone. Too soon she was giving the password to the Fat Lady and was greeted with an unwelcome sight. Dean and Seamus were still sitting up and waved her over. A part of her wanted to break up with him right there but that would not be very discreet considering the amount of time she had just spent with Harry after practice. Now definitely was not the time. After her actions the last few days it would all seem to cagey. Â Her stomach lurched as she played through any excuse to make a quick exit to the dormitory but part of this game was to not appear suspicious. Sending a longing look at the staircase that led to her room Ginny instead set herself down, not on the couch beside Dean, but on the armchair adjacent to it. Making herself comfortable Ginny pulled out her Transfiguration textbook. If she acted like she was studying she could avoid questions but rather then studying Ginny felt her eyes drooping towards sleep. Within minutes Ginny gave in, curling her legs up, laying her head on the arm of the chair, and closing her eyes, allowing herself to drift to sleep with the taste of treacle tart still on her lips.
Let the fun begin: @Harry
When Ginny confessed that sheâd wanted to be with Harry longer than just the past week, he felt even more of an ass and wished he could rewind the years. Of course the issue of Ron was brought up and Harry just laughed. âYa, Ron⌠Iâll talk to him, see if maybe Hermione knows anything on the matter.â He didnât think it would ruin his friendship with Ron, just make things awkward. Heâd been through awkward times with Ron in the past, and it was definitely less than pleasant. Then she brought up Dean and Harry felt his stomach churn. It was bad enough that Dean was littered all over the Gryffindor house, in Harryâs classes, on his team, etc.Â
âI suppose a fight could just get really badâŚâ He tried to suppress a laugh. It seemed girls always had a way of making a small meaningless fight turn horrifically bad, escalating in an exceptionally dramatic breakup. Lots of tears generally followed. As she made mention of the gossip that would encompass the two and the great scandal it could become he almost didnât realize when she went in for another kiss, her lips on his sending shivers down his spine. She pulled away but Harry wasnât about to let her go this time. When she finished speaking he just smiled, wrapping his arm around her waist he brought her in for another. He couldnât get over the taste of her lips and the smell that lingered in her hair. Unlocking himself from her, he pushed a few hairs from her eyes, tucking them behind her ear. âWell love, I guess itâs time for our first performance. Iâll wait here a few minutes so we donât walk in at the same time.â He glanced at the watch on his wrist, knowing theyâd been in the locker room for too long as it were. Before letting her hand completely leave his as she left, he kissed the back of her porcelain skin and gave her a wink; every boyish impulse in him screaming to entangle himself with her and every respectful ounce of his being holding him back.Â
âGoodnight Ginny, and sweet dreams.â
He knew heâd sleep far better than ever that night.

Harry's laugh sent a wave of relief through her. She could feel the heat in her face diminish as she settled into his side, her head falling onto his shoulder. A content sigh left her as she felt the small kiss on her forhead. "So nowâŚ" Ginny brought her head up and smirked at the impish glint in his eyes but Harry was once again going over all the complications them dating would bring. The weight of it all almost felt suffocating. Why can't things ever be easy? She was pretty sure that after some sulking Ron would get over it but things with Dean would not be so easy. He would be really hurt because of the break up. The fact that the biggest motivation for her to severe the relationship was Harry would surely make things even worse. Ginny was brought out of her thoughts as Harry began to ramble through the topic of her dating situation. Her heart swelled with affection and she could not keep her face from beaming at him as he once again rubbed his neck. She shifted her body towards him and reach across his chest, grabbing his fumbling left hand with her right one and bringing them to rest on his leg. "Of course I want to date you," She chuckled then shook her head, a contemplative expression forming on her face. "I've wanted to date you for," Ginny paused, her eyes looking up towards the ceiling as she tried to remember when she first started to like the boy in front of her. Not the story but the boy, "Well, it's been awhile." Lacing her fingers through his, Ginny's gaze turned serious. "But you're right. There are a lot of things that need to be worked out before our relationship enters the gossip mill at Hogwarts" Moving away from the warm comfort of Harry's side Ginny turned so she could look directly at him, folding her left leg so that her ankle was underneath the right. "I do not want this to ruin your friendship with my brother. I know he can be a gigantic git sometimes but he thinks of you like family." Biting down on her lip, she sighed "As for the break up. It will suck. There is really no way around that. It shouldn't be completely out of the blue. We have been fighting a lot. But.." She grasped his right hand in her left, "That's why I agree that we shouldn't tell anyone for a little while. Merlin knows people talk about you enough." She teased, "the last thing we need if for everyone to know that The-Chosen-One stole his best friend's sister from a fellow Gryffindor teammate." She let go of his hands and wrapped them around his neck. Leaning forward she could feel her whole body longing to be closer to him but she controlled herself. Placing a small kiss on his lips she only allowed herself to linger there a moment before pulling back. A devilish glint played in her eyes as she whispered, "That would be very scandalous."
Our Little Secret: @Harry
Harry sat a moment, waiting for her reaction. He was astonished that his initial thoughts werenât closer to reality as she readjusted herself on the bench.
âThe world is a big place.â She shuffled closer to him, the outside of her legs touching the inside of his thighs. A surge of electricity jolted through his body. He looked at her with a slight smile, his brow mildly furrowed, not quite sure what all she was doing, but glad she hadnât left. âWe can start with Hogwarts.â She was close to his face, and he could smell the scent of sweet perfume muddled with sweat and earth: the smell of the perfect woman. Next thing he knew, her hands were holding his face and she pulled him into her, her lips forcefully touching his.Â
Instinctively he wrapped an arm around her waist and pulled her into him, her body rising slightly at the motion, his other hand getting lost in her red hair as he held the back of her head. He felt intoxicated and every ounce of his being wanted more. She let a little moan escape, and he couldnât help but smile. She pulled away, his face leaning more into her as she tried to retreat. He was slightly grateful of her embarrassment as it saved him from his own. Her face was a brilliant color of scarlet, her freckles fading as her pale complexion reddened. âEr⌠Sorry. I should move back some.â She was the most adorable thing heâd ever seen, and the way she inched away from him only made him want her that much more. âGive you some space.â He couldnât repress the laugh the tumbled from his mouth. âGinny, space is the last thing I need.â He relaxed, a relieved smile plastered on his face; this wasnât a mutual fling that would end when they left the room. This felt too real. He threw his leg back over the bench, moved immediately next to her and wrapped his right arm around her, pulling her into him, and shifting her slightly on the bench. He kissed her forehead and let his gaze fall on his locker. âSo nowâŚâ He chuckled. Good God what a mess weâve gotten ourselves into. âWeâve got to figure out how to handle Ron.â He had a mischievous grin on his face; it was apparent he had no idea how to handle the whole situation. âGinny, donât take this the wrong way, because Iâd love to shout from the mountain tops that Ginny Weasley kissed me, butâŚâ he kissed her cheek this time, he wanted to shower her with kisses to make up for the years he hadnât, âmaybe we should keep this to ourselves for a short spell⌠just until we figure out how to go public with Ron. Iâd at least like to ask him if heâd be alright with it, not that it really matters at this point.â Harry pressed his eyes together tightly, the realization that  technically she was still Deanâs girlfriend. He let out a sigh, âAnd Iâm assuming youâre going to have to deal with a less than pleasant breakupâŚâ He looked at her with pity; break-upâs were never pretty. âUm, that is of course, if you have the same intention of dating me as I have of dating youâŚâ He smiled at her with slight concern realizing they kept beating around the bush. Outside of playing kissy face and asking each other a bunch of riddles, nothing had been really said. His left arm went for the back of his neck once again, and a bit of a chuckle lingered on his lips.Â
