We’ve all heard the saying, “One must not judge a book by it’s cover,” but when it comes to YA books, it’s simply impossible not to get caught by pretty covers.
So, here are a bunch of YA books published or will soon be published this 2016 that I’m on the lookout for because I, personally, believe that they have the most beautiful covers.

Looking at my goodreads, my choice of books this year has had some pretty depressing themes!
Absent father, serial killer, abduction/serial killer, mother has cancer, a break up, abduction/murder, and attempted suicide.
Time for something happier maybe?

When will people realize that reading is not a competition??? You read 20 books this year? Cool. You read 200? Cool. You read half a book this year? Cool. You don’t read at all? Cool.
The amount of books you read doesn’t make you better or worse than anyone else.
