One of the toughest lessons, for Capricorns especially but anyone who relates to it really, is that how good you are will not necessarily equate to how much someone loves you. What matters is to impress yourself, make yourself proud, and appreciate what love is being given to you just for being you. It’ll bring you peace just to accept that and live for yourself. Those who don’t care for you won’t choose you even if you try your hardest and those who do will accept you flaws and all. It’s okay to relax and just be yourself, anyone complementary you’ll attract will happen naturally.

It’s been a hot minute.
Long story short, I lost all progress. I was doing well, almost down 40 lbs and I was loving life. Then I broke my ankle and my dad passed away and I gave up on just about everything. I’m not at my highest weight but I’m close.
My body image is suffering. My health is suffering.
I moved into a new place with my best friend and husband, and started a new career last month. I’m taking the opportunity to lose this weight and Grey back to me.
Last time I weight, I was at 220 and I’m not jumping on that scale again for at least a month. Here’s to new beginnings!

• Goal Post •
It's finally beginning to cool down in Phoenix and I couldn't be more thankful! Life in Phoenix through the summer is hard. The heat messes with your head and makes you feel like it's gonna be 116 degrees forever.
The mornings are now pretty cool, and The days will soon follow. We are almost outta the 90s!
Every summer I promise myself I'll be more active once it cools down and this year I'm going to stick to it. Between now and June, I can get a lot done, so GOAL POST.
The last time I weighed in, I was at 198. The weight loss goals are as follows.
< 190 by thanksgiving
< 180 by Christmas
< 175 by my dirty 30 (January 15)
< 168 by my Cali trip in march
< 150 by Memorial Day weekend
< 140 by Independence Day
Running goals are as follows:
Run a 5k in January 2018
Run a 10k before summer hits
Run Disneyland half marathon September 2018
I am feeling highly motivated as far as fitness is concerned and I am so ready to burn the rest of this fat away.
I am infamous for setting unrealistic goals, but I feel like these are all realistic and attainable. I just have to remain focused and consistent.

• This week we're doing a repeat of #couchto5k week 1. I can already feel my lungs getting stronger. This run through, the only pain or resistance I felt was in my calfs and shins. Treadmill running is hard on impact. Once it cools down a little more I'm going to do some training outside. I'll be signing up for a 5k around my 30th birthday (January 15), and next September I'm running the Disneyland half marathon! So pumped for this next step in my life. •Running Update•
Good morning friends!
I finished couch to 5k week one on Thursday. I have attempted this program before, only to quit after day 1. So this is a big deal!
That being said, I have decided to alter this program slightly. Instead of following each week and then moving on, I am instead doing to work in phases. Each phase will last two weeks instead of one.
So week one of this program consists of:
5 minute warm up
Jog 60 seconds // walk 90 seconds (repeat x8)
5 minute cool down
I've done this for the first week already (3x total) and I'm going to do it another week before moving on to phase two.
I don't want to push too much. I want to keep this fun so I keep my motivation and push through.
Have any of you has success with couch to 5k? I would love to hear your stories!

Lunchtime run out of the way! And then slow cooked pork and avocado for lunch!
The run was good it was a bit difficult as I seem to be having some pain in my left side for some reason, I’m thinking it is runners stitch which I don’t know much about. I really don’t feel like not running I have a decent run streak going!
I’m looking forward to just hanging out and relaxing tonight I may go for a lift but I haven’t really decided yet! Hope you’re having a wonderful day.
