God 101

What do you need to know about gods…

They heal at a quicker rate than humans varying from god to god depending on what you’re a god of.

If they die, they come back to life. It make take a while depending on the manner of the death.

Females don’t need contraceptives, they decide when they want to be able to get pregnant. They do this by “opening their grace” allowing for conception to occur.

They can go anywhere they want on Earth through a door in the hall of mirrors, in the Palace. Conversely they can return to the Palace through any door on Earth.

They’re stronger than humans.

Their power is really anything that can be attributed to their names. For instance, Vengeance can take revenge for people and can instill a sense of vengeance in others. But she could not summon something out of thin air.

Creator and Destroyer are the most powerful gods. Then all other gods are equally powerful.

All gods are children of one of the Eternities (the two most powerful gods)

What is the God Complex Roleplay?

An original roleplay where you choose your own faceclaim, build your own human background and apply for the God you wish to be when your human remembers who they are destined to be. 

You are a reincarnated God. The problem is, you don’t remember it. You have a focus, an item that you put your memories and powers into before you died and were reincarnated. Now that you’ve been reborn, you feel... off, like you don’t quiet fit in with where you’re at, who you are... until you find your focus and regain EVERYTHING. And once you do, you need to figure out what was so horrible that you were willing to do that. Oh, and find your breathern along the way, both friend and foe because... there are strength in numbers. 

So where do I start?

Choose the god you’re interested in. Fill out the application, which includes building a human backstory for your character and choosing your own faceclaim. First check to make sure that the face you want isn’t taken already by looking here. 

I choose my OWN faceclaim?

Yep, got sick of people changing faces on us as soon as they took a character. So you choose your own face. That way you can be whomever you want, so long as they are not already taken. Check here to ensure that first.

How do I build my own human bio?

Think about the god you’ve chosen and what job or endeavors they may be involved in as a human being. The backstory doesn’t have to be involved, something brief is fine. Again, check the Muse page for ideas and suggestions. 

Do I seriously need to fill out that Application?

Yes. No exceptions.

What sort of themes do you allow in your game?

We allow all themes, including adult, smut, gore, triggering, BDSM, violence, etc. We ask that anything that goes beyond a simple conversation goes under a Read More and is tagged as such. Simple as that. Failure to do so will result in a warning, second failure will result in banishment from the game.

I’m 15 and I want to play.

We require your age on the application for a number of reasons but the legality in the country where the game is 'based' out of, the US, requires that you must be 18 years of age in order to engage in consensual sexual acts, of which there may be. Yes, you can lie and say you're 18, but in asking we are covering our asses if something were to go sideways with you and we will throw YOU under the FBI bus if it does.

So… I have a question…

Cool, we have an ask box for that. Ask away. However, in order to sign up we needed to be a little more, stringent because it was apparent some people had not read all the rules before they signed the dotted line, so to speak. So to ensure that we are all on the same page, we are requiring that you insert a specific term into your sign up sheet when you get there. This ensures we know you read this and this and it makes us rest a little easier. At least, if nothing else, it lets us know you are aware of its existence and that is half the battle. The term is kielbasa. Without that, your application will be rejected. You have been warned.
