was anyone ever going to point out how soft Satoshi sounded in the dub of the last episode of him and Gou? I dont have the clip with me rn!!! but the choice of words, "I'm sure glad I met you. I mean it." the soft tone in his voice... the delivery is just so vulnerable and like. this isnt coming from the Gou, the person who i expected to have this line and level of vulnerability in tone. This is coming from SATOSHI of all people.

I'll be so honest, I have never heard ash like this towards any of his friends. I've watched XYZ and BW in dub back then but!! this is my first time hearing him like this in dub

Amethio sounded incredibly cute here. Like an actual kid.

My favorite part of Episode 105 was Amethio actually being allowed to be a kid in some ways. Not to say that he isn't mature or anything, but he has zero survival skills, ie he can't cook or do laundry, and he's socially inept and in some ways naive, and around Ludlow/Mighty G he's allowed to be a naive and innocent goofball even if just for a bit.

Ludlow is such a good grandpa figure, even unintentionally. Patient and kind with Amethio, letting him be dumb and naive for a bit, and even giving him positive reinforcement (saying "Good boy, Amethio"). Amethio hasn't had a parental figure like that ever since maybe Maria, especially since Cervantis is a deadbeat.

(On that note, Cervantis is a bum and I hope he gets a harsh slap of reality for how much he failed his son. He's a good man but a terrible father).

Not really sold on him ever full-on joining the RVTs (not that I'm against it, I just have my doubts on it being a likely prospect) but he at minimum deserves to have more interactions with Liko and her buddies in casual settings. He's only ever interacted with Liko in high stakes settings, but he deserves to interact with her and even Roy in more friendly settings since those two are very socially savvy.

I like seeing him get to be a kid and show a more childish and innocent side, even if just for a bit. Because he's ultimately a kid. A teenager, yeah, but the point stands nonetheless.

Look at him, that smile.

He deserves to show this smile even more. You deserve to know how to have fun and enjoy life, kiddo.
