Youta smiled at the Ninetales, knowing the fire and relentlessness behind the pokemons eyes. It’s a prideful pokemon, being known to curse those who mistreat it, something he relates to himself. Offering a hand to the pokemon, he can’t help but want it for his team. The fact that the pokemon reminds him of someone helps as well.

Youta had come to pick Inari up from school, excited to see his friend for the first time since yesterday. But, when he saw her all puffy and red from crying, his excitement fizzled out, replaced by both concern and, a small bubbling rage. He held her hands and listened to her before replying, “ You’re not too tall! Of course I like you, you’re my best friend! ” It was at this point he turned his attention to the other kids, “ do you want me to rough them up? Oh Oh! We can sick dad and Yosuke on them! ”

“Youta-kun!!” A childish cry came from the kid while she was running towards her friend, her cheeks were red and wet from the crying. Pointing out some other kids that were laughing -especially at her-, she hugged Youta while still crying her eyes out “These kids are being mean to me! They said I’m too tall and nobody will like me and wouldn’t be friends with a tall, crybaby like me!” She sniffed, trying to calm her tears but they were still coming out full force “But you like me, right? Right? Youta-kun likes me!”

Solange has always been hard on herself ( regarding grades, her quirk, her demeanor… everything, really ). In her eyes, her performance was embarrassing - how could she stand to be someone who could protect others if she hesitated so much? In her eyes, she had a lot to learn.

A timid smile made its way across her lips before she stared up at him. Her fingers still anxiously played with her scarf. “A-ah… I-Inari deserves kindness… I-I’m only… s-speaking the truth…” A nod was given at his comment, her eyes anxiously flicking to the ground. “A-ah… y-you’re right… um… Wh-what has Inari told you about me…?” Solange guessed that was possibly the best way to start, no?

She seemed very timid, even more so than Inari had mentioned, especially as her hands couldn’t seemed to keep still. Solange seemed to be one of those people you instantly want to protect, like when you see a puppy or kitten. 

His smile kept up when she spoke about Inari deserving kindness, something he wholeheartedly agreed with. “ Inari didn’t really have to say much, other than, “Sol-chan hasn’t got an internship yet!” ” his pitch went up a couple of pitches as he impersonated Inari, his voice cracking somewhere in the middle. " Because we saw the festival, we already have a pretty good idea of what you can do and what you could do in the future! ”

“Oh my gosh, Youta, ya right! Who will send me these snap chats about every single animal with the caption “you”?. Oh Youta, please don’t go anywhere, I need these snap chats!”

“ I will continue my heroic duty and keep sending those snapchats! I’d never leave you anyway! Who would braid my hair before important meetings or events? Or steal Leon from the agency when we don’t have a chance to walk him? Imagine the chaos Inari! THE CHAOS! ”

He…was an odd one to put it lightly. Silent chuckle escaped her lips amused by this little misunderstanding. “Well how about get one from nearby vending machine…in meaaantime….” she pulls small pack of sunflower seeds from her jacket pocket. “Care for some ? “

He was going to accept the fate of his snickers bar, it was gone and probably never going to be found again. “ That sounds like a plan, ” he replied, trying to remember where the nearest vending machine when she offered the seeds. Youta had never really tried them before, “ Can I have one, if that’s alright? ”

LIONS PRIDE is an agency known more for it’s training of heroes than anything else. Based primarily in Osaka, the agency has extensive intern programs available throughout the year, including summer only internships. The internships are very adaptable, allowing students and new heroes to gain experience at a pace that suits them. It’s also popular with new pro-heroes as the agency offers a range of short term and long term contracts, giving the heroes the freedom they need to expand their own personal brand whilst gaining experience.

In recent years the CEO of the Agency, Youta’s father, Yuudai has been making moves towards opening another HQ in Tokyo. The new HQ is set to open at some point in the new year and Youta will permanently move to the Tokyo area to help fill the roster of Heroes.
