I uninstalled the sims 4 the other night bc it’s just not fun to me anymore, I did install the sims 3 though and I honestly wish I had done this earlier. 

The only thing holding me back before was that sims 4 was so much prettier, but with cc the sims 3 can be really beautiful too. I’m very happy to be actually enjoying the sims again

I wish people that paywalled their content would at the very least be upfront about it, but I’ve seen a few simblrs now that redirect you to like 3 different sites before landing on their patreon where everything is behind a permanent paywall

Like I get wanting compensation, especially if you’re a skilled creator (although it’d be nice if it wasn’t a reoccurring monthly payment), but trying to milk as much ad revenue as possible out of people that you mislead into thinking your content is free is batshit

This is my first ever eyeshadow! Ngl I didn’t think I’d be able to make anything worth posting (I made like 5 versions before this that were... bad) but once I got the hang of things it turned out really well and I’m glad I stuck with it.

For your next recolor, could you actually use the lesbian flag? thanks, xx

[this is a really old ask because I forgot to check my asks like ever, sorry]

tbh I like the rainbow flag a lot more than the pink lesbian flag (creator of that one’s a TERF so I don’t use it) and the sunset lesbian flag (I’m just not about that one aesthetically and have other criticisms of it). So it’s not very likely I’ll make a recolor using either of those- since I personally don’t use them. 

I do like the labrys flag and have considered making an edit using that so I might in the future! I just am not very good at cc/recolors because I rarely do them. So I’ve gotten frustrated and given up every time I’ve tried to make something using it lol.

In a general sense there’s nothing wrong with adult-oriented sims content, but as adults we have to know our audience and be responsible in what we post. That means doing everything in our power to prevent kids from being exposed to adult content. If your content is primarily adult and you don’t take any measures to prevent kids from being exposed to it, you’re being negligent and irresponsible. This site is 13+, and even though tumblr sucks at making it safe that doesn’t mean you should actively make it worse.

That said if you’re posting inc*st or sexualizing children in any context wtf is wrong with you, get help
