If we agree that one option for preventing school shootings is to protect the schools with surveillance and armed guards, let’s take the well-established TSA model. The agency has a proposed annual budget of $9.7bi to take care of 5200 airports and other services. A large portion of this money comes from the 9/11 security fee ($5.60 per one-way trip https://www.tsa.gov/for-industry/security-fees), with a total amount of $4.2bi in 2019. If we consider a similar approach, let’s propose a “Columbine security fee” to protect, the 99,000 public schools in the country. That fee would come from the sale of guns and ammunition and a tax on the manufacturer. 🦾 The dual scan protocol 🦾 one very popular approach when acquiring data for treatment plan of fully Edentulous. - make sure the prosthesis or teeth try in is approved by the patient and the VDO is correct. - intimate fit of the intaglio surface is mandatory, temporary reline with a light body PVS can improve that. - radiographic markers or fiduciary should be spread out ( minimal 3, 6 are recommended) - the prosthesis is scanned with the same settings but on a piece of low density foam. - be careful when placing the prosthesis in the patients mouth to minimize possible displacement of the markers.
