ARGIOPE SPIDER-Recognized by their black & yellow color, Argiope spiders are found anywhere there are weeds, trees, and gardens. The females are the largest, growing up to an inch and a half. I've been watching her catch bugs & eat them, and work on her zig zag web stripe, but mostly she just hangs out in one place. She will eventually make a nest of eggs and then die, her babies will hatch next spring...and now I have a little soft spot for this spider, watching the last days of her life 🥺

and a lovely dragonfly, lots of those around this time of year.

I saw this chicken on TikTok and couldn’t stop thinking about her

Saw the dr today, a weigh-in for the glp1 med. I always weigh myself at home before a dr visit so i know what to expect. Today it was the same weight, which is good! 😃 42 lbs lost so far. Decided to stay at the beginning dose 1 more month even though the "food noise" is back because the constipation is for real and doubling my dose would be rough 😬 See the pic? Dr handed that to me & said it is a 5 lb fat baby & i have lost 8 of them, & i have taken 160 *pounds* of pressure off my knees- and i can really tell! Pain is my motivation, things were bad, so bad. Cutting sugar, lots of water, tracking food & doing as much protein as i can stand. the next month will be tough but i gotta give it a try not depending on med, even though the med has lowered inflammation 💛

it's kinda crazy what a common experience it is for like your parents to do something insanely traumatizing to you and then just not remember they did it at all while you remember forever
