The cigarette smoke curls unpleasantly in Gray’s throat. He chokes and promptly whips around to look Natsu dead in the eyes.

“What.”

Natsu crosses his way to the couch and plops down next to Gray. “Sounded interesting, so I wondered—”

“It sounded interesting?”

So, the idiot broke into his flat just to—what? Put one over on Gray?

Natsu pouts at his words, then huffs and whirls around. A leg is thrown over Gray’s nearest thigh before he can react. An elbow follows to let Natsu lean on the backrest next to Gray’s shoulder. Then Natsu glares at him, expression flickering with something beyond determination.

Or, that one fake dating fic because the food is cheaper when you get a discount for couples. Natsu is hungry, and Gray is in the wrong place at the wrong time. The usual shenanigans have never been more delicious. Too bad Erza starts questioning their secretive behavior.
