Graz'zt's Fanpage has found new home!

Finally, after months of searching, I've decided, where I'm gonna move this blog. You can now praise and love our favorite Demon Lord on Pillowfort! In next weeks I'm gonna slowly move everything from here to the new fanpage, and delete posts from this blog, starting from the eldest. The finished version of this art looks absolutly amazing! This lighting and shading is gorgreous. And I love your choice of the colors, and all the details on Graz'zt and Karlach's outfits. The story is great too. I agree, that it's totally like Graz'zt, that if he met someone as "pure" as Karlach, he would want to corrupt her. And if someone shows him no interest, he wants to conquer that person even more. I'm not sure, if Graz'zt would care, about Zariel's opinion regarding him taking Karlach to the Abyss - last time I've checked, these two weren't allies, and he already is a enemy of the Demogorgon and Orcus, the two most powerful demon lords in the Abyss, making Zariel mad isn't probably a big deal to him. But as you have said, it wouldn't be fun to him.

Another meeting with Graz'zt sounds like fun, for everyone involved, except Karlach and Astarion xD I wonder, if Graz'zt would have try to seduce Astarion, if he suspected there is something going on between Karlach and the vampire boy...

The image of Astarion rushing on Graz'zt to literally scratch his eyes out, lives free in my head from now on, thanks to you ;)

Graz’zt is a demon known as “The Dark Prince” or “The Prince of Dark Pleasures”, among others, in the Forgotten Realms lore. At some point he was in charge of commanding hordes of Demons to invade the Nine Hells. What if he and Karlach crossed paths in the battlefield?

Graz’zt clearly gets a kick out of corrupting things, and Karlach, despite being a brutal killer, is arguably on the “purest” spectrum of things in Avernus. Add to that the fact she absolutely refuses to lay with anyone there, and I imagine Graz’zt would be salivating at the chance of getting such an enemy to break and grovel for him.

Karlach, however, is having none of his shit - but she can’t straight up stab his face… he’s too strong. But neither can Graz’zt just grab Karlach and drag her to the Abyss - Zariel would not forgive him, but moreover… that wouldn’t be fun.

One day, after Karlach and Astarion return to Avernus, good old Graz’zt shows his handsome face to taunt her again. If she had no time for his provocation before, now that she has a lover, she has even less. But she also needs to keep Graz’zt entertained enough so he doesn’t notice Astarion. If there’s one thing Karlach knows is that nothing is below demons, and she’s not risking Astarion becoming a target.

(Doesn’t mean Astarion won’t try to rip Graz’zt eyes off…)

Oh, I LOVE, how you have drawn them! Graz'zt face, his hair, the details of his outfit are incredible. And his pose, so intimidating and seductive at the same time <3 Karlach looks great too, love our strong girl, being brave enough to tell literal demon lord to buzz off xD

What if Graz’zt, the demon Prince of Pleasure, crossed paths with Karlach during her time in the Blood War?

Since I haven't played in BG3 (yet!), neither I care about Astarion, I'm here only to say something about Graz'zt and Iggwilv. I absolutly love their dynamic, they are perfectly enemies-to-lovers-who-stays-enemies couple. I'm so jealous about Iggwilv, I wish I could have that hot Demon Lord for myself <3

Ascended Astarion x Tav fic idea (literally just the Iggwilv-Graz'zt Affair)

Soooo Graz'zt was a demon prince who was kidnapped by the witch-queen Iggwilv (aka Tasha aka the lady who made the Hideous Laughter spell), who wanted to use him to elevate her own power. Feeling humiliated by this, he eventually escapes and plots to kill her.

Except...he doesn't. He kidnaps her. In fact, they're both always attempting to kill eachother and then "failing" or kidnapping eachother. And during these kidnappings, Iggwilv often gets pregnant.

Yet from these wretched acts a new understanding was born, along with other monstrous offspring. Iggwilv would often be seen in public with child, but such states were inhumanly brief, and Graz’zt took great pains to keep the identities and whereabouts of his offspring hidden from enemies.

...Which is oddly sentemental for a demon prince. Protecting his kids?? And another fun story:

Graz’zt jealously set out to destroy any fiend that had trafficked with Iggwilv in the past. As demented as it sounds, he viciously attacked Fraz-Urb’luu solely because the demon prince of deception had also been Iggwilv’s prisoner and plaything at one time—a ‘privilege’ that Graz’zt no longer wished to share with anyone.

Fictional possessive men have me in a chokehold. T_T

To the dismay and detriment of the Dark Prince’s consorts, Iggwilv was set free to roam the halls of the Argent Palace and scheme at the side of her one-time prisoner, former lover, and recent captor.

Some of my favorite ascension fics have Astarion treating Tav like Cazador treated him, but I like the idea of Tav just...having a ton of privileges that Cazador would never dream of. Graz'zt, this Big Bad™ who literally rules 3 layers of the Abyss, not only lets his lover do whatever she wants, but also lets her fuck with his plans. He finds it fun.

I could see this with an evil Tav who also likes to play such twisted games, but I could also see an earnestly good Tav who tortures themself over having to kill their lover and failing time and time again. Meanwhile, Astarion sees it as flirting.

Also from Iggwilv's wiki:

While they had almost no trust between them, they also held no secrets from each other

So uh, there's an idea for those more talented than me, haha. I also read that demons don't fuck with Iggwilv for fear of Graz'zt's wrath. It'd be funny to see a good aligned Tav mucking about doing hero stuff, and villains just...run away and don't want anything to do with them for fear of the Vampire Ascendant getting revenge.

Another thing to throw in, that's along the same vein of "I'm evil but you do you babe?" In Curse of Strahd, there's something called the bride ceremony:

To complete a Bride Ceremony, a vampire must drink from their victim three times. The final drink must drain the victim almost completely and then the victim must then drink the vampire blood.

It's unclear whether Astarion actually makes Tav his spawn or is doing the bride ceremony. It's not necessary for a vampire to share a drop of their blood—draining them is enough. And when you ask him to be gentle, he bites you multiple times (once on hand, once on throat) before it fades to black (which doesn't necessarily mean he only bit you twice).

However, this drink from the vampire can be extremely addicting so the vampire must maintain control over the victim's drinking to prevent them from drinking too much. If the victim drinks too much or too little then the victim will die in excruciating pain and suffering.

So this is a really dark idea but Ascended Astarion who makes Tav dependent on his blood. O_O Remember, Tav can only become a true vampire if he wills it, so he could definitely just use his blood to make them dependent....

There's also this nugget:

The ceremony bypasses the Vampire Spawn stage and converts them to a full vampire allowing them free will but maintaining a link between both parties.

Maybe Astarion does the bride ceremony so Tav is immortal so they can play their "games" for eternity. Astarion uses the link to not only force himself into Tav's life but also to protect them.

I really wanna see a fic that utilizes these elements. Some people might think: "go write one" well uh I don't really know how. I've never written a story that wasn't required for a letter grade.

How pretty! I'm always impressed, when I see people painting these tiny miniatures. This must be hard, so many details and all, but you managed to make Graz'zt look so good <3 Congratulations!
