i was never 100% certain about touken becoming this REAL in the manga. yes, i knew that tg:re would definitely include romance, but the fact that touka and kaneki have this great of a chance in becoming a couple (or however much of a couple you can be during the midst of a war) just makes me want to cry with bliss. like, it is happening; the ship that ive always wanted to sail is basically canon.

i was recently looking through some bungou stray dogs fanart and i encountered a beautifully drawn piece of atsushi and lucy (the girl who helped atsushi on moby dick; the one with red hair for those who forgot). although i am a devoted atsushi and kyouka shipper, the sudden revelation i had from viewing that drawing was a reminiscent of the time when i started shipping takizawa with akira or touka with kaneki. this ship has so much potential but considering the popularity of the atsushi x kyouka ship, i really doubt it'll become a reality. despite that, i am still pitifully searching for whatever fanfictions there are of them. the dynamic between the two is beautiful and they have such similar backstories. both have experienced disgusting orphanages during their youths and that may lead to a stronger understanding of the other person. idk I just really crave some atsushi x lucy scenes ;-;

I know this opinion may not be too popular, but Percy and Jason’s relationship was not touched on too often for anyone to consider them best friends. Granted, they were put in a lot of life and death situations, so that could contribute to the ever growing number of people who classify them as the best of friends. However, their relationship seemed a bit forced to me and I really think Rick Riordan was speeding up the process in order to satisfy the fandom. Albeit a fantastic author who I admire, his portrayal of the bromance between Percy and Jason needed more development and didn’t convey much of an importance.
