Actually the term sysmed needs to be eradicated as it's incredibly rude and, as it currently stands, just exists as an insult to anti-endos :D
-Dib
Sysmed culture needs to be eradicated.

I'm gonna make a post about something we saw on here because it's been bothering us for like 2 days and I just can't stay quiet about it.
Someone had replied to one of our posts saying that syspunk and systempunk were both pro endo tags and to stop using them. The comment itself was frankly nothing groundbreaking, nothing we haven't heard a hundred times already. What was so odd that we can't stop thinking about it days later was this person's pinned post when we checked their account.
In their DNI, they said "Anti endos, and even endo neutrals DNI, you don't get to be neutral on our extreme oppression for being endogenic" (paraphrasing here, but they did say "extreme oppression" specifically in reference to being endogenic)
...I have so much to say about this. Genuinely what in the world. And before anyone says this was a troll, I highly doubt it. The rest of their account seemed normal, and I really don't think they're trolling with this.
I want to say point blank; endos are no more oppressed than CDD systems are. CDD systems are not privileged compared to endos by any means, and claiming anything like that is absurd, especially calling it "extreme oppression". Anti endos are not "oppressing" endos.
Yes, you can be upset about being treated poorly by antis, you're allowed to call people out for being cruel, but for the love of god don't call a syscourse stance oppression. Saying that someone who is multiple is oppression you, who is plural, over your plurality, is ridiculous.
You don't get to cry oppression over people being mean online when you or other plurals don't experience historical and societal abuse over it. Shitty people online are not the same as real life oppression, and it's by no means "extreme oppression".
When I think extreme oppression, I think of what the Nazis did to Jewish people. I think of the horrible things that colonizers did to native peoples. I think of the horrifying treatment of the mentally ill in asylums. THAT is extreme oppression.
Now, this isn't to say that endos can't experience any kind of oppression, that'd be equally as ridiculous to claim. Since endos can be literally any minority CDD systems can, and the fact that these minorities seem almost as, if not equally as common in endo spaces as CDD spaces, I have no doubt that the vast majority of endos have experienced some kind of genuine oppression before, same as us. But that oppression comes from other factors, not your plurality.
CDD systems don't have privilege over endos, and endos don't have privilege over CDD systems, simple as that.

I love being a polymind!
I love getting in touch with other sides of myself, with feelings I’ve been ignoring, suppressing, or neglecting.
I love seeing the world through different perspectives, and having multiple perspectives to make decisions based on.
I love the random commentary and music in the back of my head.
I love the way my minds comfort me and look after me when I need cheering up, or when I need to be more assertive.
I love understanding myself with more compassion and care, because all of my minds are me, and being kind to them is being kind to myself.
I love being a polymind!!! 💖

Since this was brought up again;
Parts language is not inherently evil and dehumanizing, it can be extremely helpful for some to treat their headmates as parts of one whole, it can help them work together and understand each other better, and focus on what they have in common for better cooperation.
People language isn't inherently anti-recovery or worsening dissociation, it can help people recognize their headmates as individuals, helping to learn more about each other and emphasizing individual strengths and weaknesses, as well as helping them have more agency.
You don't even have to pick just one or the other, you can use a mix of both like we do. You can use neither and call yourselves something else entirely. Mix and match, don't feel pressured to "pick a side". Sometimes your headmates are both parts and people, and sometimes neither. Maybe all and nothing at once. There's no one way for it to work, it's different for everyone.
What works for one multiple/plural won't necessarily work for another. Parts language can be dehumanizing and harmful for one, but perfect for another. People language can be disorienting and confusing for one, but ideal for another. Both could work for one, and neither for another.
Parts or people is up to the plural/multiple in question, and there's no wrong answer. Just pick what's best for you and your headmates, not what's best for someone else.

Oh, so when a 7 year old has imaginary friends its considered "cute" and "funny"
But when I have imaginary friends, its considered "delusional" and "concerning" and "childish"

I rather like engaging in syscourse. Other then that though, fishing is rather fun when we get the chance to do it. Unfortunately we have not had the opportunity to engage in it this year due to complications with life. I hope to do it with Butter some time soon though. It would be a rather fun activity to do alone together for once instead of being with our dad.
As for a collective hobby, we find much enjoyment in roleplay of any kind.

Syscourse distraction post.
What is your favorite hobby?(collectively or as an individual headmate)
Mine is singing/songwriting :)

Once saw someone saying they don’t like the word traumagenic because it implies there’s another option for systems.
I understand why someone could be antiendo (I dont agree) but like. Traumagenic is an incredibly important word.
Yes, my plurality is traumagenic, but so is my npd. So is my non-humanity. So is my fucking atheism.
“Traumagenic” can be used in so many different contexts and it’s so important to have the vocabulary to describe what you’re experiencing.

Even as a supposedly "pro endo", I hate the word sysmed with my SOUL. It is not used productively in any manner. It is not used nicely, It is not used in any way that could be considered productive and good. It is just exclusively an insult you throw at anyone you dislike or disagree with. Anti endos aren't the only ones being called sysmeds, either, because believing that CDDs should stay in the DSM-5 might aswell get you called a sysmed. It's irritating.
What are some ways we could improve the use of the word "sysmed"? As it stands, it's losing meaning and is mostly just another insult. I do think we could improve on that, though.

I have a really great idea and its called lets normalize not giving death threats because you don't like their beliefs. Another idea I have is called lets stop twisting other people's words into something they never said even when they don't agree with you. Great concepts. I know.
So if someone says, "I support ____" WE DO NOT RESPOND WITH "I want you [vile statement redacted]"
If someone goes "hey I personally don't support ___" WE DO NOT SAY "so you think murder is fun?"

Another problem with plural being used as umbrella term... is that the plural community feels like they are a part of all of the communities that could be seen as plural. So much of the culture around these communities is disappearing as the plural community absorbs them. So much of there ideas and advice ends up in areas where it doesn't belong and may even be detrimental.
I fear that there may be a day where there is no true tulpamancy community, no true daemonism community, no true polymind community, no true CDD community because they will become one big plural community where the people who aren't plural/get harmed by plural spaces get stuck because there are no spaces truely for their practice anymore. The plural community does not own these communities and should be respectful of the culture around them if they are welcomed.
Just like you wouldn't want someone without a CDD coming into CDD spaces pushing a non-CDD ideology on their experiences and what should help you wouldn't want that with non-tulpamancers in the tulpamancy community and so on for all other groups with their own culture and practices. If you are going to be in a space for a specific practice/experience that you don't have be there to learn not to teach. They know their community better than you do.

We've had some realizations today and after much deliberation, we no longer identity with the label of being a system at all. We've relized that we're actually very likely a mix of imaginary friends, alterhuman identities, and polyminded. I think in retrospect we'd have come to terms with the imaginary friend thing a lot sooner if it wasn't such a stigmatized practice.
We know people are likely going to judge us a lot for our behaviors with this being out in the open but I think we're okay with people judging us for how we cope with trauma.

we do too but we feel really bad for those who don't and have that label forced onto them which is why he broke down. It's also why we're mainly an advocate for polyminds within syscourse (though we do talk about other stuff sometimes)
me : i am not a system or plural , i am polymind
some people : that is a normal singlet / human experience
some other people : that’s osdd1
a little more people : that is plurality / median system . just call yourself plural
