Lol yall are so smart, bcs I wasn't even thinking any of this, My thoughts process throughout the interactions mc had with Leander, "OMG He's so nice!!! I love him", granted the free room might have clouded my judgment a lil bit.

guys I don't know what's scarier

Leander being the type to fall in love at first sight, and becoming obsessive and fixating on MC just because...he's like that and believes that like we're fated lovers or something. Like he saw us in the tavern and just began being fixated on us because of our appearance/vibes he just told himself oh yeah that's the one like this is normal behavior for him.

Leander is only giving us so much attention because it's all an act. Leander is playing us like a fool. We showed him our curse and like a switch going off in his head he's like oh I could use you I need you to get to my ultimate goal. His behavior is all very dangerous manipulation. And maybe along the way he'll develop genuine feelings towards MC. But for now this is literally just a facade.
