Personal Log, Earth Date 7.17.25.

Most of my hair has been cut off, and said hair shall be donated to the local establishment working to support people sick with cancer.

I dare hope that donation will contribute to someone's well-being or, at least, to their self-esteem (especially following chemotherapy).

My last name change request is under way, and I will also send in a file in order to have my first names changed. Should that go through as planned, I will be known as James -- or Jim for a chosen few. You may think that I chose it (only) because of James Tiberius Kirk, but I mostly chose it because I have always liked how it sounded and always wanted to be called like that. The first names that I was given following my birth feel alien to me. They always have.

Thanks to all who supported me and still do - this is something that a lot of people can relate to. It took me most of my life to come to terms with who I really am, have always been.

That, and figuring out who I am in terms of neurological development, as I am autistic -- I will seek to get an official diagnostic at some point --.

Personal Log, Earth Date 7.16.25.

Today, I went to my local city council and have been handed two files. Quite a few pieces are required for each, and their processing usually takes one month once all required documents have been supplied.

If both files get approved and the changes made, I will finally be rid of my current first and last names and finally use those that, for long years, I have always felt suited me better.

Emotions are being felt, although I cannot accurately describe them.

Regardless, this process is necessary for me to be myself and present my person as such.

Nimoy's face is somewhat harder for me to draw accurately than Shatner's. Crazy, I know.

Due to nerve damage in my dominant arm, especially my hand, I'm unable to work or even draw much at all at the moment. I'm still pending for tests but the waiting lists are long and this is not likely to be a quick fix. Regardless I'm trying to work it out as best as possible in physical therapy and trying to avoid straining my arm and hand as much as possible.

I had to finally move my ass and set my Ko-Fi because right now not only I have more necessary expenses but also the inability to earn any money for them myself. As an autistic person, you can literally tell someone "I mean this genuinely and literally and this is all genuinely good faith. I mean this all completely neutrally, I'm not implying anything else and this is all extremely literal and good faith" and someone will still misconstrue you in ways you never thought was possible.

First tattoo, healing quite well. I had thought about getting one for so long that it feels strange to finally have it inked into my skin. A second appointment will be planned to make it look more defined, and to add some more pigment wherever required.

The design that I chose was/is dear to me. The tattoo artist who worked on it used my concept drawing and made it cleaner.

You will excuse the poor perspective, as I took the picture myself; the Delta looks perfectly fine in person.

Got my hands on these old postcards from around the beginning of the 19th century to the 1920's at the city market, and I had to share them.

Their sapphic vibes might not be on purpose, this does not take away their charm (and very lesbian vibes).
