Announcement

Hey guys. I know it’s been a while since our last release. There are two reasons as to why I went on an unexpected hiatus overall. One is that, I’ve been too busy with RL stuff. School and work is swamping me so bad right now that there is even no time for ‘Me’ time, and the second one...is that, to be completely honest with you guys, I have been struggling with my feelings towards scanlation. I’m not going to go too into depth, but all I have to say is that I have, for some reason, may have lost interest with scanlation. Though recently, I’ve dived within myself as to how and why I lost my interest in scanlation, however, I’m trying my best to get it back. My interest and passion towards scanlation, and I hope you guys could help me out :)

So, that’s my first announcement. My second announcement is well...maybe it’s obvious? But I am getting back into the scanlation. I may have lost the staff that have helped GS Scans grow, but I’m hoping to get them back or meet new people overall.

Third is that if you guys are currently checking out the tumblr page, it’s being revamped at the moment, so if there are a few things that look weird right now, it’s because of that :)

And finally...Golden Shade Scans is recruiting, because...well, like I said, because of this idiot’s sudden hiatus, they have most likely left as well. So, yes, GS Scans is currently recruiting ALL positions, and yes, that includes Proofreaders, but I will only be limiting with proofreaders because there’s a lot of people who apply for that, and we don’t really need hundreds of proofreaders when we lack other positions, especially translators, because what is the need of a huge amount of proofreaders when there’s nothing to proofread, right? Release o40+ Recruiting and Donations!

What's up guys, it's caxi back from the dead and here with another release! (LELZ)

Anyway, just to inform you guys, most of you have probably seen this being released by another group using Chinese Scans, and though they decided to continue to release, I still want to do the project. Not hating on the Chinese Scans translators and uploaders in anyway, mind you, I just like the versions done through the Japanese Scans, so I'm still continuing this project. This is also to inform the people who messaged me a while back, this project is still alive, and GS Scans is still alive...half dead though LMAO also, really surprised how this is the second chapter of this Kuroneko volume where there's no sex??? LIKE WHOA WHAT? WHERE? WHY? HOW?

but yes, without further ado, here's another release :)

Moi_xRyu got hacked!

Hello! My dear friend Jaz asked me to post this in bangaqua to help everyone get notified. As so I think I should spread the word! So please read her comment so you won’t get any problem while accessing.

Please continue spreading the word because the more the merrier in this case!

Hi everyone! I would like to INFORM EVERYONE THAT MY EMAIL ACCOUNTS AND ALL WEBSITE ACCOUNTS RELATED TO MY EMAIL HAVE BEEN HACKED. My two email addresses - x.jaz_27@ymail.com and mxr.scans@gmail.com has completely been hacked by someone in Facebook whom I have chatted with before. In fact, I know one of the person who hacked me. They have a group of people doing this. So please be very careful of clicking suspicious links from any of my email accounts or websites related to MXR. If you could please follow me in TWITTER = @xyruchan27, I will inform you about them. I already have recovered my Facebook account, my personal twitter I have provided and MXR twitter. If you have been PMed by these people in Hangout, asking for donation funds of around $300-500, please IMMEDIATELY block this person from your list because that is the hacker talking! The same if you have been sent an email from my personal account. I have already deleted my paypal account but since they have access to two of my email accounts, I believe they added these emails to their paypal account - kuyachuck30@gmail.com. If these people ever asked you funds in my name - JAZ/XRYUCHAN27 or MXR, please report them right away to paypal. I cannot access MXR website right now because I don’t have the login information. I have already sent Megori a message about it and I am waiting for her response. MxR Tumblr TO BE ABANDONED

Hello, it’s admin Fuwa (@akamomos) again. Some of you long-term followers from our founding days may remember me as fuwacchi back when LiveJournal was still our main site.

Anyhow, this is an update regarding the MxR hacking incident. Jaz, now going under the name Nyx for a fresh start, still has access to the main site. She’s posted a few update posts there already, so please check them out.

As Nyx has lost access to @xryuchan27 and, in turn, this MxR side blog, this Tumblr blog will be abandoned. While I may maintain co-admin rights to this blog, I am unfortunately unable to remove a fellow admin from the side blog unless they leave of their own will. Nyx has already contacted Tumblr Support to permanently remove her xryuchan27 account as we do not wish to risk the hacker gaining access to MxR anywhere, Tumblr or not. Please heed with caution that any posts made under the “MxR” name from here on out is not to be trusted, as it may be the hacker.

Moi-xRyu Scanlations will change its name to Nyxilicious Scans,

or Nyx Scans for short.

We will not be disbanding, but it is farewell to MxR Scans. Nyx has already created a new Tumblr blog for the renamed group under @nyx-scans, so please feel free to follow us there for any future updates! (It is also recommended you unfollow this blog as it will be abandoned right this moment. Any future posts made on this blog is not by us Nyx Scans staff.) The site is still under construction, but we’re working to get it up and running as soon as possible. Until then, please refer to our main site for the latest updates.

Another note: the URL of our main site will change from MxR to our new name Nyx sometime soon, so if you’re unable to access the main site at some point in the future it may be due to the URL change. Please refer to our Tumblr blog @nyx-scans for the new URL, then.

Recruiting (like, we need people badly)

Hey guys!

It’s  been a while since I last posted here and it’s due to several health issues I’ve experienced, and so the group has been sort of dead, and we apologize for SUPER DELAYED RELEASES. But the group has been a really small group to begin with, so we can’t release so much simultaneous releases.

But yes, I know this is a problem, so I think I have to do something about it. We are currently in DESPERATE need of editors (either a typesetter, a cleaner, or both) and as well as translators (japanese translators) and quality checkers, and of course, said positions are what we are in dire need of, but we are in need of the rest too! We have so much in line right now, and I think they’re getting dusty in my laptop (LOL)

We are in need  of help guys, and we hope to hear from you guys soon!

excuse me, i'd just like to confirm something .. does Aigan Kitty only have 1 chapter? i checked your wordpress link and saw there's a chapter 2 thing below so i'm kinda confused if it's complete already or not yet ^^;

It’s a tankoubon, and if you check mangaupdates, Aigan Kitty is a Volumed manga, not a one shot :)

whoa, it’s been a while since I last posted in our tumblr page??? OOPS, sorry guys O_O there were several stuff I’ve mentioned in our wordpress page, but I shall just copy paste some stuff LOL

hey guys, caxi here :D I know you guys probably thought it’s a release post, but it isn’t, sorry >~< but yeah, the group hasn’t been able to release anything in a while because in the past 3 weeks, I’ve been in and out of the emergency room in the hospital, got numerous shots, and had been having the after effects of the shots (fever being the main) so I’ve been inactive, but I’ve been feeling pretty well for the past 2 days :)

so anyway, announcement done, now onto the GSScans forum part. I decided to make a forum for the lovely readers (as well as the staff) for all the people who read our works and staff to get to know each other. I will be linking the forum here so you can go on and register and leave messages for us, you can also suggest projects there, so go ahead and register guys!

oh yeah, the forum doesn’t really have anything right now because it’s a WIP, but you can still leave messages and chat with one another :)
