you people are CLEARLY not parasocial enough about pearl and it shows. one, her sleep schedule is garbage. like actual garbage. like she was not jetlagged in america because it made her regular sleep schedule normal GARBAGE. She's been living like this for log enough that she's just nocturnal. I'd be more down to see a pearl vampire conspiracy than this nonsense.

also. accents. accents are bullshit and finicky. karn literally has a more english accent because you just adapt to what you hear. pearl's mentioned before that her accent is particularly flexible and that sometimes she has a tendency to mimic accents without trying which often seems like she's mocking people when she's just doing it subconsciously. she usually only does a more 'stereotypical' accent as a joke bc a lot of people like to poke fun at her being australian and focus on nothing else about her.

also. why the hell would she make up the lag??? are you stupid??? you can actually see her getting annoyed during mcc (acerace ESPECIALLY) and other minigames when her performance is affected by lag. in what world would she actively want to pretend like she has shitty lag if she doesnt?

and WORST OF ALL! pearl likes her friends. she likes meeting up with them. she would not pretend to live in australia if she could go see her friends ????
