Forget Grian's past of YHS, Tokoyo Soul, KOV, and all that other jazz. Grian actually grew up completely normal until one day he 'won a build competition and got a house.' This was actually a setup and the video (I think it's Taurtis's video C^nnibal Murder) was where he actually developed a taste for human flesh due to the watchers wanting some really messed up kind of entertainment.

Grian was traumatized by this because he doesn't know what came over him and why he did that, but he still sometimes craves it. So instead, he resorts to eating porkchops and everyone thinks he really likes porkchops but every time he eats it, he feels disgusted with himself. He absolutely won't eat pork unless it's necessary for his cravings.

Scar and Cub are vex and vex also eat.. uh.. people.. but like Grian they also eat pork to settle down cravings. Scar first thought Grian might also be part vex due to Grian having 'random cravings of pork' and panicked whenever he had those 'random cravings of pork'. But Cub informed him Grian was not part vex and was in fact just like that.

Grian is in horror whenever he craves flesh and the watchers are super cruel and are very entertained.

Long story short the watchers mess with Grian in odd ways to get entertainment, and Grian has no idea that this is the watchers and just thinks something is SERIOUSLY wrong with him.

why does this fandom always fixate on grian forced to become taurtis. where are the fics where grian becomes a little too into a mafia boss role/undercover role. where are the fics where grian has a very visible dislike/caution towards the idea of aliens. where are the fics where grian cant actually talk about highschool because of being in the witness protection program like guys theres so much more potential.

I mean, i understand not wanting to actually watch yhs, and im not encouraging you to watch it at all, but i refuse to believe everything fan created that relates to yhs!grian only focuses on taurtis and that one singular trauma
