ƒ. ❝ Ehhh? ❞ What are you even surprised about? Absolutely everyone knows that you're an open book, Hibiki! You're the easiest to read practically 99% of the time! ❝ Mmm... ❞ And the brunette wasn't entirely convinced about it being a good trait, it showed on her countenance. The problem here being that Bikki was indeed afraid of offending others. Most of the time. Not enough to be completely shy (if it wasn't obvious yet) but enough to swallow up some words.

Anyway, a chance to change the topic had suddenly appeared! Take it! ❝ A flower vase? Are you a fan of flowers? ❞

"Fufu, you're an open book, you know that?" he said to Hibiki as she continued to make faces of displeasure. He didn't bother pulling anything off the display. If she was so lacking in enthusiasm, there was little waving anything in front of her would do.

"It's a good trait to have, if you're not afraid of offending others." Hiyori was around so many that were consistently conscious of their image, himself included. He was almost envious.

"There is more than clothing available in this area. I bought a vase for flowers earlier, so don't think you have to settle for a purchase just yet!"

Probably the fastest I've gone on to do a rewatch and I immediately caught this little detail. When Hibiki goes to the Zwei Wing concert and buys glowsticks, she gets the colors of her future gear, Tsubasa's gear, and Chris' gear.

I adore just how much attention the creators put into this series.

ƒ. To say that Fibonacci was her least favorite ward to visit would be an understatement. Compared to how fantastical the rest of Spirale looked to her this section of it looked terribly mundane. Awfully mundane. And Bikki was one who lived for the thrills, you know! Kinda but you know! The thrill of... walking around the commercial district. Looking around in stores if anything would catch her eye. Yet nothing seemed to do the trick. Hibiki would spend a couple of minutes staring at a display, walk a bit to the next store... Repeat. A thousand times.

Maybe if she sat down to drink something warm? Damn, she wanted to hang out with people. Goofing around alone isn't nearly as fun as doing it with someone and-

Gaze suddenly went the direction of a lady clad in white passing by. What a pretty woman. Wait... were those horns? Why would she even be surprised, though. Finding normal humans here can be a challenge sometimes.

ƒ. Making friends... ❝ Mhm! I know! That's what I'm doing! ❞ Even if she's a professional at bottling up feelings to avoid worrying other people, at this point in her life she had become strong enough as to feel genuinely hopeful about things. Even if the friends she had made before weren't here anymore, their 'spirits' carried on with her, didn't they? Everything woud be fine, one way or the other.

A more sincere smile showed up on her countenance, tame but sweet. ❝ Do you want to be friends? I can't help you with guns, though. ❞ I can't understand how sometimes you go from being extremely difficult to extremely easy. What a strange gal.

How she doesn't allow for whatever feeling she's feeling to take over reminds him of the girl who took him and his sister in. She was always bubbly and always smiling even when she was sad.

I don't wanna worry mama and papa. If they see me sad, then they'll be sad too!

"I figured that when I got here. So many questions unanswered and just when you think you have it figured out..." he trails off, not finding the need to finish his sentence. She gets it. She's been here before.

"You can make new friends." He doesn't know much about friends, in truth.

ƒ. Oh... So the look wasn't premeditated but someone he had worked for, huh? More like Maria instead of Tsubasa, then. What a demanding job, to take care of your appearance that much alongside how complex writing music and performing is. Thank god she wasn't an idol nor she ever wanted to be. What a drag. ❝ A cuirass bodice...? ❞ What was a bodice again? Wait, she remembered that word from a history book or something. Was it... Oh. Oh she remembered. And it showed on how quickly that air of doubt left her countenance. ❝ Ah! I know! ❞ But... ❝... But that's not it! I'd like a proper armor. ❞

And even if Hiyori was currently speaking about a wide cuff bracelet, Bikki didn't seem to be particularly fond of it. She already has those! ... When she's wearing Gungnir of course. ❝ ... Maybe I'll just settle for an accesory. ❞ Even if she wasn't one to usually wear those. Very simple-minded when it came to clothing.

"You have a discerning eye! I've worked for such a look in magazines in the past," Hiyori replied proudly to her compliment. He was used to the association in more ways than one. In personality, the people he knew well would call him the same when they were feeling less charitable: a spoiled prince or a demanding princess.

"You know, I believe I saw something like a cuirass bodice at a previous shop along this street. It wouldn't function as armor whatsoever, but it's at least reminiscent of what you're thinking of." Pausing, he wandered closer to the outdoor display of the one they were currently passing.

"Ooh, a wide cuff bracelet would do the same."

ƒ. ❝ The best! ❞ Bikki always spoke about Genjuro with utmost respect and love. To her Commander Kazanari had always been like another father. Well, to her and to all the symphogear users as well. Still, they weren't here to talk about their teachers, weren't they? Well, at least not for now.

❝ You set up camp and everything? ❞ That made her feel like she was exceedingly spontaneous. She truly just came here, did her stuff and went back home. It was just a chunk of time out of her schedule, not a full bown days-long experience.

❝ What kind of training were you doing? I used to come here to fight some of the creatures around here but they don't seem to come out that often nowadays! ❞

⊷ "Just the finger, huh?" Tifa could do that too, but she was thinking of something else and forgot to reiterate as much. That took a lot of strength and discipline, not to mention balance. And she had no reason to suspect the girl was lying considering everyone was weakened when they arrived in the city initially.

She drew closer and crouched down to observe the teen's form. She was used to fighting, that much was obvious. "No, I set up camp a little ways from here. I find it's good to come out here and clear my head for a few days once in a while. Plus there's ways you can train out here that wouldn't be possible in the city. At least not without getting in the way of other people."

"You have good posture and good technique. No notes from me! You must have had a good teacher." Not that Tifa was the leading authority on this kind of thing, but she was confident in her own talents.

ƒ. ❝ Like two weeks ago! ❞ More or less. Time was very relative when you had nothing better to do. And it's not like she was a particularly time-conscious individual.

❝ It's okay! I'm surprised I didn't see you until now! ❞ She had made an habit to check the busiest places in order to see if she could recognize someone. Most of time ending up in failure. Not this one, though! ❝ You're quite easy to spot, you know? Even if you're not wearing your armor! ❞ Despite everything, not many people had that shade of pink in their hair. Maria-san was one that she thought about in that moment but Maria wasn't here. None of the S.O.N.G. folks were here.

❝ Are you hungry? Do you want to grab a bite? ❞ It always came down to food, didn't it?

So much had changed, but she wouldn't trouble Hibiki by saying as such. No, she wanted to enjoy this without any shadows looming over them — people came and went all the time, friends could vanish and maybe return in time, it was the natural order of this land. But being apart for so long made greater the elation of seeing someone she believed might never come back, resigned that they would be a star in her night's sky, out of reach.

"When did you get back?" she asked, making a conscious effort to steady her voice. It wasn't often that her emotions overflowed in this way, and that might cause her friend some concern, but she wanted truly to hold just how dire things home had become back. Ritsuka always maintained their mission waited outside Spirale, there was nothing they could do about it here — here, now, in this moment, all she wanted to focus on was her dear friend.

"I should have been more attentive to the changes in the recent eclipses. Then I could have come to meet you much sooner".

ƒ. It had been so long! ... For the other party, probably. For Bikki not so much, to be honest. She was actually surprised to see that the city had changed so much and years had passed by. Still, seeing someone familiar for once made her embrace the other party tighter and tighter. ❝ Mashu-chaa- ❞ Her expression suddenly froze as she noticed her teary eyes, immediately hesitating and loosening her grip on the pink-haired. Did she do anything wrong or...? A younger self would have quicky apologized but she quickly made her mind and doubled down. Embracing the other party tighter and closer, smiling softly and happily.

❝ Mhm! I'm so glad to see you again! ❞ Well, someone has learned to be a bit less dense. Probably because of Miku.

Between colour storefronts, Mashu wandered without any particular destination in mind; though some appealed with their displays and vibrant shades, none tempted enough to draw her today. Other than getting out, she hadn't any purpose in mind nor any goods to purchase. It might have been a whim, or guidance by a force which wished for that voice to reach her.

Hearing her name called, the Demi-Servant turned toward its source — a girl charging in her direction, bright as the summer sun, just as she'd always been. "—Hibiki".

Instinctively, her arms opened up to catch the other in an embrace, reflecting on just how much time it had been since they'd last seen one another. Years it must have been... a time so much simpler, innocence which Mashu could never return to. But here... now, a beacon reignited shone through the storm raging within her heart, and the realisation wet her eyes.

The arms around the other girl held her closer, warmth spilling over down reddening cheeks. "It's so good to see you".

ƒ. After returning and being housed in Golden Ward, paying a visit regularly to the Mall became kind of a ritual. At least twice or thrice a week. Even if she had already seen most of what the place had to offer. It was just a way to keep her mind busy. Busy on... nothing in particular, to be honest. And that was shaping up to be another day where she'd hang around, get bored and go to another ward to just chill out. Almost aimless at this point. Maybe she'd need to get a proper job, again? Mayb- ❝ Huh? ❞ A familiar figure passed by in her eye's corner. Enough for her to turn around just to check she wasn't imagining it. Her eyes widened as soon as she recognized it. It had been such a long tim-

❝ MASHU-CHAN! ❞ Hey! Where are you heading like that?! Don't hug people without their permission!

ƒ. ❝ No, no! You definitely go back! You're back as if none of this had ever happened! ❞ Bikki further explained, gesticulating vividly as always. ❝ I actually forgot about this place entirely. I didn't even remember a thing until I was back! ❞ That sounds bizarre, to say the least. It truly was as if her whole stay in Spirale was just a fleeting dream she had one night. One she utterly forgot the next morning. ❝ Which is... kind of sad. Most of the friends I made here are now gone... ❞ How easy it was to be alone in this place.

❝ Anyway! I don't really understand how it works either. This whole place is a complete mystery. ❞ Hibiki going straight back to her genki attitude to avoid the previous mood. Classic tactic.

"Hm." Constantine won't decline the compliment, but he's not going to boast about it either. He knows he's smart and he knows that he's really handy when it comes to anything building and fixing. He could probably work as someone who built and upgraded things for people, but....alas it's not something he wants to do. All this was a hobby of his.

"So what, you are back home but not?" How did that even work? How did it work to feel like it was all just a dream? What did the Stars do to people who were sent back and then returned to their world? "my head is starting to hurt with all these questions forming." He huffs and shakes his head, "I don't like the idea of not knowing something."

ƒ. Better not to ask. The things she had seen.

❝ Whoa, wait! Just what kind of school were you in? Like a military one? ❞ Fighting some outside menace seemed out of the scope of regular school activity, to be honest. One thing was being part of an organization tasked specifically with dealing with occurences like that and the other was your school being the one dealing with it.

That kind of school sounded way more exciting than Lydian though... Would she truly be at peace knowing that every one of her friends back in Lydian was in constant danger? No, thinking about it once more, she definitely preferred her regular, boring daily life at school. That's what she loved about it to begin with.

The idea someone else had been in a world just as crazy as her own let Mika breathe a sigh of relief. While it was tempting to ask just how weird Hibiki's occurrences were that was a question for another time. Better to keep something for their next conversation rather then throw everything else they have on the table.

"Well there were plenty of troublemakers. As students we couldn't just let them do what they wanted. But we did have some actual threatening forces show their heads too. Weird people and creatures, all of that stuff."

And even if she wasn't part of the student council anymore Mika felt a sense of responsibility to still protect Trinity. Part repentance and part protecting everyone that still wanted to help her out after everything that did happen.

After rewatching AXZ I had a better understanding why when Hibiki learns that it’s going to rain on Kirika’s birthday her immediate reaction is “I’m going to punch the clouds”

What caused you to start writing? What was your key point?

... I can't remember actually. I think it was like 'I want to try this out because I like roleplaying games in general'. A lot of my friends are writers so maybe I got part of the motivation from them?

On what platform did you start to write?

... Windows Live Messenger. dies of old age

Have you ever written a canon muse that you first thought of ‘meh’ when they appeared in their canon show/movie/book?

Lettuce from Tokyo Mew Mew! And... they were kinda meh when I started writing them too. Kind of the same happened with Farnese from Berserk but I ended up loving the muse both in the source material and writing as her.

If your mother tongue is not the language you write now, what caused you to switch languages?

... Because everyone writes in english. The spanish fandom is very very small.

What is the muse that you write for the longest?

Right now my One Piece OC Fazluna Al-Abhan.

In general I think Hibiki might be up there these days with Makoto Niijima from Persona 5.

What is your favorite canon muse?

I'm between Bikki or Makoto... Might go with Bikki for now. I really love writing her, it's so stupidly fun.

How far do go with divergencies when it comes to your canon muse?

Usually not too much! I tend to respect the canon as much as possible. If I do diverge from it it's because I feel the character would feel more consistent without them. Fuck you GX Hibiki.

Do you still have your first blog / URL?

No! I've had so many tumblr blogs for RP I had to like go treasure hunting to even recover this one and this one was one of my favorites.

What’s something you wish to improve?

My vocabulary sucks ass. My grammar is sometimes spotty. The thing is that I don't read that much english literature to help me improve. My fault. .

Mmmm... Not really? Maybe turn down a bit the amount of selfdoubt I had because I tend to project every single insecurity of mine into the creative work I do. But I think it's all part of the learning process, growing up and all of that. I wouldn't change a bit, it was fun. As flawed as it was.
