episode 27... the way Fang Duobing must have nestled Li Lianhua so gently against that tree. The way he stands guard as he waits for Li Lianhua to wake.

When he hears Li Lianhua wake up, he seems almost disappointed, because it means that it'll all have to end. (He says "You're awake. Li Lianhua." so softly it bowls me over.)

At this stage, Li Lianhua won't be able to explain himself in a way Xiaobao accepts. Fang Duobing is doubting everything, now, all that they were.

Oh this hurts!!! Before, Fang Duobing was so adamant that they were partners, equals - it's the very basis of their relationship.

His hand trembling as he points the sword at Li Lianhua............. Li Lianhua just stands there looking at him. It wouldn't be a terrible way to die. (There's probably a Richard Siken quote somewhere.)

I love that even if aggravated by LLH, FDB’s instincts is always to put a protective arm in front of LLH. Truly a mom in the car move.

I LOVE WHEN DFS IS ALL WEAK LIKE A DAMSEL IN DISTRESS from wuxin huai. FDB can pretend he hates him all he want, but to catch him when he's passing out says a lot! :D him & LLH both protect him too when the jinyuan alliance arrives when they could have thrown him like a hot potato and left.

Perhaps he had done other shady stuff & a coalition of wronged ppl killed him, then to protect themselves put the fault on the jinyuan alliance.
