Oh my gosh. I just found this website that walks you though creating a believable society. It breaks each facet down into individual questions and makes it so simple! It seems really helpful for worldbuilding!

second of all, i personally think damian would be far more likely to join the team itself to impress his crush, but i totally see the appeal of this. i think itd be really silly if he absolutely SUCKED at being a mascot-- he just Can't dance for shit or constantly tries to join in on games or fails at being a goofy mascot character. all fun stuff that sounds nice to see.
