Making OCS out of Sonic characters' favourite foods! (P2)

I wanna thank the people that gave my last post so much attention! I didn't think my silly joke ocs would get so much positive attention like?? Tysm!??

As a silly little treat, I decided to do a few extra characters and their favourite foods, since leaving out characters like Shadow just felt like a bit of a loss.

based on: Shadow - Coffee Beans Cofi was really fun to draw out. Since there's of course, no animals really based on coffee as far as I can tell, and that this IS the Shadow to Chili's Sonic, I decided to just make him a dog too, just so he can fit in! I especially liked his outfit and colour palette. Can't go wrong with the colour brown!

based on: Silver - Apples

Fuji was pretty easy to plan out. I decided to make him a photographer since in my brain, it's a cute bit of characterisation lol.. I gave him the power to control plant life since I thought it'd make up for the lack of telekinesis, a pretty big part of Silver's abilities.

So, uhhh.. Yeah!!! Unfortunately I don't know if any other Sonic characters besides a few minor characters have their favourite foods listed. But if they do, feel free to uh,,, recommend them, I guess? Either way, I hope you enjoy Cofi and Fuji!

Making OCs out of Sonic characters' favourite foods

Hello again!! These are my kinda-serious kinda-jokey Sonic ocs. I loved making all of these and I hope y'all like how they came out!!

based on: Sonic - Chili Dog

Chili was a very fun design. I used a dachshund (a sausage dog..) for the main inspiration for the dog species, and used specific aspects of food items to incorporate them into the design. (Such as onion rings for his earrings!)

based on: Tails - Mint

Minty is inspired off of the "Mint moth", and was directly colour picked from official Sonic channel art featuring Tails picking out packets of mints.

Not too much to say on him, he's silly..

based on: Amy Rose - Strawberry Shortcake

I didn't have many ideas for Kate, I mainly only chose the same animal as Chili because of the Sonic and Amy tie in, alongside the fact dachshund's can come in a cream like colour. Named her "Kate" since it was the closest thing I could get from "Cake", alongside it kinda fitting the "normal ass girl" vibe that Amy has.

based on: Knuckles - Grapes

This one was probably the hardest to design? Mainly because I couldn't find any animals that were strictly associated with grapes or were named after the food (like with Chili and Minty)

I chose a wolf because they apparently can eat grapes and it fits the personality the most. I think he's got the most fun and fitting name tho, considering the translation.

i feel like if i would've told ANY sonic fan before 2020 that Sega gave eggman a freaky husband and it would be one of the most popular ships and that eggman's relationship pushed a narrative story forward which results in a heartbreaking but satisfying ending, i think they would've shot me on the spot

These are my top 3 favorite Sonic characters if anyone cares

The first one is one of the more minor characters of the main cast that hasn’t really properly appeared in the main line games for a while.

The second one is the main kinda self insert character of a spin off game that was released as an April Fools joke and hasn’t appeared anywhere else besides a single comic panel. Most people don’t even know their “cannon” name.

The third one is a movie exclusive character that is made to be gay for the main villain and accidentally stumbled into his own greek tragedy.

The best part is that I could easily give you a full on character analysis for each of these characters.
