Y/n sent her friend a glare before all the students left.

"Ms. L/n." Professor Kuchiki eventually called her over.

Y/n begrudgingly got up and off of her seat, making her way over to her math professor.

"Alright, I'll make this quick. In my class, I would appreciate it if you listened more since you're barely passing already. I'll allow you to use your device in emergency but that is the only exception," He said, making intense eye contact with Y/n.

"I do not want to catch you with your phone again, understood Ms. L/n?" He asked.

"Yes, sir." Y/n replied.

"Good, you're dismissed." Professor Kuchiki stated before going back to what he was doing before talking to Y/n.

Said female sighed, relieved and grateful it didn't take too long to talk to her Professor. However, just as she opened the door, someone else crashed into her. Y/n groaned and stumbled back.

"I'm so sorry- L/n?"

Y/n looked at the person in front of her, realizing it was Toshiro.

"Oh, hey, Hitsugaya-san." She smiled.

Said male chuckled awkwardly.

"Funny way to keep meeting, huh?" He said.

"I guess so, yeah." Y/n chuckled as well.

"I'm assuming you're a student here, too?" Toshiro asked.

"Mhm, a second year." Y/n replied.

"Ah well, I'm a fourth year." Toshiro smiled.

Before Y/n could reply, the late bell rung.

"Crap! I've gotta go, I'll talk to you later, Hitsugaya-san!" She said before scurrying away.

Toshiro smiled and waved as she left. Soon, the end of the day rolled by.

"I love you, Y/n."

"You what?"

"Are you fucking deaf-"

"Shut up...." Y/n avoided eye contact before Gojo went over to his bed, getting under the covers, completely covering himself.

"What the hell are you doing?"

"Hiding." Gojo mumbled.

"Why?" Y/n snickered.

"Cuz you haven't given me an answer."

Y/n sighed and layed back down.

"I'll give you an answer when we're not laying on hospital beds and on the brink of possible death." They said.

"Pfft you're so dramatic, we're not gonna die." Gojo snickered.

"'YoU'rE sO drAmaTic' says the king of being the most extra person in probably the entire world." Y/n chuckled.

Before Gojo could reply with a comeback of his own, a doctor came in.

"Well, it seems like you will both need to be here for a few weeks. L/n-san will need to be here for more time until their legs heal in which they will then need a wheelchair or crutches." The doctor informed the pair.

"Any estimates on how much time?" Gojo asked.

"Mhm, 2 weeks at most for Gojo-san and 6 weeks for L/n-san," The doctor walked over to Y/n, a sympathetic smile on his face.

"After the 6 weeks are up, you'll be given a wheelchair or crutches depending on how much support you need by that time, okay?"

"Understood, thank you." Y/n smiled.

"Of course," The doctor walked back to the door.

"Visiting hours for more than 2 people will be up in 1 more hour." He said before finally exiting.

Within the next few weeks, Gojo was let out while Y/n had to stay. He always made sure to visit them and bring them a gift of some kind no matter how busy he was. He held hope that maybe Y/n felt the same. Gojo waited anxiously, day and night, just wanting Y/n to get out of that god forsaken hospital. Finally, it happened.

Gojo walked to the hospital like he usually did, a small gift in hand. A small smile made its way onto his face at the thought of seeing Y/n again despite having seen them the day before and the day before that. He went inside the hospital and asked for permission to visit Y/n, promptly making his way to Y/n's room. He gently knocked on the door but heard nothing. He was about to knock again before he felt a gentle tug on his shirt.

"I'm over here." At the sound of the voice Gojo knew he'd never grow tired of, he smiled.

He turned around and immediately pulled Y/n into a warm embrace. They hugged back. The pair stood in each other's arms before Y/n's doctor cleared his throat.

"L/n-san has made a successful and full recovery, they are to be discharged as soon as we hand them their belongings." He informed the duo that was no longer hugging.

"You're not going to need crutches or anything?" Gojo asked.

"Nope. They said it was a minor fracture." Y/n responded.

"That's good to hear." Gojo sighed.

A nurse went up to the doctor, handing him a bag.

"And here are your things, L/n-san. Enjoy your day." The doctor smiled.

"Thank you." Y/n smiled back.

The pair walked out of the hospital, Y/n relieved that they were finally out.

"Soo...." Gojo anxiously played with his fingers, not looking at Y/n.

"Come with me." Y/n said, grabbing his hand.

Gojo didn't question anything and followed Y/n, curious as to where they were going. They walked for what seemed like years until finally, they arrived to a place they'd gone to before.

"This is-"

"Yeah. Remember the view from here? It was beautiful." Y/n smiled, opening the door to the rooftop that led to said view.

"Yeah, I remember..." Gojo said, taking Y/n's hand in his.

"You wanted my answer, right?" Y/n began.

"I love you, too. I do. I can't possibly put it into words how much I appreciate, adore, and love everything about you and you yourself," Y/n smiled.

"Thank you for everything you've done for me. I admit, we went through some shit, we were both in the wrong at some point but....at the end of the day, I still love you....a lot."

Gojo chuckled, placing and supporting his arms on the railing in front of him.

"You're absolutely adorable, you know that?" He grinned.

Y/n scoffed.

"Be quiet..." They muttered, their cheeks dusted red.

"I already said it but I'll say it again because it's the truth, I love you, Y/n. You know, whenever you told me about something you didn't like about yourself I always just wanted to shake you and tell you that you were wrong," Gojo stated, getting away from the railing and turning to look at Y/n who was now looking at him as well.

"You're, to put it simply, perfect and perfect for me and that'll never change." He said, leaning in, placing a hand on Y/n's face and finally connecting their lips.

Y/n placed their hands on Gojo's chest, the man himself placing one of his hands on the back of Y/n's neck, deepening the kiss. The moment was euphoric. Neither of them wanted it to end but alas, it did. They pulled away, trying to regain their breaths. Y/n looked down, feeling flustered.

"What are we?" They asked.

Gojo smiled.

"Partners for life."

Y/n chuckled.

"So cheesy." They muttered.

"But it's the truth because, trust me when I say this," He said, quickly pecking Y/n's lips.

"I'm going to marry you one day."

She smiled and grabbed the ice cream cone before putting away her phone. A bit of time passed before Halibel looked at her watch and sighed.

"I should get going now. Be careful on you're way back to your dorm, yeah?" She said.

"Mhm, thank you for coming with me." Y/n smiled.

"Anytime." Halibel smiled back before she started to walk away.

Y/n sighed.

"What should I do now?" She hummed.

She got up from the seat she was on and looked around her.

Y/n felt someone bump into her, successfully knocking her ice cream cone away from her hands and onto her shirt.

"Oh what the hell..." Y/n mumbled.

"I'm so sorry! I wasn't looking at where I was going!" Toshiro apologized.

Y/n turned around to face him and sighed.

"It's alright."

Toshiro's breath hitched once he took a good look at Y/n, his cheeks becoming red. Y/n looked at him, catching him staring.

"Are ya good?"

"Oh- y-yeah. Again, I'm really sorry for bumping into you Ms....um..."

"L/n. You are....?"

"Toshiro Hitsugaya."

"Well Hitsugaya-san, I recommend looking where you're going next time." Y/n teased.

"Y-Yeah! Of course, I apologize." Toshiro stuttered.

Y/n chuckled.

"It's fine, it's not a big deal." She smiled.

"A-Are you sure? I can make it up to you if you'd like." Toshiro offered.

"Mmm there's no need." Y/n said.

"Are you positive-"

"Well if you keep insisting, sure." Y/n stated.

"Um okay! I can um give you my number if you'd like?"

Y/n nodded, handing her phone over and Toshiro did the same, handing his phone over. After that, the pair parted ways.

The hospital doors were quickly opened and in came another patient on top of a bed. The noise woke Y/n up. They slowly opened their eyes and looked around the room.

"They're awake!" Someone said.

"M-Maki....?" Y/n mumbled.

"Y/n, Y/n...it's me...." Maki smiled, coming toward the bed Y/n was on.

"Salmon."

"Are they okay?"

"Y-Yeah...I think so," Maki responded.

"How do you feel?" She asked.

"I can't...feel my legs..." Y/n said.

"That makes sense, they were under heavy rubble after all." Maki mumbled.

"W-Where's...Gojo?" Y/n asked, trying to sit up.

"Careful....he's...right there." Maki said, pointing at the bed next to Y/n's.

Gojo was laying on the hospital bed next to Y/n's, the one that had just came in. He seemed to be unconscious.

"What happened to him...?"

Maki sighed.

"There were a lot of curses he fought and that mixed with also trying to protect the other students, he was bound to get hurt." She said.

"Is he severely injured?" Y/n asked, worried.

"No. I'm sure he'll be fine." Maki replied.

"We should go check on the other students." Panda stepped in.

"Right," Maki looked at Y/n.

"Will you be alright for a few minutes? We'll be back soon." She said.

Y/n nodded. Maki, Panda, and Inumaki walked off to another room, leaving Y/n alone with Gojo.

They looked over at him, feeling immense guilt for everything that had happened.

"Maybe...if I had stayed away from that bastard...we'd be okay..." Y/n thought to themselves.

Their hands gripped the white covers that were on top of them, their eyes began to sting with tears.

"I'm so stupid..."

Suddenly, they could hear shuffling next to them. They looked up, seeing Gojo slowly opening his eyes. Y/n took off their covers, slowly trying to stand up. The put their hands on the bed for support, slowly making their way toward Gojo.

"S-Satoru...are you okay?" They asked.

Gojo sat up and almost shrieked at the sight of Y/n trying to stand up. He quickly got up despite the pain he felt and quickly went to their side.

"What are you doing?" He asked.

"I just...wanted to see how you were...." Y/n replied.

"I'm fine. Just- get back to bed, you still need time to recover." Gojo sighed.

Y/n nodded and with his help, they got back to bed.

"I'm sorry." They said.

"For what?" Gojo asked.

"For getting you involved in all this. It was my fault, if I had just listened to what everyone had said, you and the students wouldn't have gotten hurt." Y/n said, tears slowly rolling down their face.

Gojo smiled.

"It's not your fault. You didn't know this would happen," He spoke softly, wiping Y/n's tears away.

"Plus, you did everything you could do to stop him after finding out what type of person he really is. Don't blame yourself for anything." He said.

Y/n nodded, sniffing.

"I guess you're right....yeah..."

Gojo seemed to have spaced out for a bit as he caressed Y/n's face.

"Is this the right time?" He asked himself.

Y/n looked at him, their face a bit red from how close Gojo was.

"Is everything oka-"

"I'm sorry for this." Gojo sighed.

Y/n raised a brow.

"What do you mean?"

Gojo took a deep breath.

"I love you, Y/n."

Y/n heard a knock at the door, she went to unlock it, revealing Momo outside the door.

"Come in." Y/n smiled, letting her friend in.

Momo thanked her before hearing rapid steps coming toward her.

"Auntie Momo!" Keishi smiled, launching himself toward Momo, giving her a bone crushing hug.

Momo chuckled, wrapping her arms around the little boy.

"How have you been, Kei?" She asked.

"Good!" Keishi smiled.

"Did you finish your homework?" Y/n asked, closing the door.

Keishi stayed silent for a bit.

"Y-Yeah?"

"Are you sure?" Y/n asked.

"It's just- math sucks!" Keishi pouted.

Y/n sighed.

"You're not wrong but you still have to do it. Bring it over, I'll help you." She smiled.

"Okay!" Keishi smiled, running off to his room.

"Where's Nanako?" Momo asked.

"Over here, follow me." Y/n stated.

The little girl was sitting on the floor, watching Dora. She giggled whenever Boots appeared on screen.

"Hello sweetheart." Momo smiled, sitting next to the little girl.

Keishi appeared once again, a folder in his hands. He sat on the couch, Y/n following behind.

"Alright, let me take a look." She said, grabbing the folder and taking a look.

A few hours passed by, Momo had to leave, leaving the kids with their mother.

"Mom 'm kinda hungry." Keishi mumbled, putting away his homework.

"Let me see what I can make." Y/n said, making her way to the kitchen.

Y/n prepared food for all three of them, placing a plate in front of Keishi and feeding Nanako herself. Afterward, Y/n gave Nanako a bath, soon after deciding to get started on dinner. By the time dinner was ready, Shinsou came home.

"Welcome back." Y/n greeted him, holding Nanako in her arms who promptly held her hands out, wanting to be held by her father.

Shinsou smiled, taking the little girl in his arms.

"Dad! Dad! Did you learn any new songs today?" Keishi asked.

"Sure did. I can teach you some if you want." Shinsou chuckled.

"Dinner's ready, you can come eat whenever you'd like."

Shinsou nodded, walking into a separate room with Nanako in his arms, Keishi trailing behind. Meanwhile, Y/n decided to go into her office to check if she had any work to do. 9PM rolled around and it was time to put the kids to bed. Y/n exited her office, walking to the living room where she found Nanako asleep, her head on Shinsou's lap. Y/n chuckled at the sight, she quietly walked toward them and gently picked up the little girl.

"You think you can bring Keishi to bed?" She asked.

Shinsou nodded with a smile and stood up, going to look for his son.

Y/n opened the door to Nanako's nursery, walking over to her crib and placing her down. The little girl mumbled incoherently before going back to sleep. Y/n walked back out, quietly closing the door just as Shinsou walked out of Keishi's room, having brought the young boy to bed. He walked over to his wife, gently getting a hold of her arm and bringing her with him to their shared bedroom.

"Have a long day?" He asked.

Y/n nodded, letting out a yawn. Shinsou chuckled, closing their bedroom door just as Y/n plopped down on their bed.

"They're a lot of work and you say you want another one." Y/n sighed.

Shinsou snickered.

"I'm always here to help you, y'know. Wouldn't want my beautiful wife to get too tired." He smiled.

"Shut up." Y/n groaned, hiding her flustered face.

"It's the truth," Shinsou smiled.

"You can always rely on me." He said.

"I know," Y/n got on her back.

"And thank you." She smiled.

"Of course." Shinsou said.

"But uh....about another kid-"

"Here we go-"

"No, no, it's fine," Shinsou laughed.

"Im fine with Keishi and Nanako, really. They're great kids with an even greater mom. I couldn't think of anyone else I'd want to have this with." He smiled warmly.

Y/n smiled back.

"Me either. I want to be with you, together." She said.

"And you will," Shinsou grinned.

"Forever."
