I want to stop the hurt, but I’m addicted to the pain. I fake a smile, laugh, and reason to live. You say “I’m a ray of sunshine” but in reality I’m nothing but a black hole who is capable of destroying everything I touch. I isolate myself so that I wouldn’t hurt anybody-I take all the pain. I’m a beam of darkness. I sit in the corner of my abyss and watch rubies fall from my skin. I look in the mirror and say “ here we go again”. A consistent cycle of worthlessness. So it will end… for now I will hide my secret.
