What was the point of this hero stuff, the odds of you making it were slim anyways. Plus what hero thinks like you do? He had names in a hat, he was drawing random things and that’s how you were fighting. 

“Y/N and Tokoyami, you’re up. Make this quick I’m getting tired.” You sighed walking up. It took one move, one simple move. All you did was show him what truly terrified him, and he was under your spell. Your quick was the ability to lock people inside their own mind, showing them the darkest or lightest places of their minds. You walked over to him and just knocked him down, making you win. ‘great.’  This was extremely boring and useless. 

Everyone applauded and even complimented you, but you didn’t care. Not like anyone actually cared anyways. You went to the back of the crowd, standing there and thinking. ‘Why am I here? I’m far from a hero.’ The next fight began, everyone already forgetting about your fight. ‘Meaningless, just like I thought.’ 

The bell has rung, indicating the end of the class. ‘I should just skip.’ You quickly dismissed the thought, ignoring it completely. You continued on with your day, it wasn’t too hard to get through. It was meaningless to you anyways.

Everyone was headed back to the dorms, including yourself. You put your headphones in and walk into the dorm, but are quickly stopped by a sharp tug, it was one of your classmates, Sero, he was with his friends, Bakugou, Kirishima and Kaminari. “Hey Y/N, want to come with us to the commons? We’re having a big study session with the rest of the class!” You just nodded, “No thank you, but thanks for the offer.” You quickly scurried away to your room, locking yourself in there. 

‘Thank god I don’t have to do anything.’ Your head hits the pillows, immediately engulfing your face. Everyone here has tried to befriend you but to no avail. You simply didn’t bother. It annoyed your classmates to no end, even Bakugou came around so why wouldn’t you? Anger and hopelessness were two different demons, each having to be fought differently. You turned on your radio and just laid there, thinking about nothing.

“What is the deal with Y/N? She doesn’t seem to want to be our friend.” Uraraka frowned as the words came out of her mouth. Todoroki huffed, “maybe she is focused on her studies and hero work. She is very talented and I assume that means he trains a lot, she probably trains while listening to music.” It made sense, the music was persistent in your room, never-ending it seemed.

Back in your room, you were sitting on your bed, knees held close as tears rolled down your face, trying to stop intrusive thoughts from taking over. It’s not like anyone would care if you did anyways. The internal battle was intense, making you feel light-headed. God, when could this internal hell stop? Someone should just take you out for good. There was a swift knock on your door, making you jump. 

“Hey Y/N It’s me Urarka, Todoroki, Deku, and Iida, can you open the door?” You sighed and wiped your cheeks, opening the door, “Uh... hey.” You rubbed the back of your head, trying to relieve some of the awkward feelings you had. Midoryia stepped up, reaching out to you, “dinner is ready if you want to eat!” You shook your head, “Thank you but I’m not hungry.” You closed the door on them, leaving them speechless. When will they realize there was no point with you? All you did was push everyone away and hurt the ones you actually love. You were sure you would never do that again.
