DID sucks because in the morning you think "maybe I'm actually normal and I should stop overanalyzing my experiences and just enjoy life" and in the evening you get possessed by the ghost of yourself from 2018

Steve From “Blue’s Clues” Just Checked In On “The Kids He Raised” And Gave Them A Safe Space To Offload After Donald Trump’s Election Victory.

Interestingly, Steve doesn’t even speak in the 59-second video, but appears to give viewers a comforting presence as he enters the outdoors shot and “offers them” a hot drink.
And many of the comments thanked Steve for offering them this safe space, with one person writing: “As a trans man, I felt this to my core. I took the breath with you then started bawling. Thank you.”
“The man who is a staple of my childhood didn’t say a single word and it brought me to tears. Steve, thank you. I don’t know where we go from here,” somebody else wrote.
Another popular comment reads: “He didn’t say A WORD and said everything at the same time. This man should be guarded at all costs.”
“Neither of my dads checked in on me today. But you did Steve. Thank you,” one more acknowledged.
“So much responsibility on Steve’s hands to make sure we are okay. We need to make sure he’s doing okay too. I mean I’m not doing great, but he’s still looking after the kids he raised,” somebody else added.
While another concluded: “I bet you didn’t think you’d still be raising us all these years later, Steve, but thank you for still being here.”

System culture is the endless loop of:
"Wow, my memory sucks... I don't think I remember anything before the age of 13."
*gains access to a singular obscure memory from a very young age*
"Maybe I'm just blowing things out of proportion, obviously it's not that bad if I remember stuff like that."
*forgets literally everything from the last few months, including our name, face, voice, parents, friends, etc.*
"...What the fu-"

Affectionately refer to them as the peanut gallery
Things to call headmates other than "my Alters"
Headmates: solid 8/10, clearly a system term though
The Others: 7/10 kinda mysterious, not much pizazz
Family: 9/10 yeah replace those sorry ass relatives of yours!
Brothers/ Sisters: 8/10 personally I like calling them my brothers and sister, but tbh kinda sounds like catholic priests/ nuns. -2 points
Roommates: 9/10 Basic like headmates, but phrased in a way singlets understand
Friends: 10/10 Wholesome, although I am definitely not friends with everyone in here
The Voices: 3/10 People gonna absolutely think you're crazy
Greek Chorus: 5/10 It's funny when someone actually knows what you're referring to
Peanut Gallery: 7/10 Similar concept to the above, only more understood by the average person
Backseat Drivers: 9/10 The most correct one on the list, especially said with just a touch of contempt. Might make someone upset
The Collective: 8/10 very ominous, better when talking about the system as a whole singular unit
Comrades: 10/10 Like friends, but commier! Perfect!
Coworkers: 10/10 very accurate representation of how it actually works in here
The Council: 9/10 The Council has decided that it's really entertaining to refer to ourselves like that
Chat: -10/-10 How is it so perfect, yet so awful, yet so awfully perfect?
