you've probably already noticed, but I just went through a bunch of your posts and I want to tell you that your writing and hcs are amazing.

That's really kind. I've been overwhelmed and haven't written anything so this is kinda what I needed to hear.

Hello, just wanted to request Kuroo, Tendou and Bokuto head canons where they have a blind s/o and I cant find the rules (honestly probably scrolled right past them knowing me) so if this goes against any of them then I apologize.

//Hey friend, it doesn’t go against any of the rules but because you didn’t specify i always make the pronouns gender neutral. also, because I don’t know an awful lot about being blind, please humor me and feel free to correct me if i’ve said/done anything wrong. I’m not too comfortable writing about disabilities when I myself don’t have them, so keep that in mind for future asks. //

Kuroo

he fixates on the fact that perhaps your sense of touch is a lot more intense, and is constantly near you, hand on your back, shoulder, arm, fingers ghosting your cheek or neck when he’s behind you.

he’s always conscientious of startling you, even though you can hear just fine — he makes a bit of a fool of himself by announcing his presence in silly ways; shuffling something in the hallway or clearing his throat when he’s a few paces away and you’re all “kuroo…” but he won’t stop because he’s too worried that you’ll spook and get angry with him.

always trying to help you with things you don’t really need help with, and sometimes it causes tiny arguments that usually end with him weaseling his way back into your good graces and hugging you from behind because he knows you can’t stay mad when he does that.

Tendou

tendou is oddly perceptive of your moods, and seems to know when you’re struggling with something before you know it yourself. he knows when to lay off, and he knows when you need help.

although he’s normally somewhat arrogant, he brings it down when you’re with him. he uses a softer voice, less exuberance, and he isn’t quite so physically intense because he understands that you don’t always want that.

becomes dead, straight up serious the minute you or someone else mentions something about your disability. he will snap out of his cocky attitude and become just literally stone cold serious. appointments? he’s there. you ask him for anything? already done.

Bokuto

“Hey ___, doesn’t this shirt…oh, wait—”

constantly making badly timed comments, jokes, and/or puns about it with harmless intent (and apologizing profusely).

even though you manage well on your own, he pushes for you to get a guide dog. mainly because he wants a puppy. and you need a guide dog. and he really wants a puppy.

takes you places and spends time describing every detail of what everything looks like, brings your hand up and outlines the shapes of things.

no, but really. he loves to describe things to you. he’ll take you out for walks at night and tell you what the stars look like, or how many silver cars passed you by so far until you shove him to quiet down so you can enjoy the silence for a minute.

sometimes kenma honest to god acts like he has never, ever, in his life, seen or touched a girl before lmao? like everything about you transfixes him 

he loves how soft you are, your hips and your butt and your chest, esp when u hug him!! because he’s a stick and doesn’t know anything about extra padding so it literally amazes him and he loves when you squeeze him tight

he’s sO shy!! it took him three weeks to bolster himself up so he could try kissing you and it was a really quick, chaste little kiss but you dragged him back for another one and he just kinda,,, died, because kissing? actual kissing? w o w

sometimes he tries to compensate for his shyness by buying you stuff, taking you out for coffees or getting you stuff from vending machines and just like… handing it to you awkwardly. bless him.

he googles stuff like “how to hint that you want to hold your girlfriend’s hand” or, “how to be less shy around your first girlfriend” and will refer to those wikihow pages like it’s the writ of god

he’s very self conscious about his body because he’s scrawny, and so the concept of taking his clothes off in front of you and being intimate is slightly horrifying,,

you guys take a lot of time to build up to that kind of physical intimacy, but it’s so much better because you’ve waited for him to feel comfortable and when he finally does, its so sweet and wonderful :)

he’s so conscientious about everything, pays so much attention to what you like and don’t like and p much looks at u like you’re some kind of goddess,,, ok im done

Kageyama

we all know how broody/angsty this kid can be, but he totally lights up around you and its super cute. he tries to mask it at first, because he’s nervous that you’ll view him differently if you see him when he smiles or laughs,, but eventually he makes less of an effort to hide it 

he blushes so easily when you hold his hand or kiss him, and you’re fortunate enough to have seen a few (rare) smiles that could melt even the coldest of hearts

he’s never really sure what dates should be like, so he tries to do the conventional date stuff, like taking you to movies and putting his arm around ur shoulder or taking you out for dinner and paying for ur meal even though he can’t really afford it, and he’s sooooooOOO awkward about it but bless him because he really tries!!

he hates, and I mean hates phone calls. but then one time, you kind of pressure him to talk to you on the phone, and after that he starts calling you every single night and just not saying very much at all because he’s awkward but he kind of loves it? he loves hearing your sleepy voice before you go to bed even if neither of you say anything and it becomes this little ritual

also?? sex is the LAST thing on his mind. it doesn’t really occur to him that sex would be some impending event between you two,, so he just kind of carries on and focuses on other stuff until you bring it up, which completely throws him for a loop because sEx???? and he lowkey avoids you for a few days after you bring it up because he’s freaking out, when should he initiate it? how? candles? do people actually do foreplay?

he overanalyzes the shit out of the whole thing and you just have to initiate it yourself one night when you guys r watching a movie in ur parents basement, somebody’s a lot louder than you thought

May I request headcanons with dad Kuroo and his son that was sooo small, but one day he starts growing up like weed and now is more tall than his father and the s/o because of this starts teasing Kuroo? Thanks and have a nice day!

okay so,

Kuroo is usually not egotistical abt really stupid stuff. but boy his pride has really taken a blow because his teenage son can literally pat him on the head

you relish it, and constantly remind him how much. if you can’t reach something, you’ll look right at Kuroo and call ur son from upstairs who will happily make a big deal out of it because he loves seeing his dad brood over something so petty 

sometimes when they try to have father-son play fights, kuroo can’t take him on anymore because he’ll wind up on his ass!! ur sonny boy can literally flip him over and you have ur iPhone out every single damn time to film it 

he’s following his daddy-o’s footsteps and playing volleyball at school, but sometimes he’s insecure abt being used solely for his height and kuroo trains with him one-on-one bc he wants to give him a solid foundation of skills so he doesn’t feel self conscious 

you obviously think it’s sweet, but you can’t stop yourself from ribbing kuroo and saying stuff like “he’s even better than you, and he’s only 15!” “you don’t want him to show his old dad up, do you?” “Too bad you can’t do stuff like that anymore, huh babe?”

he haTES it and ignores both of you for a few hours until you coax him to talk again by making something he loves for dinner 

ultimately ur still shorter than kuroo and the more you tease him about his son being taller than him, the more he vehemently tries to make you feel tiny like he makes it his personal business lol he’s so petty stop him
