I used to have longstanding major depression that spanned from my preteens to early adulthood that also lasted about 10 years. It's a rough cycle to get out of, but in hindsight I did let my thoughts keep reinforcing that truth (in a manifesting context), telling myself I have nothing to live for. Anyway, I'm rooting for you! Just know all is temporary and there is always happiness to be found, even if it's seeking it in the simplest things like your favorite music, pet cat, favorite food, etc.

reset your negative manifestations
10 years out of 20 years of my life, I suffered from a severe depression. and every single day I could not stop complaining about how I’m still alive. I repeated that everyday, until now, it has actually grown as a disease inside myself.
(to explain more about the disease, it is digestive disorder. and I’ve been to every single hospital to find out what caused this, and all I heard from them was that I was fine according to the test results.)
and I realized it now. all I said and meant back then, it has become a strong manifestation and made me go through this big phase. how do I stop this? another strong manifestation about my health?
if this disease is happening because of my negative manifestations I did. what about just “taking it back”?
taking back, it means resetting your negative manifestation.
enough talking about me. what kinda negative manifestation do you think you made without realizing? real simple things like these: “I’m such a bad person”, “it’s the most terrible day”, “I’m pretty sure that she/he hates me”, “it’s not gonna work out”, could be a negative manifestations, and it could grow inside yourself as negative energy.
let’s reset these negative manifestations with me.
first, you need to focus on your negative energy inside yourself. it is the body of the negative manifestation.
second, realize that it is not good for anything. realize that this feeling is useless.
third, remember how you used to manifest these negative energy.
fourth, take those manifestations back. tell yourself that those manifestations did not help you, thus you take it back. and focus on the feeling that you’re resetting your negative manifestation. like restarting a computer.
I think it will be better if you do this with a meditation. I’m thinking of doing this as a one month challenge in august. so anyone who’s interested, you can follow me.

personal opinion about shifting journey
for some people it takes less than a year to shift, on the other hand, there are people that takes much more than a year. and personally, I think, for most people, it will take 2~5 years to finally shift. and as I was thinking about this, I asked myself. “after 2 years of practice, what kind of state do we earn? what makes us shift after 2~5 years?”
disclaimer: this is my personal opinion. there might be some wrong point. so plz don’t take it too sincerely.
first, I tried to analyze the phases we have.
1. discovering
2. fantasizing
3. realizing
4. practicing
5. shifting
the first phase is discovering it. I don’t know if everyone else is the same with me, but I discovered shifting when I was at the lowest time of my life. and I thought this was a gift from the god. and then, second step, I started fantasizing it.
to make it clear, it’s not bad to fantasize shifting. however, it will depend whether that is preventing you from shifting or not. and for me, it was very much preventing me from shifting.
then I realized. shifting is not just fantasy. it can happen in real life. even though I always wished that I could shift, somehow I couldn’t think that I will be able to actually shift someday. and I think that is because I took shifting as a magical thing that I cannot understand. so third phase, realizing. I realized that it is not just fantasy, but it’s real to me.
fourth, practicing. for me, it took about a year or more than a year to shift.(it was a mini shift btw so i still have long way to go) and during the time, I practiced whenever possible. and then every practice I have, I realized something from the attempt. like method that works best for me, when to try the method, how to focus, what kinda subliminal works the best, such things.

so the answer of the question that I asked myself at the first of this post might be this: you do not earn a certain state, nor something that makes you to shift. it is just practicing and practicing. and never giving up. if you keep practicing, there will be a point you quantum leap to a state where you are better at shifting.
practice is everything. just believe in yourself and do not give up.

11 shifting unpopular opinions that I have
1. lucid dreaming method might be the most effective method
2. we should not say that shifttok is bad cuz we are literally in the same community of shifting. and we have enough fight with anti-shifters
3. it’s okay to script literally anything. but sometimes you should not speak those things out to others
4. lying about shifting experience isn’t that bad. and it could be a manifestation for some cases
5. for most people, it takes about 2~4 years to finally shift. so practice is everything when it comes to shifting.
6. lucid dreaming and shifting are deeply connected.
7. things like “you are already in your DR” “you already earned it, all you have to do is realizing” are good. but you also have to make sure that you’re not just denying and trying to run away from your present, thinking so.
8. mental health has a very huge impact on shifting.
9. shifting is very scientific, but it’s just not fully proven with a proper experiment yet. just like quantum physics used to be considered as non-scientific back in 20 century.
10. I think there will be a method that works for everyone, when you put certain amount of effort.
11. not shifting is also alright. you will shift eventually, even if you don’t want to.

a little yappy time about my DR
anyone who has seen my intro will know that I’m shifting to a pro-gamer DR. to explain for those who don’t know what this is, pro-gamer is a short term for professional gamer. and we compete in the game league. just like athletes competing in the olympics.
and in this DR, I am one of them. the best thing about this DR is that playing game is my job! just imagine you playing games and getting paid😭(of course its not that easy, but ykk??)
let’s talk about my team in this post.(ima post few more to explain my DR) all my teammates are so talented that we almost never lose.(well we do sometimes) even if someone is not in a good condition, other teammates are always there to back him up. also back me up, sometimes!
and after every match I have, they come to greet me, and encourage about the match. this is literally the most precious moment in this reality.
we also have a coach for this team. he’s a diligent young man. he works hard for every match we have, behind the stage. everyone should acknowledge him for his work.😭 fans are always cheering on us players, not the coach.
on the vacation season, we go on a “short” trip. it’s always a short one because few of my teammates just want to stay home during the vacation. and they will always enjoy the trip the most😭
they are not just my teammates. they are literally family to me!! I love my team and my DR so much🥹

maybe 2020 shifting era was better?
I don’t know much about 2020 shifttok since I discovered shifting in 2023. but I know that there were a lot of “misinformations” back then.
such as, starfish position, we should not move during the attempt, raven method, hydrating yourself before the attempt, etc.
I’m not here to actually tell you that we are devolving. cuz I know 2025 community has a lot more correct informations and kind people. but I want to say some of the “misinformations” back in 2020 are not exactly “misinformations”.

for instance, starfish position, could actually help you shift. as a lucid dreamer shifter, I had better opportunity to successfully lucid dream when I sleep in such a position. since my body doesn’t touch each other in the starfish position, it makes it easier for me to focus. in other sense, it will help you to focus during your method.
for another instance, hydration also helps you to shift. when we are shifting, we use a lot of frontal lobe, which is basically the front part of our brain. and in order to activate your frontal lobe, hydration and exercise is important.

in conclusion, we have to reconsider all the “misinformations” back in 2020 era. just like those two examples, maybe we are missing out important informations, thinking it’s a cringe.
what is cringe is that back in 2020, we thought you “must” do it, in order to shift. but now, in 2025 we know one method would not works for everyone in the community. different people have different methods for themselves.

dream eyes method
I got this idea from my fav youtuber, who’s a master lucid dreamer.
⬆️ this is his channel btw. so if you speak korean, plz check out!
overlook for the method!
1. try when you’re not so tired -> 2. remember how you open your eyes, focusing on the feeling -> 3. get into sleep paralysis -> 4. try to open your eyes remembering how you opened your eyes before you go to sleep. and try not to open your real eyes, but your “dream eyes” -> 5. as opening your eyes, remember how your DR room looks like -> 6. when you open your dream eyes, you’re gonna see your DR.

1. when to try
this is a sleep method, and try this when youre not so tired. first, you will most likely to fail to induce sleep paralysis when you’re too tired. and second, sleeping is also important to maintain good mental health.
2. before you go to sleep
you have to remember how your DR room looks like in the first person’s point of view, from where you wake up. and if you’re done remembering your DR room, you have to remember how to open your eyes when its closed. not like blinking, but opening. focus on that feeling.
3. sleep paralysis
when you’re ready to go, now you lay down on your bed, and you’re gonna induce sleep paralysis. its easier to induce it when you focus on the feeling you falling asleep. and if you even have trouble with that, you can visualize sleeping as a human being, and visualize that its coming closer and closer when your getting sleepier.
4. in the sleep paralysis
when you manage to make it happen, now you won’t see anything, and can’t move, but you will be still awake. now what you have to do is, to open your “dream eyes”. you don’t actually open your real eyes, you have to remember that you are opening your dream eyes, which could be your DR self’s eyes.
so remind yourself how you opened your eyes and the feeling, and try to open your dream eyes. if this works out, you will see your DR’s room
5. grounding (optional)
even if you make it to your DR, you can still feel dreamy, so you have to ground yourself. for example, me, I script that there would be raining when I shift. and I ground myself listening to the rainy sounds. you can also script this or find something more effective for you!

how I balance shifting and my CR
lately, we know well that mental state and CR life matters when it comes to shifting. and today I’m gonna talk about how I balance my CR and shifting practice, in order to help people with my experience.

to talk about my CR life, I am jobless💀 but I go to a library to study everyday. so that’s where my stresses are coming from. during the day, I don’t even think about shifting at all. I just focus on what I’m studying at that point. but when the night comes, I turn into a shifter♾️.
when I’m too tired, I skip a shift attempt and do affirmations that I’m gonna sleep tight. and when I’m not so tired that I could try an attempt, I try to finish the method within 30 mins. and when the 30 mins passes, I just give up and just go to sleep. this is because sleeping is so important in your daily life. and no decent sleeping causes a lot of mental illness, which is not helping for shifting.
and then when I wake up next morning in my CR after the shifting attempt, I don’t disappoint because I didn’t make it. instead, I recall my memories about dreams last night and keep a dream journal. cuz I personally believe dream is so connected with shifting.
and also, since I used to have better results when I worked out during the day, so I try to exercise time to time. (not everyday, I’m lazy) and I’m doing this not only for shifting, but also for my CR life.
to summarize this post, I try to not care about shifting so much. and then I go exercise and take some decent sleep. that’s the most important thing from this post.

let’s add something more to shifting!
I see a lot of people in this community just trying the shift with a method/affirmation. that’s not bad. not at all. but I wanted to advise something more. why don’t we add a little more to the shifting journey?
you know like, manifesting, law of assumption, lucid dreaming, and meditation, sorta stuffs. it all connects to reality shifting and it does a great job with it, more than we think.(and I know a lot of people are already doing this but I just wanted to make sure that everybody knows about this)

for example, when you have trouble focusing during your method and fall asleep, meditation must help you a lot. meditation is helping someone for focusing on something and clear their mind.
and when you don’t have enough confidence with your shifting attempt, you should manifest your shifting. everyday you’ll have a manifesting session and manifest about shifting. everyday, you’ll get more confidant about yourself and your shifting attempt.
what about connecting to your DR? you should try lucid dreaming! shifting is fun but also lucid dreaming has a lot similarities with shifting. and you can actually use this as a method, or practice for shifting.
and why don’t we just do all this things? every morning, do a meditation for 5 mins, and maybe also manifestation at the same time. and then with law of assumption, you will assume that you’re gonna shift tonight. and if you don’t feel confidant enough about that, you know what to do. and then when the night comes, you will induce lucid dreaming, to practice shifting.
imagine you do this everyday for just a month. you will prolly end up with your DR. but remember, it’s important to also take care about your CR, and mental health!

DR idea: death messenger DR

recently I watched kpop demon hunters, and I really enjoyed the movie. and then I kinda came up with this new DR idea: death messenger DR
death messengers are those who guide dead people to their next life.
and in the movie, they kinda just look like some of ghosts. not exactly wrong but, not precisely the fact. cuz they also guide ghosts to their next life.
in this DR, you become a death messenger. and you guide dead people to their next life. people can’t see you unless they are dead. or, you actually reveal yourself in front of them on purpose.
exciting points about this reality is that you kinda become a secret agent who treats death.🕵🏻 you can also fall in love with people who are alive and become their guardian. (if you watched the kdrama, guardian: the lonely and great god, you’ll get it) and you can work with your best team. and maybe that team could be saja boys cuz why not (tiktok proud face emoji)
that’s pretty much it about this post. I’m not here to suggest everything and details about the DR, but just the idea and the concept of this DR. so you’re the one who actually create and script this DR, and every details.

I suddenly wanna talk about my shifting journey. and I will👍
trigger warning: de*th, suic*dal attempt
when I first found out about shifting, there wasn’t really any doubt about whether it is real or not. cuz 2 years ago, I was at the lowest time of my life. I was thinking of k**ling myself 2 months later, on my birthday night. and then, I magically found out about shifting on tiktok. and then I realized maybe I dont have to k**l myself. I can surely call it magical. cuz I never searched anything comes close to shifting on tiktok and now I got bunch of shifting contents on my for you page.
my first video about shifting was prolly someone saying that she shifted last night. and I searched about what shifting is, and there’s how my journey started. whoever that girl is, I love you so much and you actually saved my life.
and then I decided to write a script about my DR. I had a lot of trouble with it too. back then, I had a serious perfectionism, and also serious depression. which makes a combo and I can’t start anything because i’m too afraid of making any mistake. so I think it prolly took few months, even a year to complete the script. and that DR is my current main DR btw.
and then I tried my first ever attempt last year. I was still in a very bad mental condition, constantly considering permashifting is my only option left. and that made me think that shifting is one of my assignments. now shifting is overwhelming me. I cried every morning, every night because I can’t shift, because I had to live another day in this mentally-draining reality.
and this year, I took a break on my uni, which was one of the reason why I was so overwhelmed. and then I started taking anti-depressants again. and then I read some books about spiritual enlightenment. now I’m really not considering d*ing. I’m keeping my balance with my shifting journey and this reality. even though I’m not that doing well still, I feel that it’s going to be not that bad.
2 years ago, 2023, was supposed be the year I d*ed, but it actually turned out to be my most important point of my life because I found shifting. literally, shifting saved my life. I wanna know more about shifting and actually shift. (even though I mini-shifted, I never actually fully shifted before)
I just kinda wanted to share my story with everyone in case someone in the same situation like me would get help from reading this post.

your mental health does matter when it comes to shifting.
a lot of shifters found about shifting when they were at their lowest, just like me. and that led them to be obsessed about shifting as a means of escaping from this reality.
I used to be in that phase, too. and I know the best. this reality has no hope. you don’t even wanna think about tomorrow. you have to shift tonight.
when I was like that, it never really helped me. it did no help to my shifting attempt. in fact, I tried to k**l myself because I believed I will shift that way. but I’m telling you, this is too risky. what if I don’t shift after de*th?

and then after a year, I got a break from my university, which was the reason for my stresses. and also took medications. and now that I’m feeling better, I’m reading books about spiritual enlightenment, taking care of myself, and I do shift attempts when I really want to.
guess what happened? I mini-shifted! also I’m figuring out how to lucid dream whenever I want to and it’s currently going great.
maybe you can question that it’s not my mental health that actually helped me to shift, but it’s my experience. but either way, you have to go through that phase. you have to go though your mental illness. so look after yourself and your mental health.

shifting story time(but I didnt shift)
disclaimer: I actually didnt shift and this post is just me acting like I shifted to my DR cuz why not. 👍
last night I shifted to my pro-gamer DR and stayed there for 1 day, and basically all I did was practice for the match at the end of the week.
I shifted there when it was starting of june, which means, starting of summer league season.
I woke up in my DR room and it was raining. and I grounded myself listening to rainy sounds.
after a while, since it was monday, I had to go for practice for the match on the weekend.
the gamer team office takes about 7~10 mins by foot so I went there by a bicycle, which only takes 5 mins then.(it stopped raining at that point btw)
we were all supposed to be there at 10 in the morning but this one member(he’s always late) got there 15 mins past 10 o’clock. so I actually practiced as this member’s faction for that 15 mins until he got there.
after the practice, we went back home at 3pm. and then the one member who was late, he said he would buy me something at a cvs, and I got a free ice cream from him.
I went back home, and actually there’s an extra practice after dinner at 7(online practice btw) so I practiced for a while with my team. and then after that I went for rank match(I need to grind💀). and then I went to sleep at 11.
and I woke up this morning here. that’s it!
