Today is my 2 year manniversary! Before I started T I would dream about what I would look like if I was born in the right body. I spent a lot of time in front of mirrors imagining myself reflecting back the way I felt on the inside.

One place that I found a lot of comfort in was the car. As a hockey player, I spent a lot of time on the road and used the car mirror as my escape. It was far enough away that if I squinted a bit I could block out my long hair and feminine features to see a version of me that I longed to be outside of my little car world.

It’s so peaceful to not daydream my life away anymore and live it the way I’ve always wanted to. So here’s to many more years of seeing my world with eyes wide open! To commemorate the day I thought it was only fitting to post a few of my favourite mirror pictures: 1st is on a car ride in the summer with my friend to get🍦, 2nd is seeing a formation of a moustache for the first time👨🏼, and 3rd is a moment where I was really loving the skin I was in.🦋
