okkkk so as yall know I’ve been devouring the It book recently and. I’m currently like 760 pages in, during the Smoke Hole chapter, and, don’t hate me for this, but Reddie isn’t that prominent in the book? Like, it’s there, but I easily see so much more chemistry between these two and the others losers. I mean, Eddie looks at Bill with love and heroism???? Hello??? Richie would be the only person who would understand Bill as well as he did until his wife??? Richie reaches out for Mike’s hand and feels his strong comforting fingers??? And the Reddie content is just…not there. Idk there’s been a few throwaway lines and I haven’t finished all of it yet but it has not been cutting it like everyone says it did.

thinking about that deleted scene from It Chapter 1 when they were running away from Neibolt to their bikes and Eddie got injured, Richie didn't even let him go and was just holding him till they got to their bikes plus Eddie was so tiny that Mike lifted him with ease and he fit inside that small compartment of Mike's bike then we have Stan who went ZOOOOM! and biked so fast that he was ahead of the others and they all went "OHSHITOHSHITSHITOHFUCKOHFUCKFUCKHOLYSHITHOLYSHITSHITSHITAAAAAAAHHAHSHAKAHWJAK"

in conclusion, they should have kept that few seconds deleted scene :)

This is the second chapter (2/7) (11,678 words) in the first part (1/3) of my reddie series, I Love You So Much it Scares Me Half to Death.

I'm going to officially say that I'll be posting a chapter every Friday!

Summary of Part 1: They're just kids, and it's summer. But normal kids don't need each other this badly. The Losers would do anything to get out of Derry, until fate actually puts that on the table. Feat. your mom jokes, spaghetti, birdwatching, snow storms, awkward hugs, birthday parties, and two very messy gays who desperately need medication (but not the medications in Eddie's fanny pack).

Summary of Chapter 2: When they have no other options, they reach out to one another. Adrenaline and a hearty fear of death keep them afloat. Then the shock fades, and suddenly they're left breathless, all the pain catching up to them, still holding hands. And then they have to be kids again.

This is one of my favorite chapters. The final scene is the first thing I wrote for this fic, so it's very special to me, and the scenes in Beverly's apartment are so close to my heart. This is also the first chapter which caused me to cry! Spoiler alert: it's because of Stan. I always end up crying because of Stan. Oh, and I got to make a bunch of really stupid and archaic retro D&D jokes, which is always a blessing to my soul. I really hope you guys enjoy this one.

give your characters exes.

give them a variety of exes. give them relationships that shaped who they are but did not last. give them people they tried very hard to love but it didn't work out. give them situationships that taught them things. give them something deep that was real but could not endure. things that hurt. things that ended amicably. people with whom hot passion cooled to warm affection and became undying friendship.

no more first and only. give me the context of what made them know the next or one after was final and right.

i never got round to doing a live react thing for the IT book (and tbh im still not very far into it) but i need you all to know that i would kill and die for ben hanscom. never has there been a sweeter character in anything ever. he whispers bev’s name to himself and blushes, he loves his teachers and volunteers to stay late after school to help them, he kicked henry bowers in the nuts partially in self defence but mostly because he ruined his library books and he was worried the librarian would be disappointed.
