You can also pull the plating off if you want to. It’s messy as hell, though you’d probably have a much easier time ripping people apart then I would. But I digress.

Thank you, I try. Good to see that my efforts are not wasted.

As for the tattoos, simple.

The designs are carved into my carapace with some added pigments to give it extra flare. It’s still merely surface damage, doesn’t impact the integrity of my plating though it is a tad more sensitive. I suppose it is more akin to what I’ve seen called ‘scarification’ because at least tattoos can be covered. 

I’ve got the crew literally cut into my flesh, against my better judgment.

Wasn’t cheap mind you and it requires an occasional touch up every other century to keep the colours vibrant, as well as keep the finer details clear.

My arm piece still isn’t finished and it has taken a damn eternity to get all the card suits done. However for obvious reasons, it takes time and some measure of trust. I am lacking in both.
