I wanted to practice with some textures, coloring, and rendering, so what is a fun way to practice all of that? Uhmmmm Cardan x Jude of course! I also have been neglecting them and needed to feed the fandom, so here it is! Although this particular dress wouldn’t be Jude’s first choice… they had to be matchers and the reference I used fit the vibe so well 🤷‍♀️

Jude is not unlike Cardan here. The main difference between them, the one thing that keeps her anchored from surrendering into this particular breed of unrestrained cruelty that is very notoriously Cardan, is that she has a family that loves her, that sees her. Despite the inherent problems within that family (her feeling like an outsider in the trio of her sisters, the fear-love she has with Madoc, etc), she was still raised with a form of familial love that Cardan was not. 

These words though, the wildness she’s feeling, and how she wants to lash out, is so similar to the burning rage that Cardan gave into that I can’t help but GET THE FEELS because of how similar they are. My little angry monsters.

And the thing is MC in Ebb and Flow was really just playing, like how was she supposed to he’d respond like that? Up until that moment they’ve had mostly playful banter and light teasing. She was just expecting a snarky comeback, but every attempt to joke and play-play like usual in that bond story fell flat
