"Flag Tail Bannercat", "Sir Padded Paws", & "Cat's Eye Vigil" ⬢ ⬢ ⬢ The digital scans of my Patreon card set illustrations from February, 2024. Patrons can see the design process behind my card work as well as get early access to the finished illustrations. ⬢ ⬢ ⬢ The Armorpurr set of illustrations are warrior cats of the Cat's Eye, wearing 13th-14th century armor. Sir Prize is a keen bannercat of the prideful Cat's Eye Knights. He wears a ring mesh hood under a iron hat and chain mail armor beneath a brightly dyed tunic so that you know who he fights for. Sir Pass is a knight of the Cat's Eye Knights. They wear a quilted leather chest piece over a breastplate, with padded arm and leg protection, and an apron that falls below their belt over their tail. Their helmet's visor opens sideways at hinges, so that you can see their charming face. Sir Rendipity is a quiet and watchful guard for the Cat's Eye Knights who rest. She wears a colorful yellow-blue overlay, with tongue-shaped serration beneath leather armor and an iron hat. ⬢ Happily be! ⬢

“Rings On, Moving On”
I’m thankful that I can at least have the power to end a rough journey through wedding planning with an illustration I’m proud of.
My soulmate and I had gotten married last year, March 12th, under a date of convenience. With COVID-19, the wedding had to be reduced, reduced, reduced, and then it was just the bare bones minimony with a reception postponed for this year, and now it’s officially just cancelled. We’re still married, but much like 2021’s sentiment, we’re still trying to make this year better than the last.
The wedding notification cards were one of the only things I felt like I had a hold on throughout my engagement, because I could control their design. I wish the rest of the ordeal was as straightforward as painting.

I’ve got to make a new “good mews” gif...this isn’t a repost! It’s been increasingly difficult to post, but I’ve actually new news to announce!
I'll be participating in THREE craft fairs this upcoming month at the The Ford Piquette Avenue Plant, in Detroit, Michigan!I plan to display my HappilyHummingbee greeting cards, prints, and original framed paintings for purchase. Many of the card sets I've made over the past year are new in stock, so be the first to get your paws on something for you, your friends, or your family! If you’re interested in showing your support by being a guest of mine at this event, know that regular admission prices to the museum still apply; see details below.
⬢   ⬢   ⬢
Sunday, DECEMBER 4th, 11th, & 18th: Santa's T Snowmobile & Holiday Craft Market Days
⬢   [Event Page]   ⬢
Santa will make a special trip to Piquette Avenue on Sundays in December!
Reserve a holiday photo opportunity with the Big Guy in the  Big Red T or Santa’s Model T Snowmobile for $10 between 11:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. and receive digital copies, a complimentary  print, and a holiday frame! You may also take your own photos on a first come first serve basis.
Families can also enjoy a festive kids’ tour of the museum designed for elementary and middle school ages, a scavenger hunt, and story time at 1 p.m. featuring the children’s book “The Night Henry Ford Met Santa.”
Regular admission prices apply.
Throughout the day (10 a.m. to 4 p.m.), guests can shop for unique gifts in the museum store and holiday craft booths featuring a variety of local vendors.
⬢   ⬢   ⬢
I'm ending the year with some shows at a familiar place, but they're doing some events a bit differently this time around. There's a lot of history at the Ford Piquette Avenue Plant in general, and they're tackling a lot with their Holiday Craft Market Days throughout December.
There's so much to show you all, and I'll keep my social medias updated with any more news.In the meantime, my thanks to each and every one of you, and happily be!

This is going to be my fourth event a vendor at the Ford Piquette Avenue Plant myself, and my experience as a vendor has been pleasant every time. The artists I've met through the events have been kind and it's a relief to know that gig work might be picking up. Let's all just hope that folks stay safe about it all, so we don't relapse.
In the meantime, my thanks to each and every one of you, and happily be!

“The Important Kiss”
Wait, it's 2021?
Apologies for not being active online; I was busy planning a wedding for myself and be beloved for March 12th. Now that I can breathe (at least...until the followup ceremony in a year), there's more art to come and some much needed revamping of websites and shopfronts...Here's to making this year better than the last!
Cheers and happily be!
