"Flag Tail Bannercat", "Sir Padded Paws", & "Cat's Eye Vigil" ⬢ ⬢ ⬢ The digital scans of my Patreon card set illustrations from February, 2024. Patrons can see the design process behind my card work as well as get early access to the finished illustrations. ⬢ ⬢ ⬢ The Armorpurr set of illustrations are warrior cats of the Cat's Eye, wearing 13th-14th century armor. Sir Prize is a keen bannercat of the prideful Cat's Eye Knights. He wears a ring mesh hood under a iron hat and chain mail armor beneath a brightly dyed tunic so that you know who he fights for. Sir Pass is a knight of the Cat's Eye Knights. They wear a quilted leather chest piece over a breastplate, with padded arm and leg protection, and an apron that falls below their belt over their tail. Their helmet's visor opens sideways at hinges, so that you can see their charming face. Sir Rendipity is a quiet and watchful guard for the Cat's Eye Knights who rest. She wears a colorful yellow-blue overlay, with tongue-shaped serration beneath leather armor and an iron hat. ⬢ Happily be! ⬢

Finally, an announcement! I'm glad to share that I'll be participating in TWO artsy fairs this year at the The Ford Piquette Avenue Plant, in Detroit, Michigan!

I plan to display my Happily Hummingbee greeting cards, prints, and original framed paintings for purchase. I've been to the Ford Piquette Avenue Plant myself, and there's a lot of history to be seen in the venue. It's all very exciting and I cannot wait to continue the journey I began a long year-and-a-half ago to connect on more local scenes. “Jazzasaurus”

A digital image of last month’s Patreon Print gift, which is kind of like a fourth illustration of the card set that’s made in secret and mailed as a physical reward to some tiers.

This year, I'm showcasing the monthly seamless patterns I make in the print gifts, since that seems like a more tangible reward other than just getting your peepers on exclusive art and my illustrative process. So yup, I make seamless patterns for Adobe Photoshop, because details are important! For just $3 you can get the pattern shown here (called Rhapsody Jam), 11 other patterns for Adobe Photoshop, plus all my behind-the-scenes content for my greeting cards and illustrations.

This pattern was entirely digitally made and though I’m not too fond of how it came out, I am glad I stuck the lineart through until the end. I tried something new; I love the pattern I made, but the blocky and neon style and shapes just don’t jive with how I usually paint or draw things. Last month’s card set were the Brass Hoot line of cards, which depict jazzy dinosaurs -  Hadrisauridae, specifically - having fun and playing brass horn instruments.

I've been invited to showcase my work at RAW Detroit presents: PREMIERE, a one-night event in Detroit, Michigan at the St. Andrew's Hall on January 16th, 2020. Doors open to ticket holders at 7:00pm and I have to note that the event is rated for those 18 years old or older.   I'm classified as a Visual Artisan Showcase, and I plan to display my Happily Hummingbee greeting cards for purchase in addition to as many of my recent paintings and illustrations as I am able to fit in the allotted space. You’ll find these Character Commission prices reflect my commission prices posted [here], I just refined the post by what a commissioner might specifically order rather than be overwhelmed by the options of the difference between waist-ups, choosing lineart, or thinking up kinds of backgrounds. Plus, for Icons and Busts, the more individual commissions you order, the more discounted the total is!
