The time has come for our Honorary Member Ben to graduate from HimeProject. As his graduation dance, he has chosen the live performance of Knock from YoumaCon 2017. You can watch the cover here.

When he joined our group last year, he did us a huge favor. We had a last minute bump in the road, and he agreed to sub in several dances for that year's performances. Practices with him were never dull, whether it came to always reminding him that he had to crouch to be shorter than us in lines, or whether he was insisting on doing a handstand during Rythm Ta. He practiced harder than most, drilling with us for hours on end, particularly with this dance. It was truly a privilege to guide someone so determined to make his friends (and girlfriend, Daisy Hime) proud, and performing alongside him brought a smile to each of our faces. We're losing a hard working member, one who always knows how to make us laugh.

Good luck, Ben! We wish you good fortune in all your future endeavors!

On your auditions post, why are people not supposed to be in another dance group?

Hi and thank you for asking! We hold practices typically two weekends out of the month and this can be very demanding of our members. The rule about not being in other dance groups is to ensure that our members are focused on our set~!

The time has come! Auditions for Generation Four are officially open! What you need to do: ♛Film a dance cover and upload it to YouTube! You can choose whichever dance you would like as long as it is Kpop, Jpop, or MandoPop!

♛Fill out our application on Google Forms! It should only take around ten or fifteen minutes! It will ask some basic questions as well as provide a space for you to submit the dance cover you have posted to YouTube! You can find a link to the form here.

Rules: ♛ You must be at least 18 years old ♛ You must live in the Michigan area ♛ You must not be in any other dance group ♛ While past dance experience is not necessary, it will be helpful ♛ Remember: HimeProject is inclusive of all gender identities! You don't have to be a girl to be a princess! All genders are welcome! Good luck to you all! We hope to meet you soon!
